Quick tip for anyone doing this the 3 bolt puller will rip the threads out of the holes if the pulleys stuck so get the spider type puller and it will be much easier, only a few dollars more and will save you a massive headache
Hey T-Mike, love watching your videos. I noticed the camera mirrors everything in the first part of the video then goes to normal. I thought mine was different being a 10 hp but then I saw it was correct. Just something to watch for if someone was confused like I was for a bit.
Love you T would all of these multimeter number/settings be the same on a 1984 4hp seahorse. Im new and im trying to diagnose bad parts in the magneto.

T-Mike use a small chrome pointer on magneto instructions and fine parts and all. Great instructions.
I hope BRP will soon fix their faulty points production. For now I just clean up the old points.
Does timing not matter when changing points?
That is timing for spark.
@@michaeljsimon so this is my first outboard. 1967 Johnson and I have to change the points. Any tips? What I should watch out for? And what not to do?

Hi t mike, I have a 1963 evinrude big twin 40hp, would the air gap alignment tool be the same diameter for my application?
Yes
So Question, how can someone set the coils "without" The tool??
Use a screwdriver to make edges flush.
Would you happen to have points for a three horsepower nineteen fifty seven buccaneer outboard motor
