I myself have a lovely R18 Classic and I have not had any Mobility or turning issues, Im constantly in the twisty roads and the bike does well. Its not a canyon carver by any means but corners very well
I'll stick with my 04 midnight edition r1150r, no buffering the smoothest riding bike I've had in my 57 years of riding. I can out corner most sport bikes with 3x my torque. The 1150 series was the last of the solid Bimmers before abs & electronics ruined EVERYTHING.
Rather than having all those plastic parts attached everywhere did you look into a Memphis Shades Batwing fairing with a 9 inch (curved windshield)? I put one on a 2005 Honda VTX 1800n and it was solid and functioned perfectly.
I’ve got the Wunderlich batwing and the small screen, I get clean air in my helmet. I tried the bigger screen but it buffets me, so I swapped back to the small one
I know you’re kidding but I have tried that and it’s the smoothest airflow out of everything I’ve tried! Wind blast is a lot but I’m actually looking forward to pulling the windshield off again next summer.

Thanks. I agree. I like to hang out a toe and just glide my boot across the pavement on tight turns.
An excellent choice of bike and modifications. 👍👍
Thanks! I just added two more little winglets on the crash bars and all buffeting is now gone. Probably will do an update video soon.

Hmmm. Interesting. I’ll check it out!

Did the same with my Road King. Memphis Shades has some really good products
Thanks! I’ll look into that.

You are funny... Good job, great deal. Keep riding as long as U can.
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Thank you! I will!
Put a six foot long plexiglass over the top and add a couple wheels
Did you try removing the windshield entirely, lol.

@@QuentinsMotoVlog Cheers Quentin! I've had windshields in the past and hated the buffeting. The solution was to take it off.
That looks hideous. Congratulations
@@DM-ci2nn yeah, I agree. I’ve gone the other way lately, to a minimal in-the-wind approach.
