I grinded up till the sherman, m10, and cckw truck as my first nation in the game. Took a break and went to the russian tree. That was like a breath of fresh air. Got up to 4.0 there then went to the american tree and got to 4.0 there. Finally getting up to some higher tiers in the british tree and am thinking about trying france again.

Now I'm addicted, just loved the swedish ground, it made me forget my history of stress and tears when I tried ground for the first times (in Britain), and I just started the chinese tree now. The joke on french tier 1 tanks is that they already look like debris, use some of the black colour decals, make them as big as posible, put them on the front, and sit somewhere you only show your front, the seconds that the people are making sure if you are an actual tank and not an oversized brick is usefull af

this is coming from someone who started with french tanks and planes because they were unique looking. if you forget about the trash tanks (amc 34, fcm 36, h39 and h35 and the r35) and use the amd 35 as a rush tank on roads, you can have a lot of fun until you get the s 35(nothing can pen you from meduim distance of you angle), the d2(same as s35), the amc 35(great stabiliser for mid range peek sniping), the p7t (i think its better then the 353 with the bofors cannon) and the lorraine 37l (best glass cannon ever). it has a 1.3 lineup along with the v 156 or the cr 714 and i think the lineup is better than any other reserve nation.
@@usernamehere3366 Yeah but that's the 1.3 lineup, and if we look at 1.0 which makes up more than half of the tanks in this tier only the AMD 35 is really even useable. Trust me, this is coming from someone who has played and spaded every French I rank tank in RB.

13:40 is why I play France, I like to suffer, once you got past of that, you feel true French power. The experience you gain from playing tier 1 is invaluable in future tiers.

one thing to remember with the S-tanks is to not engage anything while you are on a hill. the hull aiming is rather clunky and the tank will tend to roll in a very bumpy manner when on a hill.

You guys underestimate China, It has the same vehicles as USSR and US, but with their repair costs multiplied by 2, (some others, like the IS-2 1944 by almost 3)

Hi, I'm just starting to develop the Swedish vehicles and one detail I found interesting is that the sniper vision on the Pvlvv fm/42 self propelled anti-aircraft has a better and longer view than binoculars. I love the tier 1 Swedish tank destroyer (it's name escapes me, it is the giant bazooka on tracks with an open back). I started with them as a beginner and used that tank in my line up all the way through tier 3. It can literally penetrate tier 6 and 7 tanks (probably not a kill shot, obviously) which just blows my mind, and will single shot anything tier 3 and below. Hell, tier 1 and 2 you don't even need to aim for weak spots. As a beginner, that is what I loved about it. I could hit a tank's barrel and still kill it somehow. Crazy stuff.
Italian anti air is really weird. They arguably have the best gun AA in the game with 2 SIDAMs and the single best anti air gun in the game, the OTOMATIC, but they dont get any missile AA (I dont really count the sidam because they're auto guided and have a relatively short range) so they cant deal with the KA-50s sniping you with vikhers from 10km that you are guaranteed to see 50 of per game
As a Sweden main, the s-tanks were a nightmare because, while yes, they're neat and speedy getting hit even once absolutely rocks your whole house, you lose movement and you're basically a siting duck.
As a new player who is grinding for the R3 T20, I have to say that the M13 in Tier 1 is one of the most ridiculous tanks I have ever played. There are some matches where I have lost the majority of my crew members and have not died. It is one of the most tankiest tanks I have ever played.
I was waking up this morning and asking myself why did I want to grind out the French techtree again as because at the moment I was going to grind out the British techtree then I saw the amx50 in the thumbnail and I said. “OH THATS RIGHT.” And now I’m gonna grind the French techtree

The 2.3 and 4.3 line-ups in ground arcade France are so braindead and OP it's mind boggling. France isn't the best as a first timer, but if you have some experience it is absolutely worth it. I'm talking consistent 2-3 kd ratios.

For France as well if you truly wanna grind the tech tree get the amx/m24 3.7br premium and the m4a1 amx 5.0 both are great tanks and even though the max m24 is a 3.7 you can use it at 5.3 as well as a scout tank since it has a stabilizer that just performs well up at 5.0-.3 but having that stabilizer changes everything at 3.7
As a French main I'd like to say that we have a lot more vehicles that can be added and the tree would need to be reworked if they get added. P.s: Why the man got to insult us so much? 😰
About Sweden. You forgoten to say them about PTSD from artillery and planes. For example Pvkv II mighty 15, 10, 10 mm armor on turret. And even have opened roof...
In my opinions, italy has better options with fireflies than britian The Tipo IC is on a hybrid hull which uses an M4A1 front plate, making it 5t lighter and thus noticeably more maneuverable than the standard VC firefly on an M4A4 hull. It also has 5 crew instead of 4, with it not having the machine gunner in the hull replaced with an ammo rack like the normal firefly, making it harder to one shot especially from a turret shot Then when you go to the Italian Sherman VC it's the same as a normal firefly, except it's at 5.0 instead of 4.7 in exchange for getting APDS
"The ARL-44 has no armor on it's turret" That's funny because it vanished an ISU-152 shell from existence, at point blank mind you. You don't need to look at the protection analysis to know that the ARL should have been vaporized right there but oh well. I should mention regarding the swedish tanks, the pvkv II is not the only tank with good depression, bu that's the standard of the swedish tree, every tank has at least -10°, the usual is 15-16, which makes swedish tanks a nightmare to fight against on hill maps since they can fire without being seen. The Pvkv II has to be one of if not the best sniper tank in the game with it's ridiculous scope magnification, depression and APHE round once unlocked, it's only held back by it's long reload.
I should've seen this video before I started playing warthunder with the french x) so much frustration and very slow if you're not premium, but now I enjoy playing tiers 1 sometimes
This video is a little out of date when it comes to Sweden, their "borrowed" tanks are all in one column on the research tree. But it's pretty accurate that they're a great starter and intermediate country. You get some really good Swedish tanks and you can also dip into the famous T34s, Panzer IV and Leopards too.

some of their fighters also serve as mini cas carrying small wing mounted bombs or the RN 2001 CN which is like a mini P-47

I was waking up this morning and asking myself why did I want to grind out the French techtree again as because at the moment I was going to grind out the British techtree then I saw the amx50 in the thumbnail and I said. “OH THATS RIGHT.” And now I’m gonna grind the French techtree
I assume that Part 4 will be about the other minor nations in War Thunder (Canada, Poland, etc)
Actually it's going to be a short conclusion to all 3 parts, which nation is best for what purposes etc. But minor nations could be a cool idea for a part 5, thanks!

The 2.3 and 4.3 line-ups in ground arcade France are so braindead and OP it's mind boggling. France isn't the best as a first timer, but if you have some experience it is absolutely worth it. I'm talking consistent 2-3 kd ratios.

For France as well if you truly wanna grind the tech tree get the amx/m24 3.7br premium and the m4a1 amx 5.0 both are great tanks and even though the max m24 is a 3.7 you can use it at 5.3 as well as a scout tank since it has a stabilizer that just performs well up at 5.0-.3 but having that stabilizer changes everything at 3.7

As a French main I'd like to say that we have a lot more vehicles that can be added and the tree would need to be reworked if they get added.

In my opinions, italy has better options with fireflies than britian
The Tipo IC is on a hybrid hull which uses an M4A1 front plate, making it 5t lighter and thus noticeably more maneuverable than the standard VC firefly on an M4A4 hull. It also has 5 crew instead of 4, with it not having the machine gunner in the hull replaced with an ammo rack like the normal firefly, making it harder to one shot especially from a turret shot
Then when you go to the Italian Sherman VC it's the same as a normal firefly, except it's at 5.0 instead of 4.7 in exchange for getting APDS
"The ARL-44 has no armor on it's turret" That's funny because it vanished an ISU-152 shell from existence, at point blank mind you.
You don't need to look at the protection analysis to know that the ARL should have been vaporized right there but oh well.
I should mention regarding the swedish tanks, the pvkv II is not the only tank with good depression, bu that's the standard of the swedish tree, every tank has at least -10°, the usual is 15-16, which makes swedish tanks a nightmare to fight against on hill maps since they can fire without being seen. The Pvkv II has to be one of if not the best sniper tank in the game with it's ridiculous scope magnification, depression and APHE round once unlocked, it's only held back by it's long reload.

I should've seen this video before I started playing warthunder with the french x) so much frustration and very slow if you're not premium, but now I enjoy playing tiers 1 sometimes

This video is a little out of date when it comes to Sweden, their "borrowed" tanks are all in one column on the research tree. But it's pretty accurate that they're a great starter and intermediate country. You get some really good Swedish tanks and you can also dip into the famous T34s, Panzer IV and Leopards too.
