We all thought the line in the Wilford video, "Do you remember when we got stuck in the snow? Ah it probably hasn't happened yet.", was just a line saying that Wilford has powers and nothing else, but it was *much* more than just a simple line.
@@pugtie4695 My theory is: Actor Mark had a party to try and set his plan into motion. His plan was to kill himself, frame Damien or The Mayor as the murderer so everyone would turn on him and make his life horrible so he can be praised and remembered as the good guy. But his plan goes sideways when people start framing the wrong people and then killing them. The Butler, Chef, The Mayor and the Grounds keeper all left before they got killed.The Colonel is the only person who survived and he shot Abe (The Detective) in the heart out of anger and stress. Actor Marks soul haunts the house and torments The Colonel making him stressed, guilt driven and crazy. He finally leaves the house and goes on to some other country, dying his mustache pink and his suspenders fading over time. The house gets worn down into a small mess and with Actor Marks soul still inside just waiting. The Colonel changes his name to Wilford Warfstache to hide his identity from Celine a.k.a Actor Marks ex wife. Wilford messes with time and accidentally bring Abe back. Abe is surprised and discovers that Wilford killed more than one person but he tracks Wilford down for so long that he forgets the main objective - find out what happened that night in the manor. Wilford time skipped to way after that night happened. Celine and Damien go on a trip and suddenly they find themselves back in that same house, but it's more torn down. So for months, Damien and Celine both go chop down trees for fire wood and then Actor Mark speaks to Damien. Celine doesnt believe him and goes out anyway. Next thing you know Actor Mark, Celine and Damien are all in a void, under the ice. Actor Mark says he sorry for all that he has done and for framing him but if Celine didnt leave him for Wilford, none of this would have happened. Then Celine breaks the ice and kills Actor Mark but his demonic soul breaks lose and infects Damien and Damien or The Mayor agrees to Actor Mark to be the villain in Actor Marks story to keep Celine safe. That turns Damien into the blue side of Darkiplier. Celine floats up to the surface of the lake but never makes it out so she dies in the process and makes the red side of Darkiplier. Darkiplier is the body of Actor Mark and the souls of Damien and Celine. BUT THATS JUST A THEORY!! (this took 40 minutes to type because my phone kept lagging, sorry if this doesnt make sense😅 have a good day/night😊)
Ending on a jumpscare, huh? I'd have expected Warfstache to grab Dark by the shoulder like "Oh, there you are, Damien! I've been looking all over for you!"
Mark: wanted to make Dark a character the fandom couldn't romanticize. Also Mark: proceeds to give Dark a tragic backstory that paints himself as the villain and reveals that Dark/Damien was a good person at heart who was manipulated and tricked into becoming evil.

my question is what was the point in who killed marks ending having been dark's backstory(the character becoming dark in the end) then we get this also showing us another backstory of dark and who was the guy hunting him if Damien is dark? or is all of this in Damien's head to explain it better?
@@aklato7258 DAMIEN takes place directly after WKM. It is kind of in his head. The guy chasing him is Actor Mark who was the dead guy in WKM, he basically stole Damien's body which forced Celine to steal the viewers body for Damien and her to control. Actor Mark is waking Damien up in this story, as Celine has been keeping him in the dark (lol). He wants Damien to wake up so he can be the villain in The Actors story because every story needs a villain and The Actor thinks he's the hero. Hope I helped clear it up a little, sorry if it sounded confusing or ramble-y.
I think Markiplier said it was more like showing that the seasons are changing like the world around them in the Damien Explained video but I can definitely see that too
Wilford asking "why'd the music stop?" in the distance means that Damien can not only hear what's happening outside of this prison he's found himself in, but also means that "Wilford "MOTHERLOVING" Warfstache" takes place at the same time as "DAMIEN". "Why'd the music stop?" is one of Wilford's lines from WMW, when the Detective (Abe) corners him in a disco. This is furthered by Abe yelling "YOU killed People!". That's closer to the end of WMW, which means time moves faster outside of "DAMIEN" than it does inside.
@hasith mayanga I'm not sure. I thought this took place during WKM since at the end that seems to be when Damien is brought back to the real world and has Darkiplier powers in the post credit scene. But since Wilford said he should to stop by and visit Damien plus Wilford was intended to show up at the end of DAMIEN so it has to have taken place during Wilford Motherloving Warfstache
I think I heard at some point that the entirety of Damien (the continued loop included) takes place in the moment when the viewer grabs the cane in WKM (the viewer takes the cane, Damien happens, then the switch to darkiplier) i dunno i might be making that up
@@faoneill I personally think that Damien and Celine are in our body with an entity and Celine is trying to safe Damien, that's why she's keeping him in this eternal winter. Not sure from what exactly she's saving him from, maybe from being corrupted by the entity. When he convinces her to let him help her, that's when Darkiplier is created - mix of Damien, Celine, and the entity. Also Mark said that Wilford Motherloving Warfstache is happening right after WKM, that's why Abe doesn't know where the information is from, it was just given to him and his brain tried to fill in the blanks.

Already in the body of DA. In WKM? it would be that time between us agreeing to let them in and Darkiplier looking into the mirror after he (they?) threw us out of our body. But that's just my theory
I just realized two things. 1: When Damien looked in the mirror he said “Why can’t I see myself?”. Because he’s not in his own body. 2: The voice right after (presumably Mark) says “You aren’t quite feeling like yourself, are you?” Because he isn’t himself.
So then, back to that scene in wkm, in that moment were the viewer died and was trapped in the house's void with Celine and Damien's spirits.. this whole video took place right before the viewer ended up there. Celene explains what happened and why they and the viewer were trapped there. And at that point, Damien, still somewhat confused, had accepted that he had no other choice but to play as Mark's villain. Celene and Damien go to explain that the viewer is dead now but that she can put Damien in your broken but still usable body and essentially seek vengeance for the both of them.. and look for a way to get Celene and the viewer's spirits out of the house's curse. When the viewer "wakes up", they are still themselves for a bit, as shown by the thinner hand grabbing Damien's staff, and then Celene's "transfer" kicks in and the thinner hand changes to the more robust hand belonging to Damien. When he looks at the mirror, he gives a serious look and leaves without the camera following behind, implying that he's left the viewer trapped in the mirror (or the house, still the same), but giving them a sort of reassuring look that he'll get the job done, for Celene and your (the viewer's) sake. At least that's my theory so far and from the bits and pieces I've found in the comments. Feel free to add or correct me since I'm not the one to make theories often.

There’s no book you have to read through titled “The Darkness Within” or some shit. Just a series of productions on a singular TH-cam channel. All that leaves on our end is chronological order and filling in the gaps. He sometimes goes Gravity Falls with secret codes like a Heist With Markiplier, but that’s it. Is the Darkiplier story hard to follow? Yes, I won’t argue with that statement. But it is *WAY* below the heights of stuff like FNAF. Oh my goodness, I never saw that part before.. Oh, and I'm not sure if you saw this secret yet, but look at the end of WKM. The last episode. Past the credits, and you'll find a disturbing surprise.
Backstory: Celine who was married to Mark cheated on him with Marks best friend the Colonel. Mark in a revenge filled rage secluded himself from everyone he knew and let his rage manifest and grow. A few years later Mark invites some of the people who betrayed him to his house for a celebration along with some of his other friends to keep it seemingly authentic. After everyone arrives, Mark kills himself but transports his soul into Damien's body. Mark traps Celine and sends her soul away with Damiens. Colonel sees that the detective is investigating him and freaks out, in a heated rage he accidentally shoots the detective, then shoots you, the viewer. You are sent to the place where Celine and Damiens souls are imprisoned and with the help of Celine's black magic Damien is brought back into your old body. The Colonel sees you alive again which drives him insane turning him into Wilford "MOTHERLOVING" Warfstache. Also I am living for these series and this content.
I am still so damn confused but oh my god does it make so much more sense. How someone can put together such a well thought out, amazing story I have no damn clue.
The Markiplier Cinematic Universe is one of the most promising things about the coming decade. I honestly think that the culmination of these videos should be an actual feature length movie.

DAMIEN Definitely happened at the same time when in space was happening. The whole reason why Darkiplier wasn't in space with the captain is because Celine was controling him. And when Celine controls the body, it's Ms. Whitcre who takes the front. Until Celine is put the sleep by Mark's changes, that's when Darkiplier/Damien is brought to life by the flood. (I miss Damien so much ;-;)

so basically... the full story so far is.... after the "death" of markiplier which was just a plot to get the power to seek revenge on celine and his old friends... they investigated and after the investigation.... the colonel went insane turning into some serial killer who had strange abilities he could not control or understand........ and damien was trapped in a dream like state after celine put his mind into the body of the person from "who killed markiplier" so in order to protect damien... celine kept him in the dream on loop... then markiplier broke the loop and corrupted his body.. making damien the "villain" aka darkiplier and now if im correct we have to wait a year for the next video since the "who killed markiplier" was done in 2017... the wilfred warfstache video was done in 2018 and damien was done in 2019..... this story is more complex than the legend of zelda franchise...

Yea Absolutely Stunning The art in the story just drew me in and made me so much more perceptible of what the characters are going through and what was maybe going through their minds just amazing work
The saddest thing about this is, to us, in the “real world,” Mark is the hero of the story. A nice guy that was screwed over by all his friends. But really he’s the one that ruined all of their lives just because of his own selfish actions. And Darkiplier is really the manifestation of Damien and Celine’s souls trying to live with the rejection and fallout of Mark basically taking their lives and making them pawns to forces none of them could control. Dark lives to haunt Mark for what he’s done, but Mark haunts Dark to live

This is really interesting. I like how Mark is a goofy, fun TH-camr, but he can still tell deep and touching stories. This is truly a masterpiece of Marks.
Some of the stuff in the video Wilford Motherlovin Warstache is relevant to this so here you go. "Celine my heart still beats for her this day but if she saw me she'd probably carve mine out" "Oh the train! Oh I remember the train. How long were we stuck in the snow for?...probably hasn't happened yet...little spoiler alert for later to make it easier: we all did it" Wilford says all these things when he's talking to the detective. I just thought these lines were interesting and fit with what's happening here.
I noticed that, too--the whole heart-carving thing. I don't know if it's just parallels, or has some more significance. She really did seem to carve his heart out at the end there, though, didn't she? But I think the whole train caught in the snow thing was a reference to the Orient Express by Agatha Christie, a famous mystery novelist. Everyone gets stuck on a train caught in an avalanche, and it turns out that everybody had conspired together to kill the victim, hence Wilford saying "Hint: We all did it". Probably really driving home the whole detective-cliche of Abe's, that he's just a walking detective role and has no memories beyond his screentime, aka, importance to the plot.

I didn't realize Mark had this extensive of a philosophical imagination. That's not an insult. I just thought his imagination was just more down to earth. This is awesome.

Of course, if she saw me, she would probably carve my heart out" These videos are creating one massive web that, apart, dont make sense, but they are starting to form puzzle pieces that are all slowly coming together. In the moments right as Celine says "This is the only way to escape, just relax." followed by Damien stating "This will work, I promise"... Fueled by the theme of choice in Who killed Markiplier... It seems ALL of 'Damien' could have happened in our transition back out. Think about it, when we "come out" the mirror cracks just as the 'Place for broken things' cracks. And we watch who is now Damien being in control and ready to be that "villain" going after Mark the actor. Celine is still alive, just FINALLY resting after spending so long "preserving" what life is left to attain. And if your wondering about all that time... death is a state of eternity (or that space between death). Eternity can happen in a moment if that makes sense. Mark (Fischbach) has made it very clear that us as the audience is always a CHARACTER in this story so it would make sense for us to witness what happens in Damien (all though that minutia of a detail may barely matter).
Michelle O'Conner Mark actually says at one point in his livestream where he breaks down this video that these events on the timeline would take place right at the end of WKM when you’re going to grab Damien’s cane, like in that split second before you grab it, so you’re pretty close with this. I like it
When I see one of these comments I just think there is no such thing as good and bad to the "villain" he is doing something good and for the "hero" he is doing good but to the villain he is bad and to the hero the villain is bad

Patiently waiting for a 3 hour explanation in which mark just gushes about the artwork and lighting on the artwork plus the soundtrack and doesn't actually explain a single god damn thing about wtf I just watched. Here's what I get from this: We've been seeing Mark's side of the story this whole time. _His_ villian was Dark, or Celine and Damien, so that's who we were taught was evil. Damien and Celine (as Dark) are actually good, and Mark is the bad guy. Meaning, from now on, we're gonna see a whole new perspective. So keep that in mind. Thanks for reading! Please let me know your opinions or thoughts- I'm not a very good theorist. Edit: Thanks for everyone that gave me input on this! Decaf [Invidia] brought up a good point when they mentioned the evil spirit that Dark also includes, along with Celine and Damien. I'm thinking now that maybe the spirit is controlling Dark at the moment (which is why he's so creepy) and that with the help of a third party (Warfstache, perhaps, since he can understand the broken time and space) they'll be able to break free of its control and steer Dark in a better direction. Now that I think about it, Mark of that universe might be an illusion from the evil spirit itself. Maybe he was trying to get Damien to submit, to give in to its power and forget about Celine. I'm not sure. I don't know the villain at this point, but I'll make another theory on the next video that comes out about this.

People seem to forget that Darkiplier is made of three different entities during the events of WKM: Damien, Celine, and the TOTALLY EVIL ENITITY THAT DAMIEN GAVE INTO AT THE END OF THIS VIDEO. EDIT: Darkiplier is described by Mark as a social manipulator, he will do anything to gain your trust and take advantage of you. Isn't it strange that instead of a live action sketch like with Markiplier TV or W "ML" W, we get a comparatively easier to direct, in a sense, animated back story? Who's to say Darkiplier isn't just tricking the viewers into rooting for him with a backstory of questionable detail? What is the complete truth? And whose perspective are we looking through?

@@neckheadishere so I watched the stream about this, apparently the train reference was actually literally referring to “The Orient Express”. Because there’s a detective in that book and the train gets stuck in the snow and yes, they all did it. Apparently there’s a character that COULD be Wilford in it. So like, the detective is the detective always. That’s who he is. That’s his character. The detective.
He was referencing a movie. Its called oriental express. Its about people on a train going some where. When all of the sudden someone lies dead and the detective aboard is trying to figure out who did it. In the end it turns out everyone on the train took part in the death of this man, each stabbing him in the heart while he was asleep. How does this connect to what the cornel or "wilford" said? I don't really know but I would love to hear your theory. Maybe there is something in the movie mark is trying to make us find that will help with the story line?
I like how every time he does one of these projects he does it in a special format (choose your own adventure, first person, multiple episode series, and now animation)
I don't think that was Mark. Think about it; why would Mark want to reduce Damien, his childhood friend, to a villain? His goal was to get revenge on Will. Damien and Celine were just lost in the fray. *Mark didn't even know about the chaotic energy in the house, yet the "Mark" in here, mentioned a deal.* Plus his voice sounded so broken, disconnected, like it wasn't his own. (Plus the flashing red and blue should be a big red flag, along with that demonic disappearing act of his.) The chaotic energy wanted out so it used Mark's figure, mannerisms, and angst to give them both a false look at the man who did this to them, and give them an objective, something to focus their anger on together and in the process, give life to Darkiplier and give the chaotic energy a powerful and determined vessel to leave with.

I honestly love the passion mark has for the story of Darkiplier. All of the lore he made for it and all of the projects that continue to add depth to the characters is amazing. It is honestly unlike anything else you can find on TH-cam. His dedication to the story and the number of projects he has that connect to it is astounding for something that is found on TH-cam.
Pretty much went from a gag the fans thought up when he did his slight creepy moments in videos to a character who was a kind-hearted soul tricked into becoming the manipulative monster we think of him as. Really puts into perspective how much of a tragic being Darkiplier really is. Probably is why he is so cold to us at times, he knows what Actor Mark did to Damien, the DA and Celine and doesn't want anyone to get hurt like that again

Actor Mark had a party to try and set his plan into motion. His plan was to kill himself, frame Damien or The Mayor as the murderer so everyone would turn on him and make his life horrible so he can be praised and remembered as the good guy. But his plan goes sideways when people start framing the wrong people and then killing them. The Butler, Chef, The Mayor and the Grounds keeper all left before they got killed.The Colonel is the only person who survived and he shot Abe (The Detective) in the heart out of anger and stress. Actor Marks soul haunts the house and torments The Colonel making him stressed, guilt driven and crazy. He finally leaves the house and goes on to some other country, dying his mustache pink and his suspenders fading over time. The house gets worn down into a small mess and with Actor Marks soul still inside just waiting. The Colonel changes his name to Wilford Warfstache to hide his identity from Celine a.k.a Actor Marks ex wife. Wilford messes with time and accidentally bring Abe back. Abe is surprised and discovers that Wilford killed more than one person but he tracks Wilford down for so long that he forgets the main objective - find out what happened that night in the manor. Wilford time skipped to way after that night happened. Celine and Damien go on a trip and suddenly they find themselves back in that same house, but it's more torn down. So for months, Damien and Celine both go chop down trees for fire wood and then Actor Mark speaks to Damien. Celine doesnt believe him and goes out anyway. Next thing you know Actor Mark, Celine and Damien are all in a void, under the ice. Actor Mark says he sorry for all that he has done and for framing him but if Celine didnt leave him for Wilford, none of this would have happened. Then Celine breaks the ice and kills Actor Mark but his demonic soul breaks lose and infects Damien and Damien or The Mayor agrees to Actor Mark to be the villain in Actor Marks story to keep Celine safe. That turns Damien into the blue side of Darkiplier. Celine floats up to the surface of the lake but never makes it out so she dies in the process and makes the red side of Darkiplier. Darkiplier is the body of Actor Mark and the souls of Damien and Celine. BUT THATS JUST A THEORY!! (this took 40 minutes to type because my phone kept lagging, sorry if this doesnt make sense😅 have a good day/night😊)

The guy chasing him is Actor Mark who was the dead guy in WKM, he basically stole Damien's body which forced Celine to steal the viewers body for Damien and her to control. Actor Mark is waking Damien up in this story, as Celine has been keeping him in the dark (lol). He wants Damien to wake up so he can be the villain in The Actors story because every story needs a villain and The Actor thinks he's the hero. Hope I helped clear it up a little, sorry if it sounded confusing or ramble-y.

Mark explained in a stream 2 years back that the pink flower was, in fact, a representation of wilford
Wilford asking "why'd the music stop?" in the distance means that Damien can not only hear what's happening outside of this prison he's found himself in, but also means that "Wilford "MOTHERLOVING" Warfstache" takes place at the same time as "DAMIEN".
"Why'd the music stop?" is one of Wilford's lines from WMW, when the Detective (Abe) corners him in a disco.
This is furthered by Abe yelling "YOU killed People!". That's closer to the end of WMW, which means time moves faster outside of "DAMIEN" than it does inside.

So then, back to that scene in wkm, in that moment were the viewer died and was trapped in the house's void with Celine and Damien's spirits.. this whole video took place right before the viewer ended up there. Celene explains what happened and why they and the viewer were trapped there. And at that point, Damien, still somewhat confused, had accepted that he had no other choice but to play as Mark's villain. Celene and Damien go to explain that the viewer is dead now but that she can put Damien in your broken but still usable body and essentially seek vengeance for the both of them.. and look for a way to get Celene and the viewer's spirits out of the house's curse. When the viewer "wakes up", they are still themselves for a bit, as shown by the thinner hand grabbing Damien's staff, and then Celene's "transfer" kicks in and the thinner hand changes to the more robust hand belonging to Damien. When he looks at the mirror, he gives a serious look and leaves without the camera following behind, implying that he's left the viewer trapped in the mirror (or the house, still the same), but giving them a sort of reassuring look that he'll get the job done, for Celene and your (the viewer's) sake.
At least that's my theory so far and from the bits and pieces I've found in the comments. Feel free to add or correct me since I'm not the one to make theories often.

There’s no book you have to read through titled “The Darkness Within” or some shit. Just a series of productions on a singular TH-cam channel. All that leaves on our end is chronological order and filling in the gaps. He sometimes goes Gravity Falls with secret codes like a Heist With Markiplier, but that’s it. Is the Darkiplier story hard to follow? Yes, I won’t argue with that statement. But it is *WAY* below the heights of stuff like FNAF. A few years later Mark invites some of the people who betrayed him to his house for a celebration along with some of his other friends to keep it seemingly authentic. After everyone arrives, Mark kills himself but transports his soul into Damien's body. Mark traps Celine and sends her soul away with Damiens. Colonel sees that the detective is investigating him and freaks out, in a heated rage he accidentally shoots the detective, then shoots you, the viewer. You are sent to the place where Celine and Damiens souls are imprisoned and with the help of Celine's black magic Damien is brought back into your old body. The Colonel sees you alive again which drives him insane turning him into Wilford "MOTHERLOVING" Warfstache.
Also I am living for these series and this content.

so basically... the full story so far is.... after the "death" of markiplier which was just a plot to get the power to seek revenge on celine and his old friends... they investigated and after the investigation.... the colonel went insane turning into some serial killer who had strange abilities he could not control or understand........ and damien was trapped in a dream like state after celine put his mind into the body of the person from "who killed markiplier" so in order to protect damien... celine kept him in the dream on loop... then markiplier broke the loop and corrupted his body.. making damien the "villain" aka darkiplier and now if im correct we have to wait a year for the next video since the "who killed markiplier" was done in 2017... the wilfred warfstache video was done in 2018 and damien was done in 2019..... this story is more complex than the legend of zelda franchise...

The saddest thing about this is, to us, in the “real world,” Mark is the hero of the story. A nice guy that was screwed over by all his friends. But really he’s the one that ruined all of their lives just because of his own selfish actions. And Darkiplier is really the manifestation of Damien and Celine’s souls trying to live with the rejection and fallout of Mark basically taking their lives and making them pawns to forces none of them could control. Dark lives to haunt Mark for what he’s done, but Mark haunts Dark to live

This is really interesting. I like how Mark is a goofy, fun TH-camr, but he can still tell deep and touching stories. This is truly a masterpiece of Marks.

Wilford says all these things when he's talking to the detective. I just thought these lines were interesting and fit with what's happening here.
I noticed that, too--the whole heart-carving thing. I don't know if it's just parallels, or has some more significance. She really did seem to carve his heart out at the end there, though, didn't she?
But I think the whole train caught in the snow thing was a reference to the Orient Express by Agatha Christie, a famous mystery novelist. Everyone gets stuck on a train caught in an avalanche, and it turns out that everybody had conspired together to kill the victim, hence Wilford saying "Hint: We all did it". Probably really driving home the whole detective-cliche of Abe's, that he's just a walking detective role and has no memories beyond his screentime, aka, importance to the plot.
I think the whole train line is just a tongue in cheek reference to Murder on the Orient Express

It seems ALL of 'Damien' could have happened in our transition back out.
Think about it, when we "come out" the mirror cracks just as the 'Place for broken things' cracks. And we watch who is now Damien being in control and ready to be that "villain" going after Mark the actor.
Celine is still alive, just FINALLY resting after spending so long "preserving" what life is left to attain. And if your wondering about all that time... death is a state of eternity (or that space between death). Eternity can happen in a moment if that makes sense.
Mark (Fischbach) has made it very clear that us as the audience is always a CHARACTER in this story so it would make sense for us to witness what happens in Damien (all though that minutia of a detail may barely matter).
That actually sounds like a pretty decent theory.

Here's what I get from this:
We've been seeing Mark's side of the story this whole time. _His_ villian was Dark, or Celine and Damien, so that's who we were taught was evil.
Damien and Celine (as Dark) are actually good, and Mark is the bad guy.
Meaning, from now on, we're gonna see a whole new perspective. So keep that in mind.

Edit: Thanks for everyone that gave me input on this! Decaf [Invidia] brought up a good point when they mentioned the evil spirit that Dark also includes, along with Celine and Damien. I'm thinking now that maybe the spirit is controlling Dark at the moment (which is why he's so creepy) and that with the help of a third party (Warfstache, perhaps, since he can understand the broken time and space) they'll be able to break free of its control and steer Dark in a better direction.
Now that I think about it, Mark of that universe might be an illusion from the evil spirit itself. Maybe he was trying to get Damien to submit, to give in to its power and forget about Celine. I'm not sure. I don't know the villain at this point, but I'll make another theory on the next video that comes out about this.

People seem to forget that Darkiplier is made of three different entities during the events of WKM: Damien, Celine, and the TOTALLY EVIL ENITITY THAT DAMIEN GAVE INTO AT THE END OF THIS VIDEO.
EDIT: Darkiplier is described by Mark as a social manipulator, he will do anything to gain your trust and take advantage of you. Isn't it strange that instead of a live action sketch like with Markiplier TV or W "ML" W, we get a comparatively easier to direct, in a sense, animated back story?
Who's to say Darkiplier isn't just tricking the viewers into rooting for him with a backstory of questionable detail? What is the complete truth? And whose perspective are we looking through?

He was referencing a movie. Its called oriental express. Its about people on a train going some where. When all of the sudden someone lies dead and the detective aboard is trying to figure out who did it. In the end it turns out everyone on the train took part in the death of this man, each stabbing him in the heart while he was asleep. How does this connect to what the cornel or "wilford" said? I don't really know but I would love to hear your theory. Maybe there is something in the movie mark is trying to make us find that will help with the story line?

I don't think that was Mark. Think about it; why would Mark want to reduce Damien, his childhood friend, to a villain? His goal was to get revenge on Will. Damien and Celine were just lost in the fray. *Mark didn't even know about the chaotic energy in the house, yet the "Mark" in here, mentioned a deal.*
Plus his voice sounded so broken, disconnected, like it wasn't his own. (Plus the flashing red and blue should be a big red flag, along with that demonic disappearing act of his.)
The chaotic energy wanted out so it used Mark's figure, mannerisms, and angst to give them both a false look at the man who did this to them, and give them an objective, something to focus their anger on together and in the process, give life to Darkiplier and give the chaotic energy a powerful and determined vessel to leave with.

I honestly love the passion mark has for the story of Darkiplier. All of the lore he made for it and all of the projects that continue to add depth to the characters is amazing. It is honestly unlike anything else you can find on TH-cam. His dedication to the story and the number of projects he has that connect to it is astounding for something that is found on TH-cam.
Pretty much went from a gag the fans thought up when he did his slight creepy moments in videos to a character who was a kind-hearted soul tricked into becoming the manipulative monster we think of him as. Really puts into perspective how much of a tragic being Darkiplier really is. Probably is why he is so cold to us at times, he knows what Actor Mark did to Damien, the DA and Celine and doesn't want anyone to get hurt like that again
