I ordered these, attempted to install, however they would not tighten to the post so I could just pull them off. Installed a set on my camper battery and they are great.
Great video. I will be installing them on my 2020 Tacoma 4cyl. My present battery is just shy of 4 yrs old. I will be adding a fuse block for extra lighting ( LED) This will the perfect solution to my upgrade.
I suggest you reroute that red cable going to the positive terminal. Not sure if it is the video angle but too me it seems like it is passing a bit to close for comfort near the negative terminal block. Remember things vibrate, rub, cable ties snap and murphy's laws are a b!@#^. I always noticed how well Toyota's engineers over-designed things on the 80. Seemed to have had this fail-safe in mind when they designed the separate/spread apart holes on the non-conductive battery box. If wires insulation failed completely they still would not short circuit. I also believe the battery box is some kind of fiber-glass material not cheap plastic.
