When I started viewing my house care tasks as my job it became so much easier to rip off guilt when I cudnt do it all. You simply do it the following day like in professional environment if it’s not an urgency.

The beginning of this video is also a recipe for hardship! The pandemic, moving away from any family and just leaving the workforce for a new job (motherhood) is tough! Let alone just having 1 baby. You had twins! Those things alone are hard and it seems like you got hit with a combination of it all. I think it’s admirable that you’ve done what you have!

Thank you so much Tierni - I really appreciate the kind words. Also when I think about it all together like you’ve written out you’re so right, it was a lot all at once! 🤗xox

Dear Natalie, I’ve been following you for for some time and I always find something that resonates with me in your videos. A month ago I had my twin boys. The first week was a pure bliss. I could see how my family got closer and happier, we just couldn’t believe our happiness. Then things became harder, as the boys started having colics. My mom came to help me and I appreciate it so much. Don’t know how I would survive. I’m struggling with milk supply as well. Evening times I don’t have enough for them, so trying to supplement a bit with formula. I noticed that my mindset has changed drastically. I became irritable and have been complaining about my days now. I still feel very much happy inside, but ppl mostly hear me complaining over how little things I’m able to do during a day:) Sleep deprivation probably adds to this too. But it’s so easy to be negative during this time.

Yes, organising designated areas for stuff is so helpful. I want to put baskets with baby stuff (swaddles, burp clothes, wipes ets) in rooms where I spend time with my boys, or some kind of islands. Cluttering is so distressing. I feel so much better with less stuff and when I know where things are, especially at night time.

I feel a much more happier person when I get to have a shower and put a moisturiser/serum on my face. Or when I get to go out to buy groceries and see other ppl lol :) Or when the kids sleep and I can have a cup of coffee with my husband. I
      Small things count.

I also get so much inspiration from channels like Jady A (New Jersey based mom of 5), Gemma (mom of triplets from Ireland), Claire (UK, she talks about meal planning and frugal living). Meal planning has changed my life btw. So happy I did it before my birdies arrived, I really recommend Claire’s channel for that.

Great job with the video. I am a mum of 3. It wasn't until the the third child that I actually started loving motherhood. I also always felt judged everytime I tried to express it or get help. Everything you have said makes sense. I have been trying to work on some of these things too. But thank you for sharing this. I'm sure it wasn't easy. ❤️

Hey Aarthi, thank you for sharing this too. It isn’t easy to love motherhood straight away …. Either you think you should love it or you think you naturally will just love it but time teaches us to evolve and things are constantly changing that’s for sure. Now I just wish time would slow down 😊 xox

I am not even through your video and having twin boys 16 months old I can so relate to the ‘no time for nothing and always distracted’ feelings:-)……but I love the mindset from I have to ….to I get to…..gonna try remember that!🌸

Thank you Ansu I hope the mindset tip helps you as it’s really helped me if I’m having a hard day or moment! Thanks for watching and letting me know you can relate - means a lot 🤍
