- Blackpool Pleasure Beach have PERMANENTLY Closed Grand Prix, ready for a brand new ride, yet to be confirmed! Tango Ice Blast and River Caves have been closed from opening weekend, with River Caves operating for a small time when the park reopened. Ice Blast has no seats and is rusting away with lots of cables that are snipped! Join me for all the latest from pleasure Beach! Whilst this season may not be the best for the park, with a new ride on the radar in the next few days, it looks that Pleasure Beach will be one to look out for the next few seasons! ICON was running great along with Big One, but unfortunately only running one train! Making the queue twice as long. Valhalla is the best dark ride in the UK in my opinion, and was great to get back on for the first time in 2024!
Ghost Train has had a repaint and a new soundtrack!
The Hub area plays the euro's!

Something about the excitement of the air blasting sound and screams from Ice Blast as you enter the park is brilliant and would be missed. It was awesome and a UK first when it opened in '97, its height really complimented the Big One. Huge crowds were gathered round as I took my first ride at night that same first year (back when the public were allowed in for free) a magical memory, it was terrifying too!
Take out Ice Blast and there’s room for a magnificent fountain 😂
I hope they don't get rid of Ice Blast, it's quite a good ride!

A massive new ride for there 130th birthday in 2026? Seeming pretty likely…..And River Caves celebrates its 100th Birthday next year, I’m hoping there really going to give it a massive glow up this winter.

BPB is looking so depressing right now. I don't think I can bring myself to go for my traditional late season visit. Sad :(
very sad to see loas of closed rides and the park not as busy as should be
Ive seen loads of reports saying its gunna be a gyro spinner:(
I went to BPB for the first time in years the other month and thought:
-How tidy the park looked
-How friendly the staff were
-Food & drink was sensibly priced and good
-Rides were amazing.
I’ve been going since I was little in the late 70’s and the park has evolved.
I was free open entry back then and you got gangs of lads causing trouble. They even had cells and their own “police”.
My dad got discounted books of tickets via his work.
Still love the place.
I love the park! I think the future is bright especially with the rumored new coaster! Food is some of the best in the UK especially in LOKI's and the hotels! My favorite park in the UK!
Completely disagree with Ur "there's not much they can do" at ice blast removing ice blast and it's queue line and building completely opens up that area for a ride
Yeah very true, I have a soft spot for shot and drop towers so I kind of hope it stays! It's just I couldn't see pleasure beach replacing it if it was removed, with that much bigger area around Grand Prix.
@@ThemeParkEnthusiast they'll put a coaster where GP was and something like an intamin gyro where ice blast is

They should buy the world’s tallest drop tower that is still up for sale for a bargain price, granted someone died on it but people will still flock to it, they could call it “tower2” in ode to the Blackpool tower, and it being the second tower ride in the location. The gp would love it and it markets itself.

Go invest your money into more staff and another train for the big one and maybe a safety course or if it’s not to your taste or you’re not happy don’t go. No need to make videos complaining and putting folk off
You can’t be real man 😂. A customer always has the right to complain. It’s their hard earned money, so having expectations of any standard is warranted. Especially when the tickets prices are significantly higher than that of the other parks.
Pleasure Beach already have another train. All I was doing was wondering why that train wasn’t operating during a busy day?
