Need help navigating the Public transit system in Stockholm? Want to find ways to budget travel your way though Sweden? Look no further.
Stockholm’s public transport system is very well organized and offers one of the most uniquely experiential public transportation experiences in the world. The system offers patrons a fairly easy way to navigate the city, as long as you have your SL card (metro, bus, some bikes or city tram\light rail). You can find all the useful info on the official SL website:

Did you know?
Stockholm's Metro is the longest ART galleries in the world. There are 14 uniquely adorned, colorful and in some cases frightening stations there. The most attractive and photographed ones are: T-Centralen, Kungstradgarden, Thorildsplan, Stadion, Solna Centrum, Tekniska Hogskolan, Radhuset although we recommend visiting them all. You should plan about half a day to experience all the Stockholm Metro has to offer.
City Bikes Stockholm: There are 140 bicycle stations around the city. To rent a bike, you need a bike-card (SL Card or City Bike Card) valid for three days or for the whole season. You can buy the bike-card on City Bikes’ webpage or at retailers (7-eleven, Pressbyrån, SL Center, Gallerian, Åhléns and in various hotels and tourist agencies).
Remember that you can only keep the bike for 3 HOURS at a time. It must be returned to one of the 140 stations within that time period.
Transportation to and from the airport is a cinch. The Arlanda express departs between 4 and 6 times an hour. Find out more about the Express train here:

A quick tip: You don´t need to buy two SL-cards. It´s enough to buy one card, load it up with tickets and then select the choice "Gruppresa" (Group travel) when entering the underground/busses/tram.

You can also use the app instead of a card, which is more practical for some people as you can buy whatever ticket (up to 7 days) you want at the moment without having to go to a machine or a store to load it up :)

Actually, instead of Arlanda Express, if you have an SL card already, you can take a city bus to Marsta and then to Stockholm. You will save some money on the Arlanda fee if you have some more free time to journey in such way

you can use your sl card too get too arlanda airport you can use commuter trains too märsta and there change too bus 579 or 583 that can get you too the airport but it takes longer 50 minutes and with arlanda express 20 minutes

PS you can take direct commuter train that going towards uppsala and go off the train at arlanda but you have too pay extra cost

Les stations de métro sont hélas décorées avec un très mauvais goût. un goût étrange qui défiguré ces stations ,qu on aurait mieux fait de laisser en béton au lieu de ses absurdités qu on nomme art .dommage .
