IFR Currency in the Carolina’s

Had the opportunity to fly without the kiddos and shoot the RNAV (GPS) RWY 28 into Statesville Regional and ILS RWY 20 into Concord.
Intended to return to Concord VFR and take in the scenery but had to remain fluid and fly IFR due to the low ceilings lingering in the area.
Such a blast but I do prefer to share the magic of flying with my kids aboard!
