Just check out this video. Thanks for installing LHG on my truck! I definitely can tell a difference on the reduced time it takes to clear the windshield and warm up the cabin. Shout out to Kern from Ventech for making all of this happen. Appreciate it Aaron.
So I finally got curious enough that I called the local big diesel shop around here and talked to them about the Ventech heater. They refused to even install it. Said it doesn't look like a good kit, and will likely cause issues later down the road because of its design, and I guess they just don't want the liability of having to repair it or issues related to it later. Interesting. So I guess I'll wait until late this year when we're about to head into cold weather again and I'll get a block heater installed and try that. The coolant will need to be flushed by then anyhow as I'll be at 100k.
If you currently religiously plug in your truck now, eventually it would pay for itself in saved electricity bill. How long that would take is upto how long you plug in for or if you ever use a timer.
@@Itsa_Mea $0.12 a KWH, block heater utilizes 350 watts. Lets say we use it for 5hrs a day 60 days out of the year. Annual cost would be $12.60. So it would take 200 years to recoup cost. But hey it would only be 8 years if you plugged it in 24/7 365 lol

Twenty. Four. Hundred. Dollars. For that, I'd install a big inverter for A/C power and run a space heater in the cab. Then I've got power for other tasks too.
My 22 450 came with snow plow prep but didnt come with a block heater!? But I just use the Ford App and start it from the comfort of my living room and let it run for 10-15 minutes and it's warm and ready to run. I am debating getting a block heater installed though.
Ok, this has nothing to do with any of this video. I have been following and watching you for a long time now. Your ability to operate ONE HANDED is surpassed by none!!!! Go go gadget Aaron hand! Keep up the great work brother.
Maybe after they send out their first few kits they’ll start sending them already put together.. Seems strange they make the buyer assemble so much of it before installation is possible. Maybe saving a few pennies per.
It’s Sunday PTT! Diggin the content! Just bought 2020 SD PSD 37k. Using hot shots fingers crossed aids CP4 until warranty is up! Being told by Ford dealers if I install any Disaster Prevent Kit or Mod the air intake it VOIDS warranty? True or false?
FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! make sure to use archoil. We had been usin hotshot shots all of the time ans swtich over. Have noticed more differences using Archoil
@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod Yes, but on a hot day, it is not starting at 15° I just think it is too hot too fast and will get metal fatigue. It's like pouring cold water into a hot engine.
Does it really take 12+ minutes to only get a diesel engine's coolant temp up to 111*F? I know it's got alot of coolant but dang, 25-30 minutes to get to operating temp?
QUESTION ? I ordered a 2023 Platinum which never received and has been updated to a 2024, my question is i ordered it with a fuel fired cab warmer through ford, how is that different from what you installed? What would you put on yours?
I just assumed it's similar to a torque convertor inside that is constantly shearing the fluid and creating friction while doing so, therefore creating more heat.
Hi I am kind a new guy to your channel. I think it will be great if you are doing a video about buyers my used power stroke. Because today price are too high. I personally can’t afford the price thanks
Not sure now, but in 2018 they could not do a fuel heater because you would get codes on startup for the difference between coolant and oil temps. Local guy was not installing them on newer trucks. Said Chevy would not even start. But I also have not asked since my 2017.
They must have had the fan on high to keep the supplementle heat temp lower. No doubt this thing works but I think the supp heater is pretty good if you run the fan @4 or lower.
YOU ALL need to check OUT this!! th-cam.com/video/dFPPU3byd8E/w-d-xo.html
When that tab broke off all I could think of was oh darn what a perfect opportunity to upgrade to the Banks 😂
Rrrright
2020 silver spruce, pretty rare truck

Hey brother, thanks for the feedback. We appreciated your business. If you need any help with your PSD, you know where to find us.
I can see getting this unit for a very cold climate, but I'll plug my truck in. Always a well done install video Aron! `
Ya know my wife would totally totally want that…..but the cost just ain’t in the cards.
But what a product❤❤
Nice unit. I'm glad I don't live in an area that gets that cold.

Cool stuff , nice installation 👍
Nice product for those in the northern states that dont have dual alts
Be interesting to see the difference between the LHG and just plugging in the block heater for 1/20th the price

That’s an incredible unit!
Adding another pulley I wonder what is does to fuel mileage
I would’ve done the same thing or you do with that plastic piece. Good job.
Hey thanks

Nahhhhhhhhh, id say enjoy that invertor pal
Thought you were gonna take that drivers side mirror out when you reversed in.
That's why I order with rapid heat works great
Rapid heat is shit up against this
For the price it's a no brainer
Headed seats work fast in 2024 there hotter than hell. I don’t even need heat sometimes.
That thing is sweet!

Hey AROD , what high idle kit do I need for my 2020 f350 superduty using my upfiter switches?
I’d be curious to see how it compares to the in cab supplemental heater from factory.
They had that on in the other truck during the test. Did you watch the video? There's no comparison.
What a waste of an option

Would you think putting something to heat the engine that fast would break bolts from expanding and contracting so fast, like exhaust and head bolts.
what do you think your trucks doing on a hot day?

I like you thoughts but that extreme is not here
Im guessing not available for dual alternator trucks
Is that belt the same size used if there was a second alternator?
No

Fuel fired fuel cab heater......you sure about that cheeeeef
For $2400, I’ll wear a jacket, hat and mittens for 10 minutes
Totally agree!
Hey arod do you know about anything that will do the same but for trans temp ?
Notchet
No joke, my truck takes forever for that tranny to get warm.
Interesting install but how dose it make heat.

Huh
Mine has the electric element for instant heat
You might as well not even have that
Gotta love it when folks don't watch fully then comment.
Bro, its nonstop. I shldnt even make a description either, no one reads it...
Id rather run a webasto or similar diesel heater.

Yes single alt only
