I have preferences with rosaries, too, and I also can't remember what days are for what mysteries on the rosary either, so don't feel bad. As for your parents, I would recommend a green scapular; one for each of your parents. Then, once you have them blessed by a priest, place them covertly in a place where they spend a lot of time, and pray "Immaculate heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death" at least once a day, and once for each of your parents. It originated with a Sister Justine of the Daughters of Charity in France in 1840, who was a contemporary of St. Catherine Laboure who was responsible for the propogation of the Miraculous Medal, and of the same order. Numerous conversions and reconversions to Catholicism, as well as miraculous healings have been attributed to the green scapular, when done with faith and confidence.

I just got your video as a suggestion. I'm a 53 year old mother of 3. I was raised in the catholic faith with very limited knowledge of it. I never left the faith but was just a Sunday Mass goes to be honest. My mother passed away unexpectedly and was wesring the brown and green scapular. I picked up her belongings from hospital brought them home, let my siblings know they were in my home..I put them away in a drawer for many yrs, one day I decided to wear them both and would not leave home without it.Needles to say I was guided by Our Lady in so many ways so patiently to know and practice my faith. I truly believe in the power of the Green Scapular for conversion, and the brown for graces to live faith more fully as a Christian who loves Jesus. SHE led me to consecration to Jesus thru Mary, rosary daily, making 5 1st Saturday devotion, 1St 9 Fridays Devotion to the Sacred heart of Jesus, adoration of Blessed Sacrament, frequent daily masses..One of my children who had stopped going to mass is back, going to confession more often, sometimes adoration , Sunday mass and Holy days of Obligation( I put green scapular in their phone cases) a d say prayer everyday) The Second child my youngest just turned 19 still goes to Mass, Holy days of Obligation,, and confession .....my middle child I'm waiting on to accept the graces..I trust our Lady is interceding for her before her Son...

Praise the Lord for your beautiful soul! May your parents be wrapped in Our Lady's Mantle and the cloak of St Joseph and find healing and conversion and new found fervent faith in the Lord and His Holy Catholic Church! Amen Alleluia

I LOVE your devotion to the Catholic faith!! I love that you don't let your family who may not be as religious as you stop you from living your life according to God's will, truly inspiring! I feel like we are similar in many ways, just by watching your videos. We are both freshmen in college, and I live in the south, but my university is pretty much online for all of the fall and most of the spring, so i'm at home doing classes online unfortunately. I have grown up in Catholic school since kindergarten, and my dad is actually in the seminary studying to become a Catholic priest (I am so excited for him!) Throughout high school, I took french and I just love the language and think it is so beautiful. Since college begun, I sorta fell off studying the language, but I would love to continue studying it one day, and it is a dream to visit France!

I can't memorize the rosary either. I always have a TH-cam rosary video going to help me along. The Catholic Crusade is a really good channel for this purpose.

You do kind of look French, so that's cool. I have a smallish amount of French, but most were Huguenots. However, there may be some hidden within the English majority I have [like the Normans]. Interestingly enough, some of my ancestors were English and Welsh people who were actually official Catholics, and moved to Maryland, and eventually further west.

What state do you live in? I’m in Philadelphia PA and we have BEAUTIFUL historical churches here. I’ve been to the Vatican as well. But I know in other areas in the US they have modern Catholic Churches and they just aren’t built like ours. They are so mesmerizing here I can’t imagine attending the more modern lay built churches. But just saying, we do have them here in the US as well!

Since you like the Rosary - have you been to Our Lady of the Rosary in San Diego? Beautiful paintings and windows based on the mysteries of the Rosary.

You are awesome. I, too, have a large collection of holy relics/reminders. It started in the '70s when I was attending religious instructions and the nuns would hand out religious Christmas cards. I've been hooked ever since, they truly strengthen my faith and I truly believe they protect me from the evil and devil's snares of this world. God Bless you my sister in Christ.

I do find younger Christians on TH-cam, but Not many in my area. In my area most are age 60+. I just want to find some middle-aged Christians.

Pro-Life ♥️✝️🇺🇸 I love 🇫🇷 going to learn French after I’m done with graduate school. Make sure your enrolled in the Brown Scapular. If you have a hard time finding a Priest try Traditional Latin Mass if one is close ♥️

Great video….just to let you know Dr. James Dobson is not Catholic but a very prominent Protestant minister and writer. I would be very careful about what he says in that book. Compare what he says to what the Church says.
