"Cobra Long" - Never played a Cobra driver, but played the S3 Pro Irons for years. Cobra equipment is underrated!

Just tested the Radspeed against my speed back 2019 model. Wasn’t expecting the gains. In the Sim it was 15 yards up on my speed back this also translated to the Course. My best drives now finish 260-270yds. Will be a senior on Friday so I am more than happy. 😂

Price effects definetly my driver choice! I only buy used drivers, 2 seasons old, for example. you save a lot of money and the performance is still very good. I just purchased a Radspeed XB, only played two rounds, top condition for 50% retail.... one of the best drivers I have ever used =)

Played the Cobra Fly-z for a couple years , then upgraded to my current Cobra F9 speedback that’s been good to me. Love them and for the price can’t go wrong.

I’ve got an F9, which replaced a Ping g30.. I got because of its price point, I absolutely love it, had it a good 16 months, it’s become a real tool for me as I’ve progressed from 16 to 9 handicap! You’re tempting me to go have a try with the RAD after watching that mind 😂

I use the F9 now for about 2 years, I have a 5 Hcp, I love it. I personally find it better than the Callaway, Ping, Taylormade or Titleist. Most forgiving driver for me and I can work it both left and right.

Have used Cobra LD M speed Driver made in 2007 for many years. A tinny sound, however performed well. Not a fan of adjustable drivers. I now play Cobra F max at 10.5* rh--I need the loft now at 75 years old- swing speed has dropped to 95 ish mph, but to be expected at my age.
Thank you Mr. Crossfield for your videos. Have been watching you for quit awhile.
Keep up the excellent videos, and commentary.
    Thank you,

I currently play off 19.7. I bought the Radspeed XD a year ago. I was previously using an older Wilson driver. It has added 42 yards to my average drive, and since purchase my handicap is down by 7. Incredibly forgiving. One thing that wasn't highlighted in this video, the club face shows a mark for ball impact after every shot, and is easily wiped clean each time. Great feedback for how centrally you are striking the ball. I can catch it off extremes high or low of the face, or toe or heel, with hardly any drop off in performance. Fabulous driver. Got the 3 wood too. Highly recommended for the mid to high handicapper.

5 handicap, 110-115mph clubhead spped. Got fitted earlier this year and between SIM, Ping G410, LST, SpeedZone, & SpeedZone Xtreme the SpeedZone Xtreme gave me best results. Been extremely happy with it.

“Cobra Long” - I played a Cobra F speed driver about 13 years ago when they looked and felt like they were in their infancy. Performed OK for me at the time but looked and felt a little cheap compared to others. I fitting in Summer saw me pick up the speed zone in driver and 3 wood (standard fairway) and it’s a quality club. What you touched on at the end regarding recoveries etc and the “Ping” stability you are spot on. For both clubs it was so close in numbers and arguably came down to ball speed for me and that extra distance from the Cobras. Dispersion was only slightly higher with them and all in all it’s what I felt most comfortable with at set up. Thanks for your videos which really helped before I had a fitting to decider the numbers! Another point on price without sounding like an idiot I’d have been happy to pay for the Sim or Maverick it was about getting the best club for me. But I hated them. The sound, feel etc. But when you compare price I think this is a no brainier and the Cobra machine, fan base is creeping up! The big boys really need to watch out

Just been fitted by Cobra and they put me in the Radspeed, which I was surprised at being new to golf. The speed, distance, accuracy and flight was so much better than my current driver. Night and day different. Just got to wait 6 weeks for it now!

I have an F8 driver I've used for 2 years, just picked up the speedzone. I've gained 15 yards and love it!
I also "played" with a light shaft and it added a bit more distance over my F8 shaft!!!

I first purchased the driver having tested the top five drivers and I hit the cobra better and straighter than any of the other clubs. Following on I now own the 3 wood and the fairway lte which Im very impressed with. Plus saved me a load of money.

I have started with Cobra and never tries other brands. For the driver I started with the FMax draw which is perfect for beginners, very straight for those like who tends to slice ... I have moved then to SpeedZone Extreme ... much harder to play, very stiff but when you get use to it and a good release you gain distance and the ball goes straight... but with this one you be accurate in your swing... I have started playing golf only since Nov 2019... I am now looking to the RAD SPEED XD... to get a wilder tolerance

Well done on a great review, as usual you point out a few things most don't want to hear but all valid. Have dropped from 18hcp to 10hcp from Feb 2020 to now, thanks to you. I game both 2007 TaylorMade Burner Driver & just acquired the Cobra F8+ and through seeing the difference in SG using the Cobra I have been super impressed with the gains. On another note, being from South Africa, I think cobra is making inroads on the 'new' golfers and beating competitors on choice and quality for the money. Thanks and keep it up! Stay safe.

Never owned a cobra driver but have considered them. I recently tested several different drivers in a fitting and the 2 top for me were the Srixon ZX5 and the TSi2. Wasn't a huge fan of the look of the Srixon so ended up purchasing the TSi2. Not overly concerned on price as I am not one to change my clubs every year.

“Cobra long”. It should be a selection based on your personal testing and requirements of your own game. I’m currently about to go for a test and fitting for a replacement driver, so based on this Mark, definitely a consideration. Thanks.

I have been using the Cobra AMP Driver for a number of years and I was very happy with it. You liked it in your review too, but mentioned that you didn't like the color. Well, as an employee of a Volksbank in Germany, I'm an orange guy, so I really liked the grip. I am currently using a Mizuno JPX 900 driver, blue of course and I like it too. But I would use a Cobra Driver again at any time, also because of the low price. Cheers

    Cobra Long.
I bought a Speed Zone last February when it was released. I’m very happy with the driver! It wasn’t much longer than my previous Rogue driver but I hit it much straighter, less snap hook. Almost a small fade but low spin so it’s still long.

"Cobra Long" - Never played Cobra but defiantly on my driver test list along with Mizuno and Ping G410 which will hopefully be the older model in January as looking to replace my dinked 915d. Price has to be considered in the current climate and I personally wouldn't consider paying over the odds for a driver especially when you are proving time and time again that there is very little in them at that end, great video Mark keep it up.

Using the same shaft in all three the numbers were very similar, but TM and Callaway were a tiny bit better. Ended up buying the Callaway because it was $50 cheaper than the TM. "Cobra Long"
Tested the Cobra Amp Offset Driver at TGW. Loved it!! Purchased it. Played a couple rounds with it. Sucked really bad on the course with it. Returned it couple days later for full refund lol

When i was transitioning from junior to men’s I used a cobra S3 ladies driver for a while. Big high launching 12° and draw biased was probably the best ball flight I have ever had.

I currently play an F9 fastback and I absolutely love it. Something about the stunning color scheme got to check out a the driver and the numbers made me purchase it. 4 hit fairway and 2 hit 160 butttt both 160’s hit the fairway! Cheers mate!
    Also “cobra long”

Used 2 Cobra drivers over the years. Both very good and remained in my bag for some considerable time.

Last winter tested a selection of drivers from Ping, Titlest, Mizuno, and Cobra, but all end-of-stock models from the previous year. Came to the conclusion with the fitting pro that it didn't make a blind bit of difference which one I picked in terms of performance. So I picked the cheapest one and had it tweaked to fit me... I dare say I could do the same test with the latest models from the same OEMs and reach the conclusion that the 2019 models were just as good for me.

Play Cobra and love them. I played 2020 speed zone driver and 3W. Shaft is key to how well you hit it. Find the right flex and let it fly.

Fitted for a new driver this spring, Ping/Cleveland/Mizuno & Cobra, came away with the SZ and have improved across the summer with it, have dropped it from 10.5 to 9 & also moved weight to front.

“Cobra Long” I have been watching your channel for years Mark and it just seems to get better through time. Your introduction of Shots Gained is really interesting and provides another important dimension to deciding on the clubs one buys. I have played Cobra, but it was years ago. I was fitted for a draw driver and for someone who feared the left side of the fairway, it was a disaster. Changed it after 3 months, 😂

I currently have a 10.5 degree Cobra Air-X SN driver in the bag. It was an upgrade to the Taylor Made Burner I was using. I found that the Cobra is very forgiving. I was able to hit more fairways more constantly without sacrificing distance off the tee. In fact, I seem to have gained about an average of 10 yards. The Cobra has an ultra light shaft, I got mine in a stiff flex. For about $230 it was a solid investment.

    COBRA LONG
I currently game a Cobra big tour 3 wood and I like the feel of it compared to my old Epic Flash 3 wood. Looking at a new driver in Spring so I’ll definitely be trying these.

Played the Speedzone xtreme and it was great, straight and long. I now have the Radspeed and it is just as great.
