    Your story about your parents passing was so beautiful that the only sadness I felt was for all the people in the world that will never experience the love that you and your family clearly have for each other ❤

    I love you! That being said, I went into recovery for my wife after an ultimatum because I cared more about her than myself. I have learned to stayed sober for me so I can be there for my family but honestly, if we all had to love ourselves before we could love someone else,… there’d be a lot of lonely people out there. I love you!

    Hey Sarah. Thanks for talking about abortion in Florida. I work in abortion provision in FL and we currently see the patients from the entire Southeast US. We will now have to be seen by the rest of the country.
    If people are registered voters in Florida they should fill out a form to put abortion on the ballot!!!!!
    Let me know if you want more info.
    See you tomorrow night in Vegas at Jimmy's. I hope you can have a nice Memorial Day weekend. I'm sorry for your loss. Loved hearing about your family via your podcast. Xo

    You are the best advocate for women! Of course, it's not about life. Politicians don't give a damn about life, history & the lack of Healthcare, truth, Veterans care, Elderly Care etc. Proves it daily

    Was the audio cleaned up for the call that Sarah was having trouble with because of the caller's voice? Because I couldn't hear anything wrong at all. Maybe Sarah has misophonia? Anyway, I thought it could have been handled differently as it didn't seem fair to the caller.

    I work in Women’s Health in Virginia- and have for more than 20 years. We cannot believe what is happening with reproductive rights. I mean….. we saw the writing on the wall. The flags have been flying for awhile now. But. Now that we’re here…..it’s. Fucking scary. Doctors I work with are scared, but resilient. We’ve been in the space of protecting women for decades. I mean….at this point, it’s all we know. Protect. Serve. Protect. We are up against the wall. But. All we know: protect. Serve. Protect. We can’t quit at this point. We literally don’t know how.

    Great episode. Christo-Fascism's success will rely on an ignorant electorate, laissez-faire principles, and societal apathy towards hypocrisy; certainly, it has a frighteningly good foothold in the US. Regarding the writers' strike, it's telling how often great directors and actors will praise the script that brought them onto a project that became a classic; I never heard of an algorithm doing that to say nothing of the coming tsunami of AI content. #WGAStrong

    Please use the terms active alcoholic and recovering alcoholic to distinguish between the two. If u just say alcoholic, that is not fair to recovering alcoholics. I've been sober for over 28 yrs, one day at a time.

    Love you Sarah. Listen every week. You handled the phone call from the guy with mouth noises very badly. He was sharing something lovely about your Dad, and you wouldn’t stop shaming him as if he was purposefully trying to irritate you. You could’ve requested to have that segment removed from the podcast. He deserved more grace.

    Weird memory,.....at my Jewish synagog in Cleveland, Ohio, back in the 1960s, they would set up their conference tables in their meeting room, in the shape of a swastika. I don't think they knew, because the shape wasn't obvious at ground level. (Or floor level) I happened to see it because I was "the AV guy",..the (Audio Visual Technician) guy who set up the movie projectors, lighting, microphones, etc. for the conferences. And I had to go up to the "catwalks", which were close to the ceiling in the room, to exam how everything looked, below at the floor level. I was flabbergasted, but wasn't in a position to demand they re-arrange the tables, into another configuration. It was quite ironic.

    The important thing that most countries have to teach about the Holocaust these days, is that it can happen again if the world isn`t careful. whether it`s Jews or Muslims or anyone who`s next. And not just well the evil Germans did that, but reasons and why it happened, and the history of Antisemitism to show this is not something that was invented in the 1930s.

    They may also lose in the reality tv market. People are watching people on twitch watching reality tv shows. It is its own market by normal people, then they take those normal people and try to give them their own show on mainstream media. But it never last as far as Ive seen.

    I dunno Sarah honestly to each their own,I think she should at least give him a chance. I was a drink all day every day functional alcoholic for 20+ years who sounds a lot like that guy..Funny, sincere, damaged..and it wasn't until I met the best friend of my life and truly experienced genuine love for the first time in my life and it inspired me to quit,I haven't had a drink in a year I quit cold and don't even think about it at all..the power of real love does wonders 💞✊ (p.s. Anyone looking to quit alcohol please feel free to reach me in the comments I'd love to share what I learned and the healthy tricks that helped!) Much love fam! Keep your hearts open! 😉💪🔮❤

    Look I listen every week and I've loved Sarah for 20 years but she was super rude to that guy who just wanted to call and tell her a memory he had with her dad. If you don't have any tolerance for mouth noises maybe don't have a show where you have people call in from their telephones.

    Saying no billionaire worked hard to make their money is a ridiculous statement.

    • @cleverlilvixen
      @cleverlilvixen ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can you name one who didn’t have some kind of “boost” from their parents? And if it’s just one, isn’t that more the exception than the rule? And what “hard work” are any of them doing now to justify the “cost” of their time? Billionaires are ridiculous.

    • @nickc247
      @nickc247 ปีที่แล้ว

      @cleverlilvixen Receiving a boost from your parents is in no way comparable to working hard. What about the hundreds of millions of people who received boosts who aren't millionaires?
      If you put aside inherited wealth, I would say almost every self-made billionaire worked extremely hard for their fortune.

    • @cleverlilvixen
      @cleverlilvixen ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nickc247 I would counter that every “self made” billionaire had A LOT of other people working hard for their fortune.
      And to your point about the hundreds of millions who aren’t even millionaires, that speaks to the fact that it’s getting harder and harder to be what’s commonly considered middle class without being a millionaire on paper.

    • @nickc247
      @nickc247 ปีที่แล้ว

      @cleverlilvixen Of course they did! They also had a lot of help, great timing, and luck! That doesn't mean they didn't also work hard themselves along the way.

    • @cleverlilvixen
      @cleverlilvixen ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nickc247 ok, great point. They worked hard. But not as hard as millions of poor people who hold multiple jobs and side hustles just to barely make it from paycheck to paycheck, so saying “they worked hard for their money” doesn’t justify the separation for me.
