When I moved out of my childhood home years ago, I found a recipe for Chicken Francese in a magazine. It was the first actual recipe I followed. I made it quite a bit for a while, then not for years. Your recipe is the most delish looking in TH-cam, so I made it tonight. Thank you, Chicken Francese is now back in the rotation!
You made my absolute favorite chicken dish! I have to try it now. Your voice is so soothing and the close up video of the cooking process is very helpful. Thank you for posting. You have a new subscriber!
No dumb dumb! Don’t do that. “Flour” all the chicken together then egg wash them one by one and into the pan so they all cook at same time. 3 min each side and put chicken to side and make the gravy. And don’t use such huge pieces like this lady did. It’s supposed to be small cutlets or breast cut into strips. Ugh!
Lana one day I ate at a pizza restaurant and they also served Italian dishes and I decided to order a chicken francaise and believe it not it was the best I ever Taste till date. But my question is it had a sugary flavor somewhere in that sauce do u know what it could be? I’m planning on doing it the same way u have I hope I try by then lol!
Good recipe but in the instructions you say to add wine and chicken broth to the butter and flour mixture then you say to add the garlic cooking the mixture then to add wine chicken broth. I think you mean just to add it the one time after the garlic is added to the butter and flour mixture once it's been cooked for a little.
Hello Lana . I just found you recipe chicken francese by surfing and was very impressed by it. You did a great job I will make it this week end. You got a new subscribe and a like from me now. Cheers we may exchange recipes one day. Have a great week end. 👍👍😊😊😀😀
Hey Lana. I don’t know who would buy cooking wine. It tastes horrible. What ever you drink you should use for cooking also. If you don’t want to open a whole bottle of wine. You can buy those tiny bottles of wine that come in a four pack.
I’m going to be doing this someday….just the same way ur making it….lol! Favorite dish all time! Beside me following u here we’re else can u be found ?

What happens if you don't use wine? Looks great
Thank you! It will change the flavor slightly. Use lemon 🍋 instead of wine.
Nice

Maybe 🤔 sweet white wine
Good recipe but in the instructions you say to add wine and chicken broth to the butter and flour mixture then you say to add the garlic cooking the mixture then to add wine chicken broth. Do you serve with pasta? If so,what kind?
Yes pasta or rice. Bow tie pasta would be nice.
@@LanasKitchenChannel thank you
hum so sweet
I feel if you add the butter so early in the sauce it will separate. Maybe add it at the end
She is making a roux
how much wine?
Measure with your heart
Why not use evoo ?
The fat can be anything from oil to lard to melted butter, depending on the flavor you want.
no wine?
Never ever use cooking wine. Junk. Use regular white wine that you would drink.
Facts!
Sure, but in a Pinch it's better than no wine at all. And I put fresh parsley in with the egg/parmesan mixture.

thank you Lana for the heart
I would not add salt if I’m using parm cheese
Only one lemon ????
Wow.
You can definitely use more than one!
@@LanasKitchenChannel
Just bought a bag at Aldi's !
Can u put the recipe in description please?
Sure 😊
@@LanasKitchenChannel Can you make this with boneless chicken thighs? (I just happen to have some - was going to do Caprese but keen to try this out!)
@@AnnabelleJARankin Yes you can but make sure the boneless chicken thighs are skinless. Enjoy!
@@LanasKitchenChannel Great - yes they are!
Sorry but the preparation of the lemon juice was different from the description of the recipe.
Why did you add salt to salty Parmesan cheese????
It really didn’t seem salty
Never use cooking wine. Use real drinking wine. Any light white wine
Thanks for the tip!

Lana how can u be found ?
I’m going to be doing this someday….just the same way ur making it….lol! Favorite dish all time! Beside me following u here we’re else can u be found ?
It's a nice recipe but why cooking wine? Cooking wine is awful!
Any dry white wine will work!
Looks delicious but damn you butchered the name. Lol
Sis that's more like two cups of Parmesan. 🤦♀️
Cooking wine? Not wasting my time!
Any dry white wine will do
Doesn't she mean 3 chicken breast instead of 3 lbs.
Not 3 chicken breast, I cooked 3 lbs. 😊
NEVER use "COOKING Wine"
Noted
Hey lana... If you are going to get fancy...pronounce it properly...its...fran- chay- zay
Thanks 😂

Lost all credibility when i saw cooking wine being used! No chef would ever use it
I’m not a chef 👩🏻🍳 😂
Nice, easy recipe. Serve with salad? Rice? b/t/w it's pronounced "Fran-chay-zeh" (not "Fran-chayze")
