This is a little different. :) (And if it's not your thing and you'd like to skip this video, I totally get it. :) My next video will definitely be colouring-related!)
There are a number of non-colouring-related channels that I really enjoy... so I thought I'd share them with you. :) I'm sharing 5 non-art, non-colouring-related channels, 5 non-colouring but art-related channels, and 1 bonus channel. All the channels I'm sharing are either smaller channels or non-commercial (I think :)) channels - in other words, there are all channels that aren't owned/run by big corporations.
Let me know some of your favourite smaller/non-commercial TH-cam channels - colouring-related, art-related, or just something you enjoy!

Thanks for the video. I enjoy when channels do this, helps others to find enjoyable channels. I personally have been with Harry, the Art Gear Guide, and Lindsay, the Frugal Crafter for a few years already!

I never heard of mud larking before 😮 I was 18 when I moved to Portugal (I was born in Brazil), and being from a fairly "new" country I loved going to old places, abandoned houses, and far-off beaches (I lived in an island so many of those) looking for "treasures". Little did I know how REAL old places could be 🤣 Europe has so much history (unfortunately many times buried beyond reach) and so many places to explore, even more nowadays where people are concentrated in urbanized areas and forget about their not-so-near surroundings.

I've found Harry's channel last year and fell in love with the content. After watching him talk on Lindsay's podcast about his chronic back pain, and relating so much with that daily struggle, I appreciate and admire him even more for conquering his battle through art 🥰
I was going to say my dream is to get a metal detector and go wild but I just thought about it, and since we are already dreaming about things, let me rephrase that to "I would love to have a ground sonar and travel places" 🤣

This was so fun Connie! Like you (and probably many others), I like something running, talking, or going on while I'm coloring.
I have never heard of Mudlarkers before; I've just recently opened a tab for Art Gear because of the 150 Chromaflow review (so was excited to hear what you had to say); and I have also never heard of Time Team. I have these, plus Amy S.'s tabs opened and ready to explore. Thank you for helping me broaden my horizons!!

Always fun to know what other people are watching. I really like Diane Antone and did some of her sheep paintings. So much fun to do as well as her birds.
Yes - her sheep tutorial was adorably cute! :) I'd love to be able to sketch like her. Ah well - I can at least use her painting techniques. :)

Love Amy Shulke. I’ve learned so much about shading not using the same color family and it has been a game changer for my coloring pieces.

It’s funny that you find British accents relaxing, I’m Scottish and I love yours because it reminds me of my best friend who’s Canadian 😅. I used to watch time team with my grandparents, love me a bit of Tony Robinson haha. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Gem and the colour cave here on TH-cam but I think you’d enjoy her stuff!

I'm nearing the end! :) Final exams to grade, final reports to process, and then end-of-year paperwork. :)
The only one I am familiar with is The Frugal Crafter-Lindsay. I have been watching her since the fall of 2021. I have heard of The Art Gear Guide. Some things for me to look into. Thank you. This should be interesting.
