As a fellow owner of both. Ive learned how to fix my FPV and I have so much fun now! No more fear of crashing as parts are dirt cheap and its pretty easy to work on. The Avata2 is a nightmare so I baby it.
I was looking at purchasing the DJI Avata 2 last weekend and I was looking for a good video comparison between it and the DJI FPV (not that I have one) but I couldn’t find any good ones. I own a DJI Mavic Air 2 (replaced my crashed Mavic Pro 3 with the Air 2 a few years ago) with the DJI Smart Controller and I connect the DJI Goggles Racing Edition to the controller through an HDMI cable to experience FPV. But the DJI Avata 2 looks like fun. Great comparison video. Thanks.
Well they did bring the DJI Integra and Goggles 2 compatibility to the DJI FPV, but to be honest I personally don't think they will. But like I said, they did update the Integra and Goggles 2 so maybe they will do that with these too 😅
I bought the Avata 2 as I have zero experience with FPV flying. Once I get my bearings on FPV, I might get the DJI FPV later down the line (or something else newer and better).
Hey! I just wanted to have it so that the channels are more niched down, so my main channel will be more about consumer tech while this one (CineMirage) will be about Filmmaking / filmmaking tech 😄
I like both but goggles 3 are much more compact and quicker to put on and no time wasted screwing in antenas, for me the DJI FPV is great in manual except for that the battery only last for 5 to 6 min max or less which more often than not does not justify the weight of lugging it around just for 15min flight with 3 heavy batteries, would be nice if battery tech was better and they made a battery that could last 30min in manual mode, hopefully sometime in future battery can be modded, in meantime avata 2 with better camera and less noise is good and light enough to pack along with rest of gear.
Goggles 3 (and goggles 2/integra) are much more compact and quicker to use indeed, but unfortunately for me, they just don't fit me as well so the screens aren't as clear as on the V2. Yup, if only the FPV had longer flight time ! For now it seems like it's always some kind of compromise (size + strength vs lighter + better battery + less strength)

DJI FPV is definitely much easier to fix (and find parts for it) even tho it would "look" like it would be the other way around 😅
Is the FPV locked at 500 meters like the avata?
Underrated. Insanely good quality. How does this video only have 17 likes 😭
Thank You ! This is a brand new channel which might explain the lower numbers 😄

Curious why you didnt use repair service.
@@bitsbytes123 … the local DJI agents advised that my Mavic 2 Pro was not repairable. I sold it for parts.
Thank You !
Flying with fpv drones is definitely a whole different experience😄
Do you feel that is possible that the goggles 3 will work on the DJI fpv in the future?

The DJI FPV, to me is still the clear winner

that is so awesome, saying from same fpv pilot! ^^
Glad You think so ! Thanks ! 😄
why new channel?
