These beautiful two dancers, Mayara Magri & Claire Calvert, performing the dance of the big swans in The Royal Ballet production of Swan Lake! I am so excited for this stunning ballet to be back on the Royal Opera House stage and to see this incredible company take to the stage!
This particular dance in the ballet is one of my favourites! These two dance it so beautifully with such synchronicity as if it is one person dancing. It’s a stunning piece to watch and to see how they interact with each other and us, the audience! So much emotion in the movement but remain so focused with impeccable technical abilities. The way they make the allegro look so light and easy is amazing and they really perform this so well!
