Glad that you enjoyed them and are a fan. Nice reaction, thank you! One of the things I like about them is that they usually give each member of the band a chance to shine during their live shows. The back-up singers are Mark Rivers, Mike Mattison and Alecia Chakour. Mike Mattison used to be the lead singer in Derek's solo band, The Derek Trucks Band. He's also the writer for my favorite song of theirs, "Midnight In Harlem". Thanks again
Had the good fortune to see Susan Tedeschi with ex-members of the Grateful Dead, The Other Ones, and I've seen Derek Trucks a bunch of times with Phil and Friends, and The Allman Brothers Band, so now I have to see them together. Great video and reaction. TTB looks like a fun show.
Thanks for repping TTB. Keep ‘em coming !! First band I’ve fallen in love with in decades! I’ve been stuck on the 10/6/21 Beacon show for a couple of weeks now…Derek and the band are just fire thru out. Amazing collabs with Jorma Kaukonen and one of the best jams I’ve seen with Marcus King on guitar. And bonus…the vid has a time-stamped set list. th-cam.com/video/rRWgFcUtpRo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PzKhT26qyajowdV7
It may be a Beatles song but it’s clearly done in the style of Joe Cocker. I’ll end up erasing this if you mention that but so far you’ve had to chances and haven’t yet. No biggie. Not being a dick. Just kinda surprised.
Great stuff

Midnight in Harlem is their best song in my opinion. I saw them last summer and was so glad when they played it.

It really was a great show Bob. I think you'd enjoy it if you ever got a chance to see them. i was very impressed.
I saw Joe Cocker do this one
He did a great job with it. I thought it was his song for many years.

That's a different song in the commercial that's anyhow

Surprised at what? That I didn't mention it's in the style of Joe Cocker's version? That didn't even cross my mind to mention.
And that surprises me. Since your life is listening to music you’d think you’d have thought of it 😉
Yeah, Cocker at Woodstock. Iconic.
TTB did a show with Leon Russell recreating the whole Mad Dogs & Englishmen show. They slayed Space Captain.
