Look at the inside space of the 300 Tuffy from Polycraft ! Light weight and very stable this thing can go up to 18 mph with two adults on a 15 Hp Outboard. At the show they had a $2995.00 special but the boat is usually 3295.00 at dealers.

this type of boat has been around for over 30 years. they are incredible. much stronger than you might think, lighter than glass and will not only float but repairs are simply a case of hot air gun and a bit of plastic.... no need for any wood other than a nice transom board you can simply slot in and replace whenever you want.. brilliant idea and can be made from scrap plastic,,, no more rotten fibreglass , this stuff is simple to re-use...... if you think they are weak then try bashing them with a hammer. then youl get a shock how tuff they are.... 4 metre is the good size, lets you chuck a 70hp on the back
When the 3m Polycraft was released the Australian Army dropped them from helicopters onto a football field...they bounced...hope you enjoy them.

Yes. We have done lots of research on these molded plastic boats as a tender and they have so many advantages over a RIB. They seem best impossible to puncture, and have virtually no maintenance on the hull (other than bottom growth), while having more room and stability than a rib.

these boats are made about 5 miles form where i live in Bundaberg Queensland Australia. if ya like rum we make that to the famous aussie spirit Bundaberg rum.
Yep $3000 for the hull only . You will need to purchase the rest of the equipment separately. So total price will be around $6000 because only the engine will be like $2000 plus trailer ... hell nahhh with $6000 dollars I can buy something bigger with engine included at Craigslist.
For a Yamaha 15hp 4 stroke, closer to $4000. New aluminum trailer around $2000 after tax. Trolling motor $400, decent fish finder $400, batteries $200, you’re over 10 grand for a 10 foot boat. No way.
Nothing says “Florida man” like riding a piece of molded plastic with an outboard on the back out of Haulover.

I have a poly boat for my surf boat and I have to say they is no maintenance and they don't sink. I love mine.

a light and sweeping touch of heat from a heat gun, brings back the black color like magic;
actually hard to believe for someone who is looking at it being done,they at first ask if that's a trick and you have some sort of new spray gun in your hand, so amazing it is lol

I own one of those polys go out in it lots put in bilge pump and a 1/2. “ marine ply floor and carpet great safe boat go out on some rough water but hull over this lve got to see good luck from Australia
I have one with a 15hp mercury on it ,I agree with you great boat, it will eat that haulover while everyone else is to scared to have a go in their big boats, but give the little poly a chance and wait till it gets real rough it will be a walk in the park for it while the big boats wouldn't be game to even attempt it, they are great boats

i have a Jeep with plastic fenders the sanding / heat gun works for a while but over time the sun will bleach it out - the heat gun pulls the oils to the surface but they fade faster over time Looks great now - in a year will look like Grandmas quilt
These people make rain water tanks that still look good after 30yrs in the Australian sun
go to the second hand market if you have only 3 thousand to spend you could get a 5.5m rib with 90hp for the same price as this bathtoy

There's thousands of different kinds of boats in the world at every price range. People buy polyethylene boats for specific reasons like durability and low maintenance. You can't compare it to other types of hulls or used boats.
If somebody doesn't know anything about boats, or a good mechanic they trust to inspect it and not lie...they will b throwing away 5k

I’ve really taken a shining to these poly boats. Regardless if it’s it’s polycraft, whaley, ect. But, I live on the lower Columbia River. It can be glass and as soon as the tide snaps, off shore wind picks up and creates 3-5ft white caps with a rippin tide. My next concerned is if those one piece bows can handle a deployed anchor with 60-150ft of line without tearing out. That’s a shit ton of tension.
Pretty soon you have a boat with really super thin plastic after a few repairs. Good thing it won't sink.

A few other reviews show that the storage lockers are NOT water tight. I don’t know why they would claim this.

I had the 5.99 Polycraft in centre console with a 175 hp Suzuki 4 stroke on the back, load/unload single handed, tougher than an alloy boat and rides like a ‘glass boat. Saddest day was when I sold her...

@@tishbrett I would definitely get one...but having to get a custom trailer, and after buying the fifteen hp, you can find a decent boat for that price with a a trailer, more length, and hp...tuffys’ are amazing though
These boats are made with a special UV protector that prevents it from fading in the sun.
Logic and Triumph boats were roto- molded and they went away. I like the durability of they boats.
Had a logic 13 ft it was a great boat

I’ld buy their 450 in a heartbeat should they come to Ontario. Most versatile boat for Great Lakes and small. There is one thing that puzzles me: Since they claim these boats are virtually indestructible, than why Polycraft offers only 4 year warranty on their hulls? Please, if some one have explanation do share. There is something that prevents Polycraft from being more generous with that warranty. What is it? Something cosmetic or structural. Thank you.

If he had sanded with progressively finer grades down to maybe 1500 - 3000 and then use the heat gun, the repair would likely be invisible. You can still see the repaired areas in the demo.
We do recommend going down to 1000 grit. This was done quick just for the interest of time. But if you do it right, it comes out like brand new.

These poly boats are indestructible. TH-cam ‘polycraft’ and watch videos where they drop them form cranes and ram them with utes and they simply bounce back.
The ride is butter smooth.

25ltr fuel tank between the back seats and a motor bike battery in the left side compartment , they are great boats, had mine in rough water where the bigger boats dare not go

A single 20 and it wouldn't stand a chance against the 3m polycraft, had a 20horse on it back to a 15hp mercury with a se sport 200 cav plate now and it's way good enough

You might as well buy a PWC. Faster, more fun and cost will be pretty close to equal. Great for small lakes, but not the ocean.
The small one mostly get used as tenders but the bigger ones go 30-40 nml out to the shelf all the time
I get it, but these are nothing more than a Whaley boat from the Netherlands. They may be well built, but they have a limited capacity and really should only be used in calmer seas if your going to fish from them. The other issue is you have to buy everything (motor included) to be able to get it up and running. With what Sea-Doo is doing with their Fish Pro and others who are modifying their skis as fishing vessels, it just makes more sense to spend a few extra G’s and go that route. At least it would be quicker and your range would be much farther. Maintenance I agree would be lower in the long run, but overall, a real boat or a PWC would be the better option. I looked into the Whaley boat a couple years ago, and I really had to think about what I was going to use it for. If I did get it, would it excite me every time. The answer is no. In the end I just could see me using it as often as a quicker motorized craft. I see value in it, but not for me.
@@lestertunigold403 they are a real boat and will go and do the same as any boat the same size from 15-20ft is you standard offshore rig under15ft is mostly island or river boats and these boat are near indestructible
We sell Whaly boats and Polycraft boats. Both incredible brands. Not every boat is for everyone. People who buy this boat have a specific purpose and use them for fishing their local waters or as tenders for their larger vessels. Can't compare to PWC. Plus have you ever spent 3+ hours on a PWC? Not that comfortable at all.
3000$ for the shell, more 3k$ for the absolut need accessories, double of all that for the engine, and you get to the price of a williams yacht tender lol
If the hardware like rod and reels are name brands and the electronics as the same brand new name brand I might give 3 grands but I'd preferred it to be at least 16ft

You can buy a 14ft Jon boat, and trailer for less than that. More room, faster, and sturdier.

Just bounces off ,leaves a scratch, otherwise just lift your motor and drag it across done it heaps of times in 14yrs of owning mine, piece of cake to unload of the trailer lift the motor push it off the trailer onto it's arse let it hit the ground then drag it down to the water, they are tough

Look into the Whaly 210 it’s only 6 ft but it can fit in a pickup so no need for a trailer and it’s a lot lighter $1500 is half the cost there’s always cheaper options this really isn’t that affordable when you factor in a trailer and a motor nice vid tho they are cool boats scratch it just put a heat gun on it and it’s fixed lol
We sell Whaly boats as well. The 210 is a lot smaller though. 2 different boats completely
