If Bandai would release MG’s for Rose Gundam or Dragon Gundam I think that would be awesome. I’ve built the Master Gundam and I think it definitely deserves a 2.0 release rather than getting 20 new versions of the Wing
G Gundam has a German ninja while Super Robot Wars: Original Generation has a German samurai who is Sänger Zonvolt, lol.

I'd like to see an RE 1/100 Devil Gundam.
I'd love to see it side by side with a Hi-Res God Gundam.
I think the G-Gundam MG's were a turning point for the MG line with full frames being the main focus so I think that's why they have aged quite well for now decades old kits. And by pure chance I think being on the small side has also helped out with the lack of detail. Plus they are quite cheap so I think that lowers expectations to the point that no one can really be mad about these kits.
Out of all of them Master might be the best but I've never felt like any of them are particularly bad, just dated. If they did a 1.5 without the soft plastic's new hands and some revised parts I'd be more then happy to buy them again.
As for new kits I'd love a Nobel. It's just got so much potential for customising and special editions etc
I honestly don't think the MGFA line really was a big major turning point of the MG line compare to the 2.0s that were coming out around 2006 or 2007 I think. But still the inner frame of the MGFA ain't that bad and are pretty good for its time.
@@leolied6766 actually, they were. These kits were from the 2000s 2001s. At that point, forget about aesthetics, gunplas back then weren't well articulated. You could say that FA frame is kind like an experiment. Notice the line focuses more on the inner frame articulation. Which later given way to kits that have actual articulation and stability which were the 2.0.

I have the God, master Gundam built and I have Spiegel in the backlog. God and master Gundam imo are fantastic and look amazing together. The only bad thing about the master is that it doesn't have a useable cloak. I want more G Gundam MG so bad. My dream MG from G Gundam would be a devil Gundam or a noble for a runner up.
Imagine MG Tequila Gundam. Or RG maybe.
dang that will be the ultimate MG. Remember, bandai has a custom design for Tequilla gundam too, the Daniel custom in build diver.... so......maybe there is a chance of at least HG?

If its the new release thing, Bandai must do the MG Nobel, the Neo America, Neo France, and the ALMIGHTY Windmill, Tequila and Zebra 👌
Woah, I just got this recently and about to build it myself. Honestly I really enjoy how sturdy this old G Gundam MG kits are. Wish they had the rest of the main Gundams. Looking to do some scribing on it to make it pop.
this gundam was my first ever kit at 3 years old, my mom and I built the kit together and is to this day a cherished kit. Its what got me into gundam.
This was my first ever model kit that I built. I have such a soft spot for this kit.
About the design aesthetic; the Spiegel was less a martial arts design than just the German army coat, which has been a staple of uniform design of every German army in the past century; the obvious ancestor is the trench coat from WWI, which was carried over into WWII with some minor changes, and repurposed as the coat for the parade uniform in the Bundeswehr; the NVA coat also has some pretty strong semblances of it.
The six buttons on the chest, dark grey color, bulky/padded shoulders and long backskirt are all callbacks to that, and Schwarz himself is wearing a slightly modified version of it.
I recently bought the 1/100 scale MG Shining Gundam as my introduction into Gunpla and spent a good few days having fun building it. Glad to see G Gundam getting some love as I know they are old kits but they still look awesome to me.
I just have to say, this German officer inspired Gundam has been a timeless favourite of mine, alongside the bulky Russian officer inspired Bolt Gundam. Easily my top 3 (Gundam series) mech designs of all-time with Tallgeese being number one.
Just built the Master Gundam and it’s largely the same experience.
You have a couple of prominent nub marks on the shoulders but the ‘worst’ thing is the wing binders that don’t hold their own weight and the fact that they don’t transform into a cape. They move around and that’s it.
It’s a very dark looking model and there are some awkward gaps.
Overall it’s a genuinely good MG.
All the Gundams are national stereotypes and this one is based on a German uniform, probably a WW1 version of some kind.
The martial arts are secondary to its design.
Not sure why he doesn’t like the rubber, I think the flash is annoying to clean and you can’t paint them, but I like them just fine.
I’d like the Bolt and Nobel Gundams in MG.

I also had MG G Gundam Spiegel. You'll use a total of 11 screws, 3 with nut. It's a very sturdy kit but one flaw, the butt cover connection is very fragile and breaks easily so I just apllied glue as remedy and seemed to work out pretty well.

I ordered one of the old G Gundam MGs from USA Gundam Store a while back. It really showed its age, not (only) because of all the screws, but because it was the first kit where I had a piece of the armor casually *snap in half while still on the runner.*

G Gundam is my favorite in the series. I've just recently gotten I to gunpla and my hearts desire is to as many of the G Gundam kits as I can. Not going to be an easy task it seems.
Now that they've done MGs of all the Wing Gundams and presumably are wrapping up the season 1 00 Gundam MGs, I think it's high time we get Dragon, Maxter, Rose and Bolt in MG.
Only the Gundam Wing Endless Waltz got MG releases and the TV series only got Wing Gundam as a MG release. I’m a fan of a lot of the Gundam series and would like to see 2.0 releases of the older kits and new releases of ones that never got a MG release before.
I would love to see the entire lineup from G, talk about amazing kit bashing material and just overall fun, unique designs, maybe one day, I'm going to keep dreaming.
The G and Shining Gundam are great MGs and well worth building. I stuck with HG 1/100 Master Gundam since its wings can do the cloak thing that they scrapped for the MG. I do wish a MG Maxter or Bolt Gundam would happen.

Still love my Master Gundam from this line. Not even a G Gundam fan, but it poses so well for an old kit.
LIES. The Master Gundam is fantastic. The only really problem is the color accuracy of the wing parts.

Im in the process of retrofitting modern HG joints to all my old NG G-Gundam kits.
I built all of them and while they all are very much similar the shining Gundam was the most solid. Besides the beam saber rack

All of them, really. But more importantly some new HGs of Rose, Maxter, Bolt, and Dragon Gundams are a good start. Bandai releasing the Death Army grunts last year gives me hope.
I NEVER forget German Ninja!! Although, I would like them make a new Devil Gundam. Preferably crab version..But it'll never happen.

@ZakuAurelius Those upward and downward pointing hands are meant to be used to complete the arm-crossing pose along with the chest collapsing gimmick, I believe. They can also be used for martial arts poses as well, but I'm fairly sure they're mostly meant to be used to tuck in (downward one) and up against (upward one) the arms and provide a more complete/realistic look when doing the arm-crossing pose.
I have MG Shining built and very solid as today. One thing to note, be very careful not to twist the upper elbow part of the Action frame or the tiny lock part will scrape off if not inserted in place.
Until now, I haven't unbox my God Gundam not yet built until my brother give me a proper airbrush and paints. xD haha
It's not supposed to look like a martial artist. The influence were the Wehrmacht soldiers. That shape of his helmet, the long black coats that also made the shoulders look wider.
For me as an MG goes, it'll always be the Nobel Gundam. I got her 144 scale and i *really* want to see a MG version of this kit with more recent "upgrades" as far as the frame and parts go.
The MG God Gundam kit was pretty fun. It's the only G Gundam MG I've built aside from Spiegel, though I do have Master Gundam and Shining Gundam sitting in a box still.
Considering you can get this (and God Gundam) for about the price of a fancy HG the quality on these boys is VERY good, they're honestly kind of nuts considering their age. I know it's mostly due to having tons of screws but they are super solid and very fun to play around with. The rubber hands are a bummer but I actually really like the rubber soles of the feet since they help quite a bit for keeping it from slipping around, I had Spiegel standing on one foot in a ninja pose for years and he never fell.
And I LEGIT want a Tequila Gundam.
I want the rest of the main Gundams come out, as well as 2.0s for what was made. There's a lot of potential for amazing new MG G Gundam kits if Bandai actually does that.
A Gundam Rose kit would be cool.
yes! Imagine a fully functional opened Rose Bits as good as Sazabi funnels does.
This would be an interesting kit to mod and do a custom of. Might get it.

I've built the MG God Gundam twice, and I highly recommend it. Its not perfect but I love the posability of it due to the reinforced inner frame from the screws. I don't recall a ton of seam lines to work with, but there's also a light up god hand add on kit that you can try to find. Ive never seen a built version of the MG God Gundam with that light up kit, but if you can make it happen, awesome. I've heard both good and bad things with the Master Gundam, mainly the arms and cape parts are hit or miss.
Why there was no MG Nobel Gundam is beyond me. Charge ¥2700 and print money all day. Niche but everybody knows and appreciates the Sailor uniform.
It's hard for me to want too many kits from G Gundam, but hopefully the fans of the show and suits get some love.
You should do the master Gundam haven’t built it but I heard that it is one of the best in the g Gundam MG series
there's only like 4 G Gundam MG kits tho
I've only done master and God and I think they are about the same in how much I love the way they look and pose.
It was a fun build and looks so cool! My only con is that it can’t have the wings cloak or wrap around the body. I believe the HG version has that feature though.
@@irldead 6. God (Burning), Shining, Master, Spiegel (Shadow), and plated versions of God and Master, branded as Hyper Mode variants. A MG Nobel was teased with the others, but never made it to production. They all share about 90% of their inner frames with one another, so the builds are all quite similar.
In the Philippines when the series was shown dubbed in Tagalog, it was called Gundam Jupiter

the MG Master Gundam is fine. The only bad part is the wing doesn't transform into the cloak. i have the MG Master and the God Gundam. both are pretty good for when they came out. The Shinning is probably the best one because it has more detail in the super mode.

Reminder, even tho the gundam Spiegel doesnt look like the gundam that fits in the martial arts competition, theres a gundam thats a *WINDMILL*

I always liked the g gundam kits. They're a decent way to get into MGs.
My favorite from this line is the Shining Gundam. I would love to see a 2.0 of it.
I have personally built the MG God Gundam, and I think it is VERY solid, one of my favorites in my collection. I just wish that the hips weren't basic ball joints, it really limits the fun. but otherwise it is a great kit. And I would love to just see the other main suits from the series in model form.

funny thing about the mg master gundam, it cant do the shroud form with the wings, but the old NG 1/100 could. the HG needs to partsform to do it.

Gundam Spiegel is from neo Germany and its design reminds me of German soldiers" uniform from WW2.
Full Shuffle Alliance in MG/RG/MG2.0 would be nice.
Master Gundam was a pretty unique build. I find the only problems came in the form of painting and the ankle guards. Other than that I loved it.
The Spiegel blades function like Tonfas, which are the preferred melee weapon of the German military.
I hope that this kit will have an HG and RG version really soon...

Man, I just finished G-Gundam and I love it. If I could have any kits I want, I'd love to see MG 2.0s for the ones they've already done as well as the shuffle alliance, Nobel, and SOME kind of 1/100 Devil Gundam; I kind of don't care what line it's in so long as it looks good and doesn't collapse under its own weight. (But like you I'm not holding my breath.)
And because i'm not holding my breath I've actually got an MG Shining gundam I'm going to build at some point here... I'm going to attempt to mod the legs to use a ball and socket with more range on it. (Mobile Fighters gotta do the splits, man... or as close as the skirt will allow I suppose X3 ) I guess I might end up destroying the kit in the process, but that's okay; he's inexpensive and, after all, SPOILERS-
Shining Gundam kind of ended up getting wrecked anyway. XD
I want HG for most all G Gundam suits that appeared in the show haha maybe when they are done making all the wing gundams HG they can move on to G Gundam

If you review the master gundam please let me know if you have any issues with the legs. I am going over mine again and when rebuilding it I cant get the inner frame for the knees to line up properly it always leaves a gap on the back unlike my shining gundam which uses the same frame.
I'm almost curious to see what a Ver. Ka of some MG G gundam Kit would look like, it would either look really nice or clash terribly lol

Actually, there's a TH-cam vid about some of the unreleased MG gunpla but announced by Bandai. An almost full Shuffle Alliance in MG version was announced back than as well as a MG Nobel. The F90 was also included to that list and yes the P-Bandai F90 is different from that announced MG years ago.

I know the God Gundam is like, The G Gundam hero suit, but I would still love to see a modern MG Shining Gundam. Gotta admit to being a big fan of the head transformation gimmick it has.
Bolt Gundam -- a state-of-the-art RG & MG would be stellar releases
G gundam devil gundam (dark gundam) in a perfect grade would be good!
I’ve built all 4 of the regular colour MG G Gundam kits, never got the hyper mode Master or God as they are hard to track down and mainly just a colour variation I believe. Shining was the first MG I ever built so have nostalgia in it, but God is the favourite in the line for me. Master is definitely at the bottom, looks good but not well executed. I’d love if Bandai 2.0’d all the existing ones and then made the 4 remaining Shuffle Alliance suits. I love G Gundam but it seems like a niche market so not holding my breath there

The Spiegel I think based its design from the old Hussar military uniform of the Prussian Kingdom, a pre-WWI state that exist prior to the unification of the German Empire.
Eh maybe with the buttons and coloration? The Prussian Hussar uniform has a very distinctive hat. Where as the head on the Spiegel definitely has a Stahlhelm shape to it. Unlike the other countries whose Gundams have very distinct ties to their culture or country, Spiegel's isn't all that clear.

Gundam Rose (& Bolt) only had the no grade versions. I guess they need to be revisited. I also wanna see a new kit for the Maxter.
I wouldn't mind if they release them as HG (though HG G Gundam kinda sucks and it makes completing them a bit of a bummer already).

Dude. I love this gundam. I have long fantasized about customizing one with added panel lines and leaning into the WWII German soldier aesthetic.
I'd recommend checking out some of the 1/100 kits from the 90's. they have different proportions and gimmicks than the MG kits. the 1/100 Master Gundam for example actually has a transforming cloak, it's the only Master Gundam kit that can do that.
I didn't know the funky Ng 1/100 had a transforming cloak. I picked the MG because I like the way it looked more.
@@protoman504 yeah the 1/100 has a slightly bigger head. IMO the best Master Gundam kit is the HG. HG has the right proportions, it has all the effect parts you want, and it has the cloak which is partsforming but that's better than nothing.
Do all the G Gundam Gundams have the Core Lander backpack thing?
Cause I remember getting a toy as a kid with like...a backpack "escape pod" and a pair of rose missiles or something that I think are actually funnels or something similar. Im pretty sure it was the French Gundam from the show but Im not fully sure.

P.S. I know this Gundam is not exactly themed after a ninja; but it still looks and plays the part to me.
They are cheap now (under 35 bucks) here in my country and I grab one now. I wish bandai will release the all G gundam kits as well as some verkas. Man the anime is cheesy but I love those martial art gundams they kinda unique at some point in the gundam universe. my dream in gunpla is to complete those G gundams in my shelf and I will save the best spot for the Hi-res God gundam. btw I'm your new sub 😊
