Matilda’s evolution of a home series with house and garden is a must watch
I loved seeing the renovation series of her home that was done for House and Home about 4 years ago. It is great seeing how she changed it to suit the needs of her two children! Her little girl's bedroom is adorable.
They did a whole evolution of a home series on House and Garden of her house, so interesting to see how it has further changed since then.
The Sunday Times Style is one of my favorite channels for home tours. I decided to watch this particular video because a TH-camr I watch really admires Matilda's home decor style. I believe even watching videos with styles different from yours can be a great source of inspiration. For example, I love the idea of using denim as an upholstery fabric because it will age and develop a beautiful wear over time. Interestingly, while watching, I realized that the checkered backsplash in Matilda's kitchen is the same one I pinned for inspiration for my own kitchen renovation! I also adore the wood desk and vintage lighting.
If you like this, bet you'd love Homeworthy and Architectural Digest too 🥰
paige wassel right XD
I never get tired of this house 😅
Same!!!
I still find myself referring back to Matilda's Home Evolution series. It's so nice to see the updates she's added since. Such an intentionally designed home. Cozy and unpretentious. ❤
Thank you for sharing Matilda's home again. I always watch her Evolution of a Home series, in fact I still watch weekly. It's a favorite & it's so lovely to see the updates. I would love a tour of her garden & laundry too!
That French bistro table seems like the perfect piece to me. Round corners for kids, perfect height for chopping if you’re sitting at the table, leaves plenty of clearance around the table. I know she said it’s a placeholder, but I can’t imagine anything better!
True
I love this and have lots of Matilda’s things dotted around my house. Love how she combines colours and fabrics. Her home is full of joy 🎉
The vintage desk is gorgeous!
The master bedroom is unique & lovely.
Watched this home previously on a different decor channel. Lovely to revisit 💜💜💜
This is my style. Love the colours and the feeling of fun this home emits. It's joyful 😊
I have missed seeing you, never get tired of seeing your beautiful home 🩷
Such a lovely house and host, they go so well together!
Always loved this home! Thanks for the tour
I love Matilda Goad's design style so unique, fun yet practical. 😊💜
The colour palette M.G has chosen for her house interior is lovely and harmonises throughout. Many thanks for sharing. Very enjoyable and inspiring.
Lovely home, with so many lovely touches.
What a delightful exploration of creativity. 💛💛
Love the daughters bedroom so much!!! Just goes to show you dont need to use that hideous barbie pink everywhere, to create a gorgeous space for a little girl. Overall the house is beautiful, love the mix of old and new, something i've always done. Love the denim seating, thats smart :D
I love everything about this home. It's delightful in every way.
Delightful! Loved all your previous videos, and love this one too!
Fabulous tour 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and creative home with us...
You're so absolutely charming 😍
What an absolutely gorgeous home. The use of colour is fantastic
The main bedroom is so serene and lovely, and that painting from Stockholm is perfection in the space.
Love her style so much, the colors and textures are so good together
What a gorgeous home, love everything about it 😍
❤❤❤❤That bay window with the table ❤❤❤❤
Such lovely and achievable ideas!
Beautiful 🤩 the kids bedroom is magical!
Stunning house.
I love the daughter’s room color scheme. ❤❤❤
"Bonket"...!??! I want that day bed, I have always loved that piece.
Love her house ❤❤
Beautiful and creative. Love it.
LOVING this 😍 it's giving me Alice in wonderland vibes ♣️♦️🤍
The Sunday Times Style, I really liked this video! I subscribed too!
Thank you very much to welcome all of us to your beautiful home🥰
Beautiful home!
Just lovely - the perfect family home designed to fit this families specific needs and wants. I'd love to know where to get that fabulous daybed. It is indeed difficult to find well-designed, convertible pieces that work well in small rooms. Thank you for a wonderful tour:)!
Stunning
Well done!
Such a modest little terrace house……a truly humble abode, each “rum” so lovely! I always have problems importing my acacia wood tables too, such a bore dealing with the little people,oh my, life is so difficult.
um amor de casa, eu me lembro de andar a ver a transformação desta casa linda ❤❤❤
Love her home but also LOVE her top!!! Where is it from?
Such a fun home!
Great video - always enjoy Matilda's TH-cam videos. Shame about the background music competing with Matilda speaking, she is far more interesting than royalty free music!
Amo a Matilda Goad. Desde sus diseños hasta la manera en que se viste... todo lo hace bien. Un antídoto para toda la vulgaridad norteamericana que todo mundo se muere por imitar.
Just beautiful
lovely lovely place
It's my birthday today, best day of the year happy St Georges day everyone.
Impressive and warm
Al creative young woman with a sensibility regarding how she and her family live. I worried about the blue cushions around the table, but she assured me that practicalities come to fore with small children - washable covers. I also believe that children should learn to live with special things, they learn to respect and enjoy the setting in which they live.
the fabric on the banquet in the playroom is so cool! the horse!!!! where is the fabric from?
You can get on Nordic Nest. Jakten fabric
Could you please share the paint colour of your loving room bookshelf? Love your style. Thank you.
There is a whole series on the design of this house on House and Garden. If you search her name on You Tube you should find it. I think she definitely mentioned the colour in one of those episodes.
@@tilanakruger Thank you for replying and reminding me where I had seen this room and designer before. I watched it again on the H&H channel, and Matilda Goad mentions the color as “paprika red”. When I look up Farrow and Ball paint, I think perhaps a match is No. 48. Hard to say.
Ah the children’s room is so nice
Love your style Matilda loved your shoes too can you tell me where you got them please?
sooo sweet 🥰
love.
"Sort of" swapped in for "um"
Could you add English subtitles on all of videos please?🥺🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Tap video. Tap "cc" button.
This house is 100% early 1970's.
It's her creation. There's no rules that says her husband has to be present. Her work is being highlighted, not his.
Here bc of Paige wassel 😆
ahaha i have a similar "marble table " to sell but rectangle in shape if anyone is interested
why is the cameraman so shaky. kinda disorienting
The criss crosson her white cabinet is too busy for me . Other than that everything looks good .
could you please send a proper camera operator to do these stories thx in advance
There’s nothing she does that is outstanding or special. I don’t get what all the hubbub is about. 🤷🏾♀️
O, Matilda - get over yourself.
I loved her home before this house, This home is a disaster to me!
Am I the only one who is wondering: Matilda moved in with her husband and now shares the home with her kids, the youngest only 1. Where is the husband? Argh , such a nice home and another broken family? Well, I wish this family nothing but the best..enjoy your beautiful home..
Why are you trying to stir shit up? May be she does not want to say anything about her marriage because it's none of anyone's business.
She mentions her husband later in the video if it’s a concern of yours.
I thought this was a vlog about home design, not a soap opera. I think I'll just watch it for the home and not worry about everyone else's business.
Uhm maybe the husband is camera shy?
I think Matilda just worded that bit weirdly. Does make it seem like they’re not together anymore but they probably are!
