It is very likely it will come with region specific charge ports. it was a pre-production model with Chinese infotainment system.
If Chinese manufacturers were to dominate the market will they just decide what standards to follow.
@@Tom-bp6no But they dont dominate the market and just like Tesla has basically set the de-facto standard in the US with the NACS, CCS-2 is the standard here in Europe. There is a reason why all the other mainstream Chinese brands like Nio, Xpeng, MG etc all use CCS-2.
I agreed. CCS2 is a must-have for the EU market, just like NACS in the US. Maybe it's because this is a demo/prototype vehicle?

We had this and the Z in the uk at a show last year, both myself and my son (who’s 6) loved this Y, the doors are cool, also the massage on the Z was insane!
Sunburn is not an issue in China; the air pollution is so thick, you often cannot even see the sun; and even when you can; almost no UV gets through.
I spent an entire summer in southern China, I used NO sunblock, and came home paler than I went out.

@@bandwsf Please, I am not stupid, so visibility has gone from 1Km to 2KM at times; that is not really an improvement. Even officially sanctioned videos of Beijing; taken under the BEST weather conditions and at night - cannot hide the pollution created haze.

when the roof/door opened, its really dangerous for kids or elder because the half of pilar C is still there and it look like that pillar attrack kids to put their hand on that pillar, you can cleary see at 07:09 how close it is with sit position

difficult to charge? No problem. Simply attach a harness and pony and you have a great collective lane cart with amazing comfort. (N.B Oats and hay not included. )

With European import tariffs on Chinese cars it will be hard to get a 25k car.
They are already twice as expensive in Europe compared to china.

My question to the world is, why are so many people wanting such huge, heavy SUV vehicles on the road? Besides being nearly twice the weight of an average car just 10 years ago, what is going wrong?
Also, the damage these heavy cars do on roads, will they be taxed like trucks in the future? That at least would help pay for the road repairs a bit.
You should do some research on how vehicle weight affects roads, I did a while ago and think it was something like weight-per-axle^2 so a 2x as heavy EV does 4x the damage but trucks weigh 16x per axle so do 256x the damage. The roads won't be damaged much faster than they already are by trucks.
On weight though I agree. I would like it if we collectively chose 40-50kwh packs instead of 100kwh packs. The charging infrastructure is good enough now.

Yes, too much dead weight hauled from A to B, each and every day/time it's driven. Really a huge waste of energy.
In the old days the V8 with only 160hp let's say using over double the gas as a Japanese car used, had a similar problem then. But as long as gas was cheap, not too many cared. Once prices went up, suddenly people started to care...

Would you do anymore of the camping videos in the arctic circle, it was a good mix of entertainment value and also how the car performs practically in those scenarios, was a great video format

Washer fluid cap on the inside of the frunk compartment so if you spill it will go down into the frunk hole. And you always spill.

@@gantenbeinable well, the exterior button automatically opens both top and side. Maybe there's a ctrl-alt-delete option that opens just the side door but default seems to be both.

Nonsense design. The likelihood of major mechanical faults is enormous. This car without all the gaudy features would actually be nice. So, in a rain or snow shower, you're going to open the back door and soak the interior, great. Give me the model X any day.
I guess they can use the rain sensor and open only the door part and not the roof?

Hello Bjørn. You always are doing a great job. I'm sorry to tell this story, which of course not is a criticism of your fantastic great reviews. But it's importent to remember that the Chinese car export for Europe are getting illegal state subsidies where the goal is to take down the European car indistry there also much other industry will follow. And in a normal range this will also affect Norwegian exportindustry and the goal is to reduce the standard of living in Europe to make people angry of the authorities that govern the countries but also in Norway. This is only a small part of today's history of the China which I love as people and country, and I'm so sorry that they have got a dictator and has been a autocracy. Of course this hurts me bad, but the grand politics in this is even more scary.
