But how could he know? He got shot before us, he was already dead when we were shot 😞
@@Sim-Ona That is a good point.
The hole Warf left behind in the Detective's heart is a metaphor for when he shot him in the heart... and left a hole.
And you mean that literally, metaphorically and euphemistically.
Not for anything else. No...

You know what my favourite scene is that isn't serious and backed up by lore?
*wilford softly shushing a gun like it's a child*
11:31-11:37
Right! I love that one because it's just so absurd
The fact that you say it isn't backed up by lore means you know nothing about the lore. Markiplier literally explained it in a video. Nothing is meant to make sense, it doesn't need to, you're too focused of the minutiae.
I love the squish sound stache makes when he Hugs Abe.
@@samwarren6008ooohh i thought it HAVE to make sense, thanks for clarifying mate
Also, the thumbnail is a mirrored version of that scene . Just with the mustache being pink
I just realized something. Wilford recognizes Abe after he says, "just so you could distance yourself from the real name you should be called...murderer". Before that moment, Abe has said he's murdered people, that he's a killer, but he doesn't say murderer. Think back to the last scenes of WKM. Right before the Colonel shoots Abe, Abe calls him a murderer. The reason Wilford recognizes Abe not when he first meets him but after Abe calls him a murderer is probably because the last sane memory that Will has of him is Abe yelling that he's a murderer...just as he is now.
Anyway I'm crying
Damn im crying too
I like the end for the colonel he's lost it but still thinks that damien and co are still alive

To me, Wilford Warfstache is the perfect paradox of a character. On the surface, he's a psychotic murderer who treats death like a joke. But when you look at the context of the world he finds himself in, he's really the sweetest character in these stories. He genuinely wants to help Abe understand what's going on and gives him the opportunity to take a break from his role as "The Detective". Wilford is by far my favorite of Mark's characters.
I'd say Wilford is one of the only truly good characters of mark
In case anyone is coming here from "In Space with Markiplier", the moment everyone is referencing is at 05:05.

It's been 4 years and I still keep coming back to this a lot, and everytime it still gets me emotional. I love this do much
This is so beautifully tragic... Warfstache was born out of pure madness, and yet, he's the sanest one of all the characters in who killed Markiplier. He's not motivated by vengeance like Mark, Dark and the Detective. He's simply come to terms with the nonsensicalness of his life. He's no longer questioning his own reality, he just accepts anything that comes his way. It makes me want to cry...
To make a character that everyone believed to be insane turn out to be the most mentality stable was a great choice, I think that's why Wilford is my favorite out of all the egos.
Wow all this time i was thinking that the most insain looking person was the murderer and kinda was but wooooooow had to be the most enchanting thing that i have ever seen in all my life
I think he’s the least sane for that very reason.... think about it, living a life with no meaning, no consequence, no questioning of anything just flipping through life as if nothing was to come if it. That of itself is enough to make someone descend into madness. kind of the same thing as floating through space with no task nothing to do no reason to still be there but yet you stay, for what reason?

@@sirsponge9633 Yes and no. The reality they are in doesn't make sense, but Will's sanity is so low, he decided to just go with the flow a long time ago, and because of that he is capable of unintentionally bending reality. Alyssa Swift just because it’s all in his head doesn’t mean it’s not real.
That part gave me chills and I just sat here thinking "holy sh*t!". Its sooo good!!
Who’s mark? I only see Wilfred Warfstache.
I love this 😥
The dancing montage is just to aesthetically pleasing with it being on beat and the choreography *chefs kiss*
Man, Mark made this masterpiece 5 years ago, I can't wait to see what absolute marvelous work he's done with Iron Lung

Hey Damien I've got a great idea let do a tv show

Listen, friend.
It was a bit of a shock for me, too.
Life needed a bit of madness, but...
Why should death be any different ?
But i think the stress, is getting to you a little bit. You need to unwind.
You're- you're a freshly born fawn, trying to find your legs in the world that doesn't make sense.
So, just for tonight...
Let's forget about all the- th- the chasing and, the killing and, the shooty shooty bang bang, "God, you're a murderer!"
And just for tonight...
Why don't we...
Have a little fun ?
5 Years later, still a masterpiece. He made a piece if art, willingly or unwillingly.
This is the most heartbreaking comedy there ever has been.
"Just as you can't survive a bullet... To the heart"
I cried, just for a second, but I cried.
Same

If you want I'll digital cuddle you 👀

I don't think Wilford is actually teleporting, I think Wilford is actually moving and the Detective's obssession of catching Wilford that made him think that he knows where Wilford is, it has to do with his mental state at the moment. It's symbolic on how the Detective thinks that he knows where Wilford is, but Wilford is always one step ahead of him.
I have to disagree, in WKM Abe was shot. William after accidentally killing three people is driven crazy trying to convince himself he’s not a murderer, becoming Wilford. At the end wilford says “Just like it’s impossible to survive a bullet to the heart”. Abe is dead, this whole video wasn’t real, that’s why wilford can teleport, because this reality isn’t real to begin with, like a dream.
@@Natureguy-le8pl agreed but i think they’ve a point. his teleporting means something. it’s not just for laughs
According to the 2 hours long explanation of this video, (or at least what I can remember) Mark said that "what isn't seen on camera doesn't exist".
Wilford is a character, just like Abe and everyone else. The haunted mansion's evil entity permanently scarred him when he went insane, now he is partially free from the bounds of this fictional world. Everytime Wilford is not in the visual he is able to appear wherever he wants in the next scene. He doesn't understand how he does it, he doesn't understand anything anymore, he just accepted that life is a bit crazy for him.
When Abe literally shoots him, Wilford does not get injured because the bullet was not shown to hit in on camera, so it might as well never have happened, Wilford can literlly ignore it.
You can also see at 5:09 that he appeares on camera with a drink but quickly realizes he's not supposed to be there so he backs off.
That's also why he claims he never killed anybody, all the people he shot are not really dead, only the "characters" are.
Abe is being used in this story to fill the role of the detective and when Wilford gently crashes reality around him he starts realizing how he doesn't really know anything besides the words he's supposed to say.
When Wilford says "We all did it" he talks about the book "murder on the orient express" where there's a detective, and Abe is the character of the detective so he can fill that role.
When Abe reads Wilford's nicknames he gets surprised by "Wingle hymer" like it's the first time he's reading it, which wouldn't make any sense for someone that supposedly collected all these informations. He didn't.
As he says, "He always had them".
And finally, the bullet.
Abe says that he's been shot in the chest more than once, because that's his character, that's his role at the moment. But when confronted with Wilford, who points out how absurd this is, who says "Oh really? So you're claiming you're the same Abe who I shot in the heart? I'm sorry how did you survive that??" he realizes it doesn't really make sense. The hole reappeares on his chest. Abe survived that literally because of "plot reasons" but Wilford's reality bending presence makes this "plot hole" impossible to ignore.
It doesn't make sense.
Why are we here?
What are we doing?
The plot has been deranged.
Might as well have fun at the ball room while we figure this mess out, right?
@@arkaix well put.
@@arkaix you mean whats not seen by the viewer isn't real? Since he also say that the camera is the viewer (into more simplified term technically we are behind the screen) it kinda doesn't make sense but ok...
5:10 its all connected
finish space with mark part 2
it all makes sense
im not joking ive watched the dancing scene like 12 times just because its so smooth and hits
The entire car scene is genius. I love how everybit of it especially the running gag with the martini..
I love this bit!
Abe: *out loud* HOW ARE YOU IN MY HEAD?!
Wilford: *out loud* WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?!
Abe: *thinking* GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!
Wilford: *thinking* YOU'RE STILL SHOUTING!
That part friggin kills me every time! XD

Maybe it was a reference to DAMIEN and the fact that he hears Wilford in the forest hence the "I should stop by"
@@iregreteverything939 *THATS EVEN SADDER*
@@iregreteverything939 He actually confirms this in Why Killed Markiplier!
i love how wilford has the same reality bending capabilities as he had in who killed markiplier
Can we just take a long moment to appreciate how intricate and vast the Markiplier Cinematic Universe is? We’re connecting everything here! From DAMIEN, to In Space With Markiplier, to Who Killed Markiplier?, it’s all so good! We need a Netflix series or something about the MarkCU!!
I feel for the colonel. He didn't mean to kill anyone. He was set up to kill mark and accidentally killed the viewer and ends up going insane for it. It's so dark and sad but amazing and such great art. Everything lines up and connects and this is a masterpiece.
@JF_Abridged I mean the only bad thing he did on purpose was that Affair, not a good reason to hate on them like there your arch nemesis or something.
Actually he went insane after his friends got back up, because he saw death as meaningless.
@JF_Abridged Mark framed one friend and stole the body of the other
@JF_Abridged Mark later stated in a video that Celine and the Colonel never had an affair. He just helped her runaway from that awful house and marriage, taking her super far away. The Colonel loved her, but they never actually had an affair. However ActorMark was left convinced William “took her” away from him and seduced her....never accepting the fact that maybe she left on her own accord because he was a horrible, narcissistic husband who lived in a creepy haunted house.
But no... the man himself confirmed William and Celine never had an affair, albeit speculated by Abe and a vengeful ActorMark.
@JF_Abridged At the end of WKM Celine even says to us after we’re shot, “[The Colonel] he’s a good man... he’s just... dangerous now.”
Warfstache was once a good man before he hit his breaking point... and in “Wilford Motherloving Warfstache” that good man part of him emerges briefly with some clarity to help who he considers a friend (Abe) cope through a bizarre shock. That is the good Colonel speaking in those moments, before his tattered mind transitioned back to the depths of Warfstache.
Warfstache is the type of person I would imagine some immortal gods would be like.
He is an Immortal god
He's basically Sheogorath from Skyrim.
