What I like about our world champ is how often he plays and in all kinds of formats, even against mere amateurs like us. He's a great champion, long may he reign.
That guy got Carlsen out of prep pretty quickly. There's not really much point in opening prep for under 2000s. They play nonsense in the openings. It's not good, bit it's also not prepped for. You'll get maybe 10 moves of theory in well trodden lines the higher you go.

I think he was cheating as well. Magnus Probably started realizing it in the middle game. I started to notice more after he played b6 and nd4+ and the daring King march to the middle. I don't know Magnus Carlsen personally so I would never jugde his social behaviour - no chance. But I really love seeing the boredom of a World Champion facing No-names... this is just great! The pure proof that being a World Champion is essential to being superior to your league and yourself shows the necessity of having a world champion within every small part of the compeition.. That's why we love this game so much. You know because he takes 5 seconds to play every move, including recapturing his queen, and some very difficult decisions. That and the fact that the moves are all stockfish best moves. People who don't know chess don't understand how low the chances are of following all computer moves in a moderately complicated game like this, with only 5 minutes.
I could actually see him do it now. He showed us he's still hungry for chess and can compete, if not dominate, in blitz at the highest level. This would be fun to him and not require any preparation. Plus, Kasparov loves to teach.

By far one of the best instructional chess video I have ever seen and too from world champion Magnus Carlson ! He revealed his calculation powers very beautifully. To a 1400 rated player like me it was a huge help.
24:29 is my favorite game of the Banter Blitzes. Opponent plays one questionable move in the opening and gets totally demolished, finishing by being mated with almost all of his pieces still on the board.
Whenever Chess24 has a high profile guest streamer like Magnus, or recently Sasha Grischuk, they seem to struggle with the interface, in particular with viewing the list of challenges and then selecting one. I hope you will have a software update soon that will simplify this aspect of streaming on your site.

I put the game through stockfish analysis and Magnus played nearly perfect. Had 7 centipawn loss and the engine cheater had 9. Pretty incredible.
