I had worked in Bahrain for 15 years.Very Polite people n respectful people of Bahrain.They don't discriminate on basis of caste or religion unlike in India.Many Indians are in big positions no matter which religion you belong to.

Very good salary. No income tax. Only 10% vat on buying things
Yes VAT increased from 5% to 10% this year
