The fact that molestation is a crisis saddens my soul.
Molestation to a child is a big problem because. There was a man on the news and he was a white dude and he molested a 14 year old girl and he was taken to court and he didn't get any jail time.

Underneath everything that lady is a good mother. You know how I know. She said “how could you do this to HER.” meaning her daughter. She didn’t make it all about herself. She didn’t scream that he’d betrayed her. She was devastated for her daughter. We see that so rarely on this show, so many mothers make it about themselves even when they believe their kids.

This is totally similar to my story. I’m autistic and I was violated like that when I was an adolescent. I learned later that more autistic children are being abused because the perpetrators don’t think they’ll get caught.

Agreed. I babysit an autistic 5 year-old and I might come off paranoid but when his single mother told me that she was going to rent out rooms in the home, alarms went off in my brain. I pleaded with her that to do background checks on the people and to be careful. She was careless at times and it gave me major anxiety, so I would always tell her to bring him to me and not let him stay with the others in the home and to not rely on them. Months later she rented a room to a man. She told me that the guy was very playful, always hugged him, and sat him on his lap. I said that’s not acceptable and got a weird feeling. She told me that she walked into one of the vacant rooms to the man kissing her son on the lips, touching him, potentially wanting to rape him because he thought she wasn’t home and he also knew that he was autistic and was not going to say anything. It’s absolutely disgusting. I felt sick to my stomach, cried, and was angry. I have no idea if the man touched him before that disgusting incident because he doesn’t speak much and it breaks my heart. I’m so sorry that happened to you. It’s gross how people take advantage this way.

I'm so glad she actually put him in jail, her reaction to the results had me a little concerned. She actually got a recording of him admitting to molesting her child and presented it to police. Good for her!

As someone who was diagnosed with high functioning autism and suffered sexual abuse from my birth father, this sickens me as I was afraid all of my youth that my birth father would do something to my siblings or hurt my mother, I kept my mouth shut and just refused to tell anyone about the abuse. Mainly because of fright for what could happen, but also because I have a hard time voicing my problems as I tend to sound unbothered by things because I don't show emotions like "normal" people do. It wasn't until after he passed away in 2019 that I finally got the courage to tell anyone about it. I urge people to make sure no one hurts you or your loved ones.

It's hard enough for neurotypical individuals alone, but with those amongst us that are "On The Spectrum", it often feels like hell on earth! Even if the mother doesn't notify authorities it is heavily likely that the Steve Wilkos production team organized something with local police once the lie detector results came back and said he lied, and even if she doesn't pursue it the only thing that will result in is the child being taken from both parents and the predator hopefully going to jail.

The mom is NOT going anywhere. She knew he was guilty. Once the truth came out, she was basically begging for him to come up with excuses for why the test came out that way. He wants a reason to stay, and he will lie behind the scenes so she can keep him around. His is a monster, but she's one, too; just a dumb selfish one.
That's why I think mothers should be charged too. If the father is not biological, the mothers should be charged. There was a case where the boyfriend murdered a 2 year old daughter and the mother was charged (I think manslaughter). I can't remember the exact details but the show was about a lawyer trying to appeal her conviction. I whole heartedly disagreed at the time. She was exactly where she deserved to be.

People who never had any kids before in their life might think it is as easy as calling the police on someone for touching their child, but the truth is that if the child is still living in that house when the police come to arrest the molester child protective services will be there too to take the child and put them in foster care. It's always a stickey situation.

She was literally fucking crying.
I "seemed calm" when I found out my ex did it to our very young daughter. I questioned her momentarily to make sure she knew what she was talking about. Then I calmly called her school counselors (it was about 7pm.) left a message, so she would have someone to talk to about it when she got to school the next day if she needed to get more off her chest (asked her permission to tell them first). Then I called police- that was when I broke down crying. I didn't become angry until after all the crying, after police left. I was just too shocked.

It always pisses me off to learn some of these guys failing for touching children, let alone their own. But when it involves a child on the Autism Spectrum, it specifically makes me angrier deep inside. I have autism, I'm 20, I've been mistreated before (not to the specific degree like here), and it always hurts. For me, it tends to be traumatizing, and I'm not very good with controlling my emotions. I can barely imagine what this little girl is going through and what's going in her head. @emilyannthevioletghost715, as a man "On The Spectrum" who WAS sexually abused at age 7, I wholeheartedly identify with you! The effects of sexual abuse, on a neurotypical person, are bad enough! However, on an autistic individual like myself, the effects are horrendous and lifelong in virtually every case! Hopefully, these monsters will eventually get a massive dose of their own medicine as they'll eventually BURN FOREVER IN THE FIRES OF HELL!

As a sexual abuse survivor myself who's also autistic, I would believe the child when he/she says that they were abused, if I was a parent, because odds are that children will not lie about something this serious!
