Do you like Treble Charger? Their early stuff was a little too indie for my tastes, but when Wide Awake Bored came out in 2000, they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "American Psycho", a song so catchy most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should! Because it's not just a dig at shallow and vapid celebrities, as well as people willing to stab others in the back for personal gain, it's also a personal statement about the band itself!
I was Rosie and Trevor's tech for the last 2 years of TC. Funnest bunch of guys to work for. We had adventures, mis-adventures, laughs, almost fisticuffs, almost tears of laughter, heartbreak, stress, surprises, something called a Hoogie, and a lifetime of memories in just those 2 years I was with them. Cheers Rosie, Trevor, Greig, Bill, Andrew, Jeramy (didn't think I'd actually out ya directly did ya?) and Daryll. Miss you all.
I remember downloading this on WinMX when I was 9 after playing NHL 2002. I looked at the "168kbp/s" bitrate indicator being written in green, thinking it was amazing high quality audio. And then years of dancing and singing to this song down in my parent's basement ensued.
I remember being little & listening to this song with my sister. Heard it on the radio the other day & instantly recognized it. Hard to believe this song came out almost 13 years ago...
Rcshoop papa roach, zebrahead, fall out boy, panic at the disco and sooo many more. I got a playlist of 300 punk/grunge/metal songs from the 90's and early 2000's
I’ve been fortunate enough to get to spend some time on stage playing in a small band doing covers with Mr Bill Priddle, and man….he’s given me such a gift as of late, and all because he’s letting me learn about him. What a great artist, I will meet Greg soon. I must. They’re from my home town, and they’re back here and I love it. It took a month before the depth of Bill being a platinum selling recording artist, actually fell on me. I feel blessed to enjoy my musical journey with such a great artist, and respect all he’s done and continues to do…..grow! My band was supposed to open for them in the 90’s but we got screwed because our singer was a dick. Lol. I’m making up for lost time! 😂❤❤
