Was issued a zastava m21 5.56mm as a contractor in 2018. Nice rifle. And when I qualified on that I was given the opportunity to fire a yugo ak47 folding stock. Kicked like, erm, an SLR and gave nice bruises to the shoulder. 😉
Really enjoying this series. Been watching a series on YT about the battle for the Falklands as well ..similar style of military presentation Had chance to play on OPFOR at a 2 day mil sim at Humber Airsoft & it was good fun using an AK for a change...as you can imagine , that site is just made for that type of milsim.
Have you got memories of falling asleep to this training film? Or have you fired any of the firearms shown. Let us know!
Both, one could put you to bed in five minuets and the other could put you in your coffin in 5 seconds.
Interesting how the RPK is deemed unsatisfactory as a squad light machine gun then 10 years later, here is the new LSW L86...
Indeed! How times changed. :) The soviets had also put the PKM in so I guess they knew it too.

I’ve had great fun as OPFOR at Humber a couple of times!
“And now for something completely different, an Anti-Tank Weapon” at 31’ 50”
Am I the only one who thought of Monty Python?
Definite python reference! :)
Presenter looks like a typical Rodney from the era to me 🤣
30 round SVD mag? Must be a tardis!
Hollywood mag
Any chance the Royal Union Rifles are still knocking about Gadge? Just seen a post on zeroin from 2012 don't suppose that was you involved with them?
Actually a group i go set up with my pal Neil. The group are still going but really more a re-enactment group than airsoft these days.
If you need a bayonet on the Dragunov, you've definitely done something wrong.
