  • Using a Graco airless paint sprayer is the fastest way to paint while achieving professional results. We sprayed an entire room in under 5 1/2 minutes with the Magnum Project Painter Plus. Think you could get the job done that fast with a brush or roller?

I don’t mind the prep but my X5 makes a huge mess. Even at low pressure half the paint goes on the wall and the other half just stays in the air in the air and lands on the walls and floor as a sticky dust. I haven’t figured out how to spray a room without a cloud of paint lingering in the room.

@@Lost1st as long as you use the proper spray tip for each job and type of paint I havent had to back roll anything. ALWAYS strain your paints every time before using them and keep the gun moving as even as you can. If you get any heavy areas or runs/drips, which is perfectly normal, you can back roll them or brush them out. Its better to do 2 light-medium coats than 1 heavy also. Good luck👍👍

It evens it out. Gives it a consistent texture. When it's sprayed, it is very inconsistent in how much is applied to different areas. Where the spray overlaps, it will be heavier and there will be lighter areas just due to the nature of spraying. If you look at an angle in daylight, you'll see every sweep of the spray. If it's not dead flat paint, where it's heavier, will be shinier. No competent painter will not backroll!
