She has no say in the cast of a movie. That's on the director. If she stands on that principle she cannot act in any movies. She can choose not to act against a predator but if she goes for every side character that she will have to stop her career. Uruvasi also acted in that movie. Again why must women take a stand always? Why is he still cast in a movie?

Dhanya, the issue of privacy and non revelation of names by Justice Hema could be after careful scrutiny and study. Consider a hypothetical situation of one of the perpetrator's name being revealed. This could mean that the alleged perpetrator can file a counter petition accusing the complainant of defamation. This could potentially reveal the complainant details too out in the public and you understand how much of emotional, legal and psychological turmoil the complainant will have to go through. Remember that our justice system works on the principle of innocent until proven guilty and it is upon the complainant to prove the allegations with strong proof. Umpteen cases like Dileep‘s have shown to be counterproductive.
And I'm personally not in favor of revealing it partially... Ellam ang public aavatte.... Parvathy is saying they face online trolling but as far as I see most of the comments here ( from men as well ) as bashing the guys only.... so even if there will be negativity... there would be a lot of support as well
@@thesarasohrabi . As the time progresses from the real crime , the material evidences also vanish. The best time to report a crime is always within 1 second to few hours of the crime. For an incidence like rape and sexual harassment the time will always play an important factor! This is different from a crime committed say just a while ago !

Congratulations to Parvathy and WCC for achieving this. As she said, can the govt ensure the safety of women coming forward with complaints ? I don't think so. I'm afraid the change is gonna be slow. the power lies with the old generation (represented by the govt and seniors in movies) has to be handed over to/taken over by well informed and empowered youth and things might change. I remember during the metoo movement, several women from the Tamil film industry had accused one celebrity for sexual harassment. Unfortunately nothing was done and to make matters worse one of the women has been banned from dubbing work till now. Victim was punished and accused is still working in the Tamil film industry. Parvathy Mentally I was a supporter of yours the day you formed WCC and the pain you have taken since 2017 onwards. No one else can do so to fight against the cinema gangsters.
Really appreciate Parvathy and her team to have come forward opening up without any inhibitions. It is high time that men, who consider women as their entertainment object. be brought to justice and give proper punishment so THAT will be a good lesson learned for the new younger generation boys, growing up, to treat women respectfully.
The fear to talk against Judiciary is very much there. Judiciary is the real culprit in most of the sexual harassment cases. In February 2017 case and many cases followed, the government has put the justice system in action going against the big guns and the judiciary has delayed the process into unbelievable levels. Otherwise, Parvathy’s position is strong and up to the point. With regard to Mafia, film industry is by its nature prone to mafia culture just like the nepotism culture. Only by creating an alternative or counter culture, you can weaken this mafia. Just like the new crop of film makers and actors creating their own production houses with the modern work culture is the only hope.
There should be one more disclaimer necessary while screening movies from now on “No human beings are sexually assaulted or mistreated during the making of this film” (in addition to the current “No animals are harmed during the making of this film”)

Also if you notice the title youtube channels are creating ever since this report came out. "Did you know who knocked the door in night? The hardships faced by this female acteess during shooting of a particular movie, shocking revelations out. Such title are used to make people click TH-cam channel to get viewership
Hats of to Parwathy for taking the initiative and leadership to cleanse the Malyalam film industry. Kudos to all these women for fighting against the sexual abuse and gender discrimination committed by powerful men in the industry. Other Indian film industries should initiate such things also. I remember during the metoo movement, several women from the Tamil film industry had accused one celebrity for sexual harassment. Unfortunately nothing was done and to make matters worse one of the women has been banned from dubbing work till now. Victim was punished and accused is still working in the Tamil film industry. Where is the justice🤷♀️

It is high time that men, who consider women as their entertainment object. be brought to justice and give proper punishment so THAT will be a good lesson learned for the new younger generation boys, growing up, to treat women respectfully.
The fear to talk against Judiciary is very much there. Judiciary is the real culprit in most of the sexual harassment cases. In February 2017 case and many cases followed, the government has put the justice system in action going against the big guns and the judiciary has delayed the process into unbelievable levels. Otherwise, Parvathy’s position is strong and up to the point. With regard to Mafia, film industry is by its nature prone to mafia culture just like the nepotism culture. Only by creating an alternative or counter culture, you can weaken this mafia. Just like the new crop of film makers and actors creating their own production houses with the modern work culture is the only hope.
