The negative terminal appeared to be moving perhaps you need to cut and video but nonetheless these are some good terminals set of them myself well worth it
I got them and all I can say is wow 👌 best quality I have ever seen in battery terminals . From the type of material used and the fit and finishes 10 out of 10.
Yea, I agree that these GP's are the best over the similar type terminals. I have two sets of them for my 2-battery Big-4 Setup. ***However*** I sure would like to see where someone has figured out a way to fab-up some sort of cover for the positive side. I can't think of anything that would work. Thanks for the awesome video btw...
Put some of that liquid rubber wire insulator ? I use that stuff all the time to cover electric things it's really nice. You just apply it like a thick paint and then it dries like a rubber
yep those guys at GP Audio are pretty cool I talked to them awhile back about cutting me out a new box on their cnc table I sent them my cut sheet they said they could do it all 13 ply with double baffles shipped for $250 all the fits would be very precise not a bad deal👍
I don't see them reviewed either. Good looking out. Suggestion, maybe you can make these kind of videos for every little part you can. You can recommend the best price and best brand. It would immensely help me out and the rest of the Bassheads in the community.
I like with that one, the shim screw can be changed for a shorter bolt, and then have a 7th smaller lug if needed. But I'll probably never need that many lol.

GP makes really high quality parts using good materials & precision CNC mills & lathes..& NO you can't duplicate it with prices of raw materials alone. You pay for their expert labor & quality control.
Please what is the brand name of these battery terminals and where can I buy them.I am sick and tired of using these weak metal steel battery terminals that will corrode and start messing up my batteries.I rather I spend extra money that will last and give me peace of mind.
daddydude2011 cca is stranded aluminum wire vs a solid milled piece of aluminum that’ll handle the power transfer much more efficiently with much less heat.
Great video as always!! but I have a question if cca wire is so bad how is aluminum battery terminal good I understand corrosion would be a factor but wouldn't copper terminal with dielectric grease be alot better but other than that they look top quality again thank you for all your videos
The truth is in order of conductive properties and heat dissipation it goes Silver, Gold, Copper then Aluminum. Silver and Gold would be to expensive so Copper is the better choice then Aluminum. The problem with Aluminum is it gets hot very quickly. In turn heat causes energy loss. Copper is a much better conductive material almost 2 times better, and does not create near the heat that aluminum does. This is why most of your bus bars in electrical components is made out of copper. Some electrical suppliers are going to aluminum due to cost. It also takes twice the amount of aluminum to allow for the heat dissipation to equal that of copper. Copper is also more dense the reason it has better conductivity where aluminum is more of an airid metal.
@@michaelflowers6048 gold has worse conductivity than copper and some grades of aluminum, platinum is higher than silver. Gold is used as plating because it's easy to plate on to things, but very noble in terms of reactivity with the elements, plus it looks good, it isnt used as plating for it's superior conductivity, but because of its natural resistance to corrosion and its "good enough" conductivity. It's also too soft and expensive to use for anything more than plating. Silver is used in situations where corrosion is easily mitigated or the conductivity is that important, silver, while expensive, doesn't touch the cost of materials like gold and platinum.
@@robertdouglas4414 gold was supposed to be after copper. In order of conductivity it goes silver, copper, gold, aluminum this is what it should have said. As far as aluminum goes why do you think aluminum wiring is outlawed in house wiring it is because it puts off a lot of heat and is the cause of a lot of house fires in older houses that had aluminum wiring

Nothing better hf.
Jim’s are 5/8 thick I think and cool shape
I’ve had the same pair for about 3 mos totally awesome. Had skyhigh 6 pot prior for 3-4 years and the GP are superior.
I have one of those lepi mini amps in the background! Loved that thing paired with a set of dayton bookshelf speakers!
Solid little amps
I got these with my Northstar battery from gpcaraudio and couldn't be happier. Solid connections and room for all my wire.

It's the surface area and the type of aluminum they use that's the most important.. If they were copper I'd get them
What did you end up getting ?

eric dudley that’s a solid price for sure!
Hella a deal!
Thanks, exactly what I was looking for!
GP is some of the best Car Audio gear I have ever purchased 💯👉🔋🥇👑
I'm thinking about buying gp big 3 and amp kit ....
Cool video
I've got the same terminals. Love them!
They're great I just put mine on last weekend
I dig it for sure
Dang nice! Just bought knuvoncepts for my build!
Gotta love GP!!! I got some vids posted posted too now.
Awesome I’ll have to check em out

Hot Rod 1949 yeah they’re geared towards a high powered build for sure
Was hoping this was for the Sonata. I’ve been trying to figure out what terminals to use in my 2012 Limited with the nasty fusible link in the way.
Z Hedge I cut a hole in the positive terminal plastic and just put a lug directly on the bolt

These work good for diesels ?
I don’t see why not
Do you prefer a lug style connection over a Ferrule?
I like them both as long as you’re using ferrules. If you’re using a set screw type connection without a ferrule then I prefer a lug style connection.
NICE!!!
Ive got similar ones for a better deal than 55$ but there set screw one instead of like these shown

Having different sizes is fine, but only if their all metric or all SAE not mixed.
For sure it’s just nice when they’re all the same
Why aluminium terminal when cca is frowned upon ???
daddydude2011 cca is stranded aluminum wire vs a solid milled piece of aluminum that’ll handle the power transfer much more efficiently with much less heat.
Id like to see a voltage test of some sort the solid aluminium vs solid Copper. Just to see if its truly as good as copper
daddydude2011 I dunno if it’s as good as copper, but it’s just not bad like we’d consider cca wire.
After you connect the wires from the engine to it you really only have like four maybe a few more a larger one would be bigger
U can always stack 2 on one if u run outta spots
Great video as always!! but I have a question if cca wire is so bad how is aluminum battery terminal good I understand corrosion would be a factor but wouldn't copper terminal with dielectric grease be alot better but other than that they look top quality again thank you for all your videos
