The Everly brothers are criminally underrated. They’re one of my favorite bands from the Early 50s-60s love bomb style of music. They’re right up there with Elvis IMO.
Great piece of informational history. All it took was 1 chord & 1 word - DREAM, to put a smile on my face & happy feeling in my soul. Thanks Norm. Happy Sunday Everyone. 😎🙏🏼✌️
Norm you have a Great voice don’t sell you self short… Keep on Keeping on and thank you for all the Talent / Beautiful instruments you have Bring and have Brung…. Thank you
In another video on this channel from a couple weeks ago, which also had this guitar in it, Norman said this was also the guitar Phil smashed at Knott’s Berry Farm in 1973, which ended their career as a duo until 1983 when they reunited for a couple of years. Such an amazing piece of history that guitar is, I’d love to own it lol

Again, a history lesson and a view of one of the cornerstones of rock culture . Imagine what that guitar has seen. Bravo Norm
That guitar needs to be in the Rock Hall
hall of fame!
Huge historic significance, and a beautiful instrument.
I’m glad Jen is back , she has a ton of want, gets the best out of you Norman, thanks BigAl California.
Norm is an American Icon. Imagine being cooler than the instruments you've collected. What a wonderful world WWE live in.
Priceless. The Everly Brothers were all that. Thanks Norm

Even when you played simple chords on that guitar, it sounded so sweet!
I did not know Norm had this guitar. It's in good hands.
The first song I remember cottoning onto when I was a kid back in '50s was Bye Bye Love, so it goes. Cheers Norm, such good history, love it !!
If you let me play that guitar I would cry like a baby. I'm a huge Everly Brothers fan!!!
Only Norm can nonchalantly pop out a guitar from one of the Everly Brothers. way cool Norm
Thanks for sharing Norm!!

@GoudLoodje
This is not that guitar. Photos and info from a bandmate confirm the guitar at KBF was a different one.
Norm is really taking the lead now on the channel! Great!
Good work Norm. Enough of dreaming. Cool. Better than me another who grew up eatching and listening to two others. Kentucky man
What a treasure!
Just a suggestion...
Why don't you donate it to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum. It's a piece of history that should be preserved and shared.
Nice!
Wow!! Fantastic!!
Great Norman !
Hand it to Jen and have her play a song….🎉
Lovely Norm!
Sister Suzi, brother John, Martin Luther, Phil & Don. When’s McCartney going to the couch at Norm’s ?
Wowwwww
So Norm…tell the story about John Fogerty’s Rickenbacker.
Many people dont realise they were both great guitar players
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
❤
Can you imagine watching something on tv and going…….oh, I own that exact guitar 🤣
Phil and Don everly were both great musicians
Wasn’t this show shown 3 years ago ??
Nice
Interesting ❤
I thought they gave that guitar to Albert Lee..? Nonetheless, what an instrument!
I think Albert Lee used to be really into Everly brothers guitars.
No Audio 🤔
How much for this 100k ??
Hey Smithsonian what's your price?
Norm is one half of The Utterly Brothers 🐄
Is it for sale?
I’m gonna guess yes. But us poor people need not inquire. Norm probably won’t sell it at a discount.
More pickguard!
😂😂😂
How much, asking for a friend😂
If you gotta ask you can,t afford it ,,,lol
👌😉
So that manager cut off his nose to spite his face. He lost a ton of royalties
