I finally decided to upgrade from my Cobra F6+ driver I've used since it came out. Had to splurge and get the Green Season Opener edition with the green shaft, love the color, love the look, love Cobra drivers and woods. Great video as always Al!
Thanks to your reviews I just picked one of these up for a song (brand new) just got back from the range...I will be dipped if I did not have more marks in the sweet spot, still need to learn the club a bit more...all in all I am impressed, good feel, good sound, when I hit it right good flight. Thanks for the great videos Alex.
Absolutely bang on !!! Can’t wait for the head-to-head as I went out and bought the speed zone only a month ago as i’m not too sure there was any comparison and I do like the speed zone not too sure about the rad ,And boy do you get some distance out of the speed zone

I have built a full callaway set and a cobra set. I play the Radspeed Driver, 3wood, & hybrid. . My irons are thr RF Forged MB Copper blades.. I actually use a im10 50gram stiff in my driver same as in my Epic Speed Max LS in my callaway set.
You should do a Radspeed full range video where you play on the course with only the clubs in the range. As someone who plays all speedzones and would be willing to change if there better it would be very interesting

Played a tournament yesterday-----August 3 2024 3years after this video----my friend let me use his Rad speed to see if I wanted to buy it,,,loved it and on our last hole it busted😢 and still had to buy it. So now is There a way to fix it??? Please help me out
I’m sure you already know this but I’ll throw out the obvious to most. “Rad” outside of “radial weighting” is also a play on slang from the 80’s (especially in California). Hence the 80’s looking club and lime/yellow neon color scheme. Also a cool bike movie from the 80’s! I think it’s obviously more “fun” than professional, appealing to the younger crowd but I could really care less. If it performs it performs. I’ll give it a go when it comes out. The Rad fairways seem to be a dream from the reviews.

Just picked this club up 3 days ago and got to try it today. On my 6th ball I hit at the driving range the head flew off and went further than the ball. The shaft broke right where the adjustment is. 6 hits! No hitting the ground, no hitting the shaft or the heel. Don't understand. Called Dicks and they will let me return and exchange for another club. In my case another brand. Was excited about the club but just didn't work out. Anyone else experience a cobra shaft break.... regular shaft?

@@alexetchesgolf Ping engineering did tests on reducing drag on the club head and turbulators reduce drag significantly. Even if you don't believe them... their drivers and woods are just as long with significantly better dispersion and accuracy than any other driver or wood. I like that they let their product speak for itself and don't go out like TM and pay a whole bunch of top guys a truck load of money to use their clubs and hope people will buy TM because they are using it.
I own this. I can hit a very nice draw (Rh) on the regular, but not with this driver. 3k range balls with this and its still a problem, it likes to come off right no matter your swing plane.
I would 100% buy it if they called it the Cobra Poo Emoji!! 🤷🏻♂️

From the handful of reviews I've watched, that driver makes a completely different sound when hit out the middle. I like it!

Just watched the 160lb Canuck slam the ball 390 yards with a 185.6 ball speed on a RAD driver fitted with an Autoflex, Oakmont hole 11.

If I had money for a new driver, the radspeed would be at the top of my list. I’d also want to check out the cobra king tour irons.

Remember the tensei orange is counterbalanced so u need to add head weight to keep swingweights similar. The rdx blue shaft looks nice though!

With the custom shaft does a bad shot the spin drops off too much but with stock the spin is still maintained to keep the distance?
Thought maybe a Team Al logo would be; a T/A over a long range missile, but re-thinking it, the T/A would not fair well in certain circles...

It’s true, not everyone dislikes the look but that’s all they are for: Visuals - will make little to no effects aerodynamically.

Tensei orange is counter balanced isn't it? Your dispersion was good, but wouldn't a counter balanced shaft in a lighter head be counter intuitive?
Absolutely. If I had extra head weight options I would but unfortunately these are yet to be released.
