Not only is Christoff a hard worker, Alex is too, actually all of you are. Now we see were Markus gets it from lol. Great seeing all of you out there getting things done, I usually end up in a tractor or something and doing things alone so I get a little envious watching you all getting along while working :)
Markus definitely gets it from both parents. Lol. Both work really hard. We try to do a lot of jobs together so we have a lot of people to get one thing done at a time but very quickly. Works good for us. We all get alone working together always have.
also 1 last thing been dinking around with making vids on my channel if anybodys in the market for more operating videos from the new hampshire side of things
How do you defend yourselves against the mosquitos? This time of the year normally I have to give up the forest-work due to them, but I have one more acre to finish! 😱 The solution: "spirit vinegar", acetic acid, what is used to pickle cucumbers and alike, the strong stuff, 24% at least. Put some on sleeves, collars, caps/hats but beware not to get it directly on the skin cause it'll burn you. It also helps against lasyness, the smell makes you move all the time 😉👍
@@802Farmers oh wow. Thankfully we don’t have bears in Australia. Deer are beautiful, but no doubt a nuisance when planting crop. We never had that issue when we were dairy farming albeit the wallabies (a type of small kangaroo) were always feeding on the grass. Our cows were on pasture every day as we don’t have the extreme cold, then hot, as you guys do. 💜 Thank you for sharing your family farm with us all. Would dearly love to see some history about the farm and your Mum and Dad too. Love seeing Alex and the kids on the farm too.
Animals always feed to be a nuisance no matter where you live. Just a different type of animal🤣. Thank you for watching and someday I’ll do a video about that just always busy. Lol
Most like selling the good ones to a mill and also possibly log length firewood also. Yes it is, we like the little 440 because it gets around like a 4 wheeler in the woods and still pulls impressively well.
@@802Farmers I don't envy you pulling chokers around through the brush I did enough of that years ago up here in northern Minnesota I remember thinking that the grapple skidder was the best thing since sliced bread but that little John Deere is a handy little skidder for around the ranch/farm I've ran Clark/350 timber jack and the c6 tree farmers back in the day and the little JD is definitely handy
I like those 440 skidders. But i love how timberjack 230 and smaller are designed easy to get in and out when working alone
I’ve never drove any of the other brand skidders

Great job Markus and fellows
Thank you
If you folks would try the cable chockers, you would never go back to chains.
Nice work y’all!
Thank you

I’ll look into it when I’m not working man. 👍🏻
Great.

Off bug spray for the most part. But we haven’t ran into many this year yet. It’s so dry out that there isn’t any around.
Why not leave tops and branches in woods?
Blade them around first to aid in hooking up all of the stems
Hi, my husband and I enjoy your channel.
What beautiful countryside 💜 do you have much wildlife come down from the hills, i.e. cougars, bears etc?
Thank you for watching. We have black bears and white tale deer around in our area.

G'day guys. What happens to the logs now? Saw logs. Nimble skidder. Thanks for the video.

Do you guys log your own property only or do you log to fill in time when you're not busy with the farm
We only do it on our own land. We don’t have time to do it for others
You guys must have a fair amount of acres if you've got that much equipment for personal logging use. Very nice establishment you all have 👍
you guys selling the wood to loggers or trucking to the mills also what are the plans for the brush?
Still seeing which route we wanna go. We will hope to be setting up pipeline in the fall.
Whah ya going to do with the wood Thanks
The plan is to sell as logs & firewood
What is the name of the hook tool he handed her to pull the chain in the beginning of the video
We just bought it our local chainsaw shop. No clue what the specific name is it’s just used to pulling chains or chocker cables under trees.
@@802Farmers Chokers can be pushed. Unlike chains.
Why on earth aren't you using chokers?
Exactly where are the chokers
We don’t like choker cables. We like the choker chains more. To all their own option though.
👍👌🇨🇦❤
