    Hi! What a lovely, real birth story. I’m about to give birth to my 4th and your story was just what I needed to hear. A good reminder that birth happens how it’s meant to and not to let expectations or worries cloud you. This will be my 3rd home birth ❤❤❤

    I shared this with our daughter in law, (due in November). She felt very encouraged, you told everything in such a positive, calm way! Thank you for sharing! 🤗. I had a very similar home birth story 29 yrs ago! 🤗🙏🏼💙

    They call the toilet the “dilation station” because you’re naturally but not forcefully baring down like a bowel movement. It’s the gravity and you just naturally relax on the toilet.

    Every birth is so different. With my only birth where water started leaking first got to 8 cm with no contractions

    Your water breaking usually indicates that you will give birth within the next 48hours....also, amniotic fluid is naturally replenishing. So your water breaking is only a risk if you are in a hospital, having regular cervical checks.

    How vocal are you while pushing? Are you able to breathe through the pain or was screaming unavoidable!?

    • @TheDuvallHomestead
      @TheDuvallHomestead  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s more of a productive yell haha. Like grunting to lift something really heavy. Yes I’m able to maintain relaxed throughout the whole process. But pushing is so intense that it just helps to let it out a little. My midwife always told me to breathe down like a low humming noise and that helps.

      As far as birthing classes, we attended a local Bradley Method birth class in our area! They are nation wide so I'm sure you could find some in your area too if you're interested in that. It's a great course!
