  • This is probably a 5 out of 10 on the difficulty scale. If you have a little mechanical ability, a good work area and a little patience you can do this.

Always a good option to rebuild especially if a good gasket kit is available. That way you still get OEM body and everything comes back to factory-new. Great job Bill. I see you are heading for 1,000,000 Subscribers. Great job. PS....I'm right there in your rear view mirror

The blower doesn't sound as cool as the weedeater.
If you don't have an ultrasonic, just throw a carb on it, no matter what people say, they last as long and work as well as the stock ones... they can be more susceptible to bad gas, drain it before storing it, and it's fine

That is definitely a classic blower from back in the day middle 80s or early 90s.

It's going to hang around for a while as my garage blower 👍

I cant believe you found another dirty carb Bill!! 😂lol. I like the hand held blowers better than backpack blowers. I have a Stihl BG86. 👍🎥🇺🇸 #BandAid

I am telling ya, the carb is almost always the problem. 🙂
I am the other way around, I like my backpack, it's like a portable tornado. (Husqvarna 150, kawasaki motor)

My Echo is the size of the 85 Stihl but has the LN (low noise) end of the numbers, whatever they are and the different carb that has the cable and goes up and down with a needele like a motorcycle slide. You have to drill out the center to get to the adjustment. Teeney tiny screw in the middle. It started easier than the Stihl this time. 2nd pull. GOOD blower. Used them before I got mine but the Stihl was 1st from the trash man. Got one for each hand now. Hope you aren't scorched out yet. Got 1/2 inch rain last night and trying to clear back off. Wash some of the pollen down. Stay cool, Pal! Listen to the better half!

Like a Mikuni carb? I haven't seen that but would love to! It's not bad in Texas... yet. I ran the convertible with the top down to the hardware store this morning(I only needed little stuff that fit in the tiny little truck 🤣 )

@@GuysPlayingWithTools 10/4 on the tiny truck! May be a Mikuni. I got this thing years ago. They were going to put it in rental and I got a good deal on it. Toots used to use it maybe 2ice a year, maybe. She got the KObalt which suits her. That Echo could use a little more gas but does fine with Tru-fuel for me. You'd get to grin big and pull it apart. See how you are! Stay cool, palley. Thanks for the videos. House garage got a free battery job. I told him to try it out good so he'd know hisself how it'd do. Best way to learn. Thanks, Buddy!
