A beautiful lady, inside and out. Still grounded in spite of all the success of Andy, they are well matched and have earned all they have through hard work and loyalty.
I went on the Duke of Edinburgh award group trip with Kim, when I worked at the girls school. She is exactly as I remember her: Stunning, mature and down to Earth. Really lovely person, with impressive leadership qualities, and really easy to converse with. I think she would make a fantastic presenter.
yes its simply out of this world, what a fantastic natural talent she has for interior design, simply amazing, im totally fascinated by her expertise for fabrics etc.
Aside from a truly fantastic hotel, this woman’s tone of voice and personality is so enjoyable. Easy to listen to and watch. Just as lovely as the amazing castle!
Such a creative re-do, it has its own personality, like no one else's. (Of course I haven't a clue what the old decor was like, but it doesn't matter. One can tell that this is all its own thing). I have to say, I am so sick and tired of seeing houses without any Art in them, so THIS is WONDERFUL! It is exciting to see paintings up on walls. I was beginning to despair with all the new houses, or people remodeling .... and big blank walls ... and people seemingly oblivious. It makes me want to cry. People will spend a fortune on electronics (that will be obsolete in five minutes) but won't buy Art. THIS s heartwarming.
We were fortunate to have gotten married at Cromlix April 2nd. after the renovation. From the time of arrival to departure, this was a fabulous stay. Staff were amazing, helpful, the food was phenomenal. You will not be disappointed in staying here!
@@YVRCasting there were plenty; however when my husband and I (fiancé at that time of looking) were looking at venues, we both independently liked Cromlix and when we presented our findings of venues to each other, Cromlix was at the top. This suited us. Keep in mind this was all set and done prior to knowing about the renovations.
I got married here 3 and a half years ago. It looks completely different now. We played on that snooker table for hours. Although i hope they've invested in better cues since then lol(or maybe we were just rubbish). It is such an amazing place to stay in. Especially when you have the place to yourselves cause the hotel and restaurant were closed to general sales in level 3 covid restrictions. They did everything they could for us. We love this place.
I'm getting one of these if I ever win the lottery...looks magnificent. Nothing better than sitting by the fire in a place like this when it's blowing a winter's gale outside!
Looks stunning can’t wait to visit again, we have wonderful memories of our wedding in the chapel squeezing 52 guests in and have been back for many anniversaries in the last 24 years. Great to see Cromlix looking even better.
Love her use of cokours in particular n how she manages to retain such a cozy look while clearly loving the space... a place I would love to visit especially coz I have such respect for Andy Murray
Stunning! This is what these films are all about. Just glimpsing a beautiful interior design gives us a chance to dream and maybe introduce a little of this style into our homes. I am definitely going to look into those amazing floral wallpapers... bravo Kim and Andy
Was lucky to get to stay last summer generous birthday treat from my husband Beautiful hotel Restaurant was fabulous My husband got me chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for the room absolutely delicious Highly recommend
Beautiful restoration job. So lovely the chapel survived the fire. Your place is blessed. Wonderful tour. Thank you. Will be checking it out for a stay.
It's my first time seeing Kim (and I didn't even know who her husband was), but I'm captivated by her enrgy. I got an impression she's a hard-working and determined person. Loved this tour. Thank you for sharing.
I’ve visited several times pre makeover and was hoping it wouldn’t alter the character of the house, it hasn’t, it looks fabulous, I love the ‘botanical touches’ and greenery added to the restaurant to soften it. Well done Kim and all who helped with the alterations!
What an incredibly beautiful home ( I hasten to add that I call it home because it’s just so much like a beautiful home and not a hotel. ) I think you have done an amazing job Kim. Well done and good luck with this wonderful venture
We stayed there a few years back. What a lovely hotel. Super friendly staffs and each room has its own decorations. You feel like you are staying in someone's home than in a hotel. The place is not too far from Highclere Castle for those Downton Abbey fans. Should definitely be on everyone's bucket list.
Looks like an amazing place to stay in any season. Great location to access yet gives one that feeling of serene tranquility in the Scottish forests around Dunblane. It’s in my sights for a stay now! 😎
It looks amazing. Top class quality. I will be able to see myself as we are visiting in a few days. Always been a dream to visit as a massive Murray fan. Glad we waited for the refit. Kim you are so good at presenting.x
Love Cromlex hotel in every way. The rooms are glorious there’s been so much thought put into every room. My hubby would love the billiard room the most. I can’t choose I love them all. Beautiful surrounding woodlands, mountains. Glorious 🤩🙌
Taking us thru this grand building surrounded by it’s natural setting was such a pleasure…from a sparkling interior that was very original and inviting…especially the bathroom and the sitting room where afternoon tea was taken….thankyou Kim

Hard to believe he bought this property 10yrs ago for under £2M, just shows what a rip off it is living in south of England where this would cost you around £10-15M here in Buckinghamshire, maybe more. Beautiful hotel and so well done.
I don’t see the high prices here in the South East as a rip-off but, rather, the inevitable result of supply and demand. We do have a lot of people earning a lot of money and they chase the houses that they, and others, want. So, up goes the price. Not dissimilar to houses at the lower end of the scale; the land costs more (again, supply and demand) the building materials shouldn’t differ greatly but the labour costs are much higher down here. Where this impacts people most negatively is the first time buyers - or, rather, that they can’t buy. House prices have risen far, far more quickly than salaries. I bought my first house, as a single person, in 1976 and it cost me £10,000. I was given the deposit of £2,000 by my parents and got a mortgage for the rest based on my salary of £2,000 a year. Now, if we assume I was earning, say, £40,000 a year now, I could only afford a house of £160,000 - there is no house anywhere near that cheap. Plus, I got a mortgage of 4 times salary; what is it now, 2? 2 1/2?. If we say 2 1/2, then I could afford £100,000. Part ownership is probably the only answer that I can think of. To try and fix land prices or house prices is absolutely fraught with danger. Look at how wage restraint decades ago was a complete failure.
Beautiful, bold& tasteful interior design..( The Billiards room might take a little getting used to, i tend to go for the more traditional approach & colour scheme) But set in breathtaking scenery! Great Job!
Been there I was allowed to light a candle for my late husband very emotional day for me,the girls in my family took me ther for lunch on my birthday and we were shown about some of the rooms but that was before it was refurbished lovely place well done Kim
Kim is absolutely lovely, Andy ! you got a catch there.. luck chap..Y'all are a wonderful couple.. Stay blessed
Wow! This is exactly what I would want in a country home if I could ever afford it. Sheer perfection! Well done Kim!
Yes, a superb example of good taste. My only slight reservation is that the wallpaper in the billiard room could have been used more sparingly.
It’s not their home, it’s a hotel you can stay there 🤷♀️
@zoefreeman3950 I'm sure the OP understands that.
@@zoefree3950 Ha! Of course!

It’s an old English term, that after 1776 remained in general use in the US but fell out of use in the UK, apart from the word ‘Ill gotten’
