Another thing you can do instead of “tricking” the latch is to pop your hood, get out of your car and leave it unlocked, open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Then go back and open your door. Also really good if you are a beginner so your dome lights don’t run your battery dead. Pretty sure the mustang has a feature where it disables your accessory power if the voltage drops under 11.5; But if you want to play it safe, just disconnect the battery and don’t risk breaking your door latch. Great video though.
Great tutorial! I only have a few questions. How do you release the “trick” on the window latch? & Did you set the film underneath the bottom gasket the same way you set the film underneath the side gasket?
I know I’m 10 months too late, but to any future viewers with this same question, just pull the door handle (like you’re opening the door) and the “trick” is released.

Tricking the latch is much simpler and will turn off the door latch and will not run the risk of damage.

I found pill the handle and then do the latch trick at the same time and then it goes back
I have a question ones your done tinting a window can u roll it down ones your done or do u have to wait a day ?
Give it 3-5 days. Depends if it's winter or summer.
You can just use a heat gun to speed up the process or a hair dryer
is safe to eve drive your car after tinting
