I love this tool, such a satisfying feeling when you complete a project, the cleaning on the other hand can take a good minute.

You were so good at helping understand the entire process and the paint cures beautifully.

I've watched just about every video out there to do with these sprayers and i can say with confidence that your video is the most insightful and detailed! Thank you for the amazing content :)

    Great video, I've
been mulling over buying one of these as I like the superior finish of spraying over brush or roller, thanks for the info and keep up the good work.

Thank you for such a great detailed tutorial. I appreciate your attention to detail and patience. I feel much more confident to using mine for the first time. I usually just use the small grace airless. Painting is not my forte but I am trying to hone my craft and this sprayer is going to help so many ways when I don’t have to worry about running extensions for just a door or two. Appreciate again the tutorial. Keep em coming!

    - Cleaning this thing is the most fun I've ever had.
    - When spraying thick latex paint (the good stuff) you MUST thin the paint around 10% - otherwise it will clog the 60 mesh internal filter. As far as external filtering is concerned, Graco sells a nifty reusable attachable funnel/filter system for this sprayer.
    - If you have money to burn, opt for the Graco Quick Shot (currently much more expensive, but a decided improvement over the TC Pro line). My use as a DIYer didn't justify that.
    - Get an extra (outer) cup and have it filled and ready to go as a backup.
    - The hassle with cleanup (yeah, I was kidding) you may feel is worth it when painting things with lots of 90-degree angles (corner boards, etc.) where paint gets globbed on the edges. That drives me crazy. For me the hassle and expense was worth it. I picked up this unit "refurbished" (eBay) for $419. Like many things sold as refurbs that I buy, it was actually brand-new.
    - Whether sold as TC Pro or Ultra or whatever, all these battery units are the same, with interchangeable tips. They're just named differently according to what company (Home Depot, for example) is selling them.
    - Sell your house and buy one with a mop sink/utility sink as seen above. Do it now before you tackle one more paint project.
    - You think she's going overboard with the cleaning? That mindset and the quality of her work (wow) go hand-in-hand.

Came here to say the same. The Graco Quick Shot is as good as this unit is bad. The unit in this video is not great at lower pressures, which are ideal for FFLP tips (and thus furniture). It's also heavy for a 6'3" 220 LB guy. Can't imagine it would be fun for smaller people.

Utility (slop) sink is also a good idea. But instead of buying a new house, why not have one installed in your existing house?

You can run water thru it. Without the cup, hold it upside down, fill the small area where the cup attaches with water, activate the unit. You can even have the water running slowly while doing this.

You need to upgrade to a blue Rac X guard so you can use Graco Fine Finish LP tips. You will be happier with using less paint and less overspray. I own 2 of these and the upgrade to those tips is Amazing.

Great video. I just bought a Graco TC Pro from Lowe's and it only comes with one battery and charger for like 691 tax included. I have a shed and some rooms that i like to paint. Hopefully i don't run through alot of paint for these small projects 😊. Thank you for sharing.

Should have bought it from home depot, $578, comes with 2x20v batteries. Return it to Lowes, get one at HD.

Excellent video. All the steps, inclusive of the arduous cleaning. I have one of these and the only thing I would add is that finding the proper spray tip for the job at hand can be very stressful, especially when the one you are using turns out to have the wrong spray pattern, or wrong flow rate. I think Graco does a terrible job presenting tip sizes at the various retailers and an even worse job identifying them and the related spray properties within the manual that comes with the tool.

When you are doing your rinsing out, if you just take the whole cup off with a 1/4 turn, you don't have to unscrew the top every time

Great video. Don’t drain paint into your sewer - over time it will coat your pipes and could clog after a while. Especially if the home is on septic - can ruin the drain field. I dump mine into a bucket and drain in the woods behind the house.

wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of going Cordless, Compact and Flexibility?
a Toyota Prius can maneuver through a fast food drive thru more easily than a Ford F-450 Dually with a 16' dual axle trailer behind it.
