I'd love to see a trash to treasure upgrade series on this kit
But this is not trash
Just a paint job means the world to this kit. I've painted it long time ago and everything with it changes a lot. Just adding details changes this kit so, so much. I wish we'd get a RE100 of this guy though as for such a large kit an MG would be too expensive. But yeah, it would look great comparing it to Nightingale in terms of size as they're both big, over the top kits.

See this is a kit that definitely needs a newer hg release or some rg love to it. I love the devil gundam but I'm not that skilled to customize it ( or have the time ) so it can be more articulate
As far as RG of this thing would look super nice, with all those separate pieces and panel lines, it would propably cost like PG. HG this guy, and RG God Gundam.
"FUN FACT" @ 2:11 the reason the model list G-04 (which is gundam rose) wasn't listed on the side of the box is because in japanese superstision "4" is a unlucky number for badluck it is sometimes pronounced as "shi" is a word for "death"
I wish Bandai would consider releasing HGFC version of G Gundam's outrageous suits.
I mean, they did Devil Army, so...
But anyway they did that because of the build divers re: rise thingy

What I would love is a Master Grade version of this mobile suit. Mainly for the open and alternate cockpit options. I really REALLY loved the final episodes of G Gundam. Been hard to rewatch the series from episode 1 just having to wait to watch said episodes.
The Devil Gundam is by far my favorite Gundam out there its such a shame theres no graded kits for this beast 💔 Imagine a master grade kit for this thing they could do so much 😭

Master Asia taught me that if I'm going to be the master of anything it better be the master of the north, west, east, south, and center. Not to mention that I should strive to become Super Asia.

Not a model kit, but my favorite version of the Devil Gundam was the one released here in America, I think it's the MSIA line officially, that came out in the early 2000's. Fully articulated, option parts, and was HUGE
I'd love to see a series on either of the Rising Gundam kits or one of the 00 1/100s like the Tieren as well ^.^
This has such interesting proportions to it, it'd be really interesting to see a kitbash done with some of these parts
Lot of works here, love it to make it wild with some detail additioning.
G Gundam is excellent because it doesn't take itself too seriously. I remember having tons of the various toys from the MSIA line when i was growing up.

g gundam is a cool 80-90s anime, like many anime from that era. sums up my childhood lol
They really need to make a updated version of this Gundam.
This kit and several others from G Gundam deserve more love and updated MG versions.
I agree with it's potential, It could look pretty cool just by detailing out all the void areas . I could see using the legs on a MG mod as well. I'd buy it.
You were forgetting Gundam Rose. The French fighter. That was also one of the people in the Hero Team. I believe that was number 9

For those wondering which one is missing (and also noticed that Nr. 4 is missing which was Gundam Rose), Nr. 9 is 'Rising Gundam'.
There is no old Nobell/Nobel/Noble Gundam.

I love this gundam regardless of the hate it gets..I touched mine up with some paint markers...still not completely screen accurate but it looks close enough...I glued the faceplate in place to cover up those leg joints...I mostly keep it in head mode
Was thinking of getting this for the lels (putting it on a Transformers Titans Return Fortress Maximus replacing the head) but there's just too much work to get the colors to beworth it for a casual like me(that massive white top of the head/buttplate part)
I have the God Gundam of this line and it has the same issues. I'm totally reshaping it and now is cut in a million of pieces. I should'nt do it now it's a mess.
But I still think that the Devil Gundam is special! And it deserve to be build because unique and menacing.
I think that the only big issue are the empty spaces! If a modeler fill that spaces with shapes and spare parts it immediately looks good!
I saw people on twitter wotking on this kit too and they are doing miracles!
This is weird. I had this kit back in the day and I distinctly remember the "spine" being jellow and the feet as well, now they are different colors...
Maybe you had the MSiA figure and not the kit?
I actually got this kit about a month back, still haven't opened it, and after seeing this, I think I won't, not until I get an air brush. Although it would be amazing if Bandai decided to produce a new HG mold for the Devil Gundam

The only thing I can see this mobile suit being any good for would be, being a Sentry at a factory or something like that. Just strap some guns on it and leave it as a guard to the door of your facility. Does not look like it’s very flexible nor have the ability to “fight”, looks too cumbersome on my opinion. That being said however, the suit appears to have tons of space to add panel line detail galore much like a Sazabi

this guy really needs an HGFC treatment so bad, plus it is one of the more outlandish Gundam designs so it will sell well.

I'm really happy that Bandai decided to reproduce these old kits. I really want to experience how it was to be a Gunpla builder in the old times. Although, why did they consider to sell it again though. What's the reason behind it?
I wish bandai will make an rg kit for this with so many small parts that are loose and easily lost. That will really live up to its name as devil gundam.

I had to google "custom devil gundam" to see whats going on around the world. Seems the very first mod I picked up here is what others are doing.... giving it proper hands (1/100 hands) lol

if I remember right number 9 in the series was the JMF1336R Rising Gundam just a recoloring of the Shining Gundam number 1 in the series. (did have a different weapon from the Shining Gundam)
Had all 10 of them but never have your gunpla in reach of a 5 year old all you will find is broken parts & your sister saying well they are just model kits.
I've had this when I was a kid, and those yellow "screws" are so loose. So for those looking to build this, I highly recommend gluing those parts.
Edit: And as others have said, I would love to see a Trash to Treasure series for this! :D

the closed head of Shining Gundam is very similar to the head of Devil Gundam so I think you could easily just replace the head included with this kit with the closed head from the HG Shining Gundam.

The God Gundam is a pretty strange but interesting mobile suit.
The very first Japanese imported kit I ever ordered from the internet. I had to mail a paper check in a paper envelope with a printed screen shot in order to accomplish this. Also one of the first kits I fully painted (it looks terrible.)
If it had alternate open hands like what shown in the box art. It will massly improve the kit.
G-09 is Rising Gundam. I had those back then in late 90's. Lol

Back when they were the only kits being sold in The Netherlands, I got a 1:100 Wing gundam and a 1:144 (?) Death scythe.
It's what turned me off of gunpla until the PG Unicorn my sister brought with her from Australia.
DCG909 same here hahaha, also from the netherlands, also got a couple wing kits back when wing was on...yourkiddin wasnt it?. For the longest of times I thought that was just how modelkits were. What got me back into gunpla was not a sister getting a perfect grade though haha but seeing a gundam review from zack a couple years back and thinking " huh maybe these got better in the past years...." and bought a mg gm sniper custom and mg f91 2.0 and was completely blown away by both of em :D
They should make a kit for the actual devil gundam that has the multiple limbs
