*Curriculum Vitae P. Picasso* 1881 October 25: Pablo Picasso (eigtl. Pablo Ruiz y Picasso) is born in Malaga, the son of the painter José Ruiz Blasco and his wife María Picasso López. 1896 Visit to the art school in Barcelona. 1897 Studied at the Academia San Fernando in Madrid. 1900 Publication of illustrations by newspapers in Barcelona. First trip to Paris. 1901 He begins to sign his work with "Picasso". Together with a friend, he publishes the magazine "Arte Joven". 1901-1904 In his "blue period" Picasso develops his first own style with melancholy figurative pictures, which are held in different shades of blue. During this time he also begins to turn to sculpture ("Seated Woman"). 1904 After annual trips to Paris, Picasso finally moves to the French capital. He meets Fernande Olivier, who becomes his lover and model. 1905-1907 In his "pink period" Picasso prefers circus motifs in cheerful colors, as in the painting "The Jugglers". First etchings and engravings as well as the portrait of Gertrude Stein (1874-1946) are created. 1908-1917 For the new style change African masks are crucial. Picasso breaks with the prevailing aesthetics and, together with Georges Braque (1882-1963), is the founder of cubism: he prefers splintered forms and colors. The figurative is dissolved into geometric forms in works such as "Woman with Guitar" or "Ma Jolie", with the structures approaching abstraction. 1911-1914 The first "paper collés" (adhesive images) are created. As a result, Picasso introduces foreign materials such as sand, wood and sheet metal into his work. from 1915 In addition to his cubist work, Picasso also paints realistic portraits. 1917 May 18: World premiere of the ballet "Parade" in Paris. Picasso produces the stage design and the costumes for the production. The libretto was written by his friend Jean Cocteau (1889-1963), with whom he later collaborated on a case-by-case basis. On the occasion of the performance, Picasso meets the dancer Olga Koklowa. 1918 Marriage with Olga. The marriage produces a child. from 1919 Picasso's painting is increasingly "classical". He draws on ancient mythological models back. 1924-1926 He prefers to work on great abstracting still lifes. 1925 Picasso participates in the first exhibition of Surrealists in Paris with the work "Three Dancers". Surrealism offers him the possibility of encryption and the mythological exaggeration of psychic experiences. 1927 Acquaintance with Marie-Thérèse Walter, who becomes his lover and model. His work is now characterized by predominantly free figural compositions. 1928/29 Wire sculptures and the first iron sculpture arise. 1934 Inspired by a trip to Spain, he takes up the issue of bullfighting in his work. 1935 The birth of his child from the relationship with Marie-Thérèse leads to the separation of his wife. 1936 Picasso takes on the post of director of the Prado Museum in Madrid. 1937 For the Spanish pavilion at the Paris World Fair, Picasso creates the large-scale anti-war painting "Guernica" depicting the destruction of the city during the Spanish Civil War. Friendship with Dora Maar, who becomes his lover and model alongside Marie-Thérèse. The New York Times publishes a statement by Picasso in which he speaks in favor of the Government of the Second Republic in Spain. 1941 Picasso writes the Dadaist comedy "How to Grab Wishes", which is performed in 1944 under the direction of Albert Camusprivat. He makes a sculpture of Dora Maars head, which is used in 1959 as a memorial to Guillaume Apollinaire (1880-1918). Joined the Communist Party of France. from 1943 Friendship with Françoise Gilot. From this relationship two children emerge. 1945 Picasso becomes chairman of the Franco-Spanish Aid Committee for Republican Spaniards. 1945-1949 In addition to painting, lithography becomes a further means of expression that meets its spontaneous sign. from 1947 Production of ceramics. 1948 Award of the "Médaille de Reconnaissance Française" by the French Government. 1949 Picasso's lithograph "The Dove" is selected for the Poster of the Peace Congress in Paris. 1952 He writes his second play and begins work on the murals "The War" and "The Peace" for the chapel of Vallauris. Picasso and Henri Matisse (1869-1954) sign a peace call. 1958 He acquires the castle Vauvenargues. 1961 Marriage with Jacqueline Roque. 1962-1965 Concrete sculptures. 1963 Opening of the Museo Picasso in Barcelona, which later receives much of his estate. 1968 Picasso produces the two large series of etchings "Painter and Model" and "The Lovers". 1973 April 8: Pablo Picasso dies in Mougins (near Cannes). He is buried in the garden of his castle. 1985 Inauguration of the Musée Picasso in Paris. www.dhm.de/lemo/biografie/pablo-picasso

He is the prodigy. He, was born with an ability to paint. He created one of the best master-pieces when he was 14, it is absolutely amazing.

it is not the simple lines he makes, but the philosophy, thinking, and unique style that make these simple drawing masterpiece.

WOW...HOW BLIND YOU ARE. It's all about the creative process...not always about the finished product.
There's nothing creative about that it's SHIT it's just because its Picasso doesn't mean that there's some deep meaning to the drawing if that was your next door neighbour you wouldn't think anything of it

Pez
Cactus
Gallo
Cerveza
Rosas
Nice and all, but for instance I thought it maybe will be just a conventional draw to express the feelings you know althought you made that interpretation, here the true one, is the fact than no one is the only one, and that also means the reality of the things ¿how you can be sure about that meaning? What if someone do other intepretation, explaining not always that, what about something than we can assure but at the same time we knew it for the start? It's called "Qualia" this one explains how everybody are different for others, not by his thoughts, by his intepretation of them. And how did have that information?
Did you past for those things?
Haha...of course you're not gona respond me, and actually don't read everything of my comment, because you can notice for the begging how I was avoiding your comment.

People who think the only way art can be good is if it's realistic are so fucking short sighted.
I know right!
Art is supposed to make you confused and think
I remember somebody telling me
"Well as long as you can tell what it's supposed to be"
I like art that makes you think and find shapes
Also that chicken with the fish and flowers was hilarious and it's amazing what he did and it makes me laugh
Photorealism bores me to death. I want to see texture, bold colours and odd composition. I want to see a painting, not a painting that looks like a photograph.

*Curriculum Vitae P. Picasso*
1881
October 25: Pablo Picasso (eigtl. Pablo Ruiz y Picasso) is born in Malaga, the son of the painter José Ruiz Blasco and his wife María Picasso López.
1896
Visit to the art school in Barcelona.
1897
Studied at the Academia San Fernando in Madrid.
1900
Publication of illustrations by newspapers in Barcelona.
First trip to Paris.
1901
He begins to sign his work with "Picasso".
Together with a friend, he publishes the magazine "Arte Joven".
1901-1904
In his "blue period" Picasso develops his first own style with melancholy figurative pictures, which are held in different shades of blue. During this time he also begins to turn to sculpture ("Seated Woman").
1904
After annual trips to Paris, Picasso finally moves to the French capital.
He meets Fernande Olivier, who becomes his lover and model.
1905-1907
In his "pink period" Picasso prefers circus motifs in cheerful colors, as in the painting "The Jugglers". First etchings and engravings as well as the portrait of Gertrude Stein (1874-1946) are created.
1908-1917
For the new style change African masks are crucial.
1911-1914
The first "paper collés" (adhesive images) are created. As a result, Picasso introduces foreign materials such as sand, wood and sheet metal into his work.
from 1915
In addition to his cubist work, Picasso also paints realistic portraits.
1917
May 18: World premiere of the ballet "Parade" in Paris. Picasso produces the stage design and the costumes for the production. The libretto was written by his friend Jean Cocteau (1889-1963), with whom he later collaborated on a case-by-case basis. On the occasion of the performance, Picasso meets the dancer Olga Koklowa.
1918
Marriage with Olga. The marriage produces a child.
from 1919
Picasso's painting is increasingly "classical". He draws on ancient mythological models back.
1924-1926
He prefers to work on great abstracting still lifes.
1925
Picasso participates in the first exhibition of Surrealists in Paris with the work "Three Dancers". Surrealism offers him the possibility of encryption and the mythological exaggeration of psychic experiences.
1927
Acquaintance with Marie-Thérèse Walter, who becomes his lover and model.
His work is now characterized by predominantly free figural compositions.
1928/29
Wire sculptures and the first iron sculpture arise.
1934
Inspired by a trip to Spain, he takes up the issue of bullfighting in his work.
1935
The birth of his child from the relationship with Marie-Thérèse leads to the separation of his wife.
1936
Picasso takes on the post of director of the Prado Museum in Madrid.
1937
For the Spanish pavilion at the Paris World Fair, Picasso creates the large-scale anti-war painting "Guernica" depicting the destruction of the city during the Spanish Civil War.
Friendship with Dora Maar, who becomes his lover and model alongside Marie-Thérèse.
The New York Times publishes a statement by Picasso in which he speaks in favor of the Government of the Second Republic in Spain.
1941
Picasso writes the Dadaist comedy "How to Grab Wishes", which is performed in 1944 under the direction of Albert Camusprivat.
He makes a sculpture of Dora Maars head, which is used in 1959 as a memorial to Guillaume Apollinaire (1880-1918).
Joined the Communist Party of France.
from 1943
Friendship with Françoise Gilot. From this relationship two children emerge.
1945
Picasso becomes chairman of the Franco-Spanish Aid Committee for Republican Spaniards.
1945-1949
In addition to painting, lithography becomes a further means of expression that meets its spontaneous sign.
from 1947
Production of ceramics.
1948
Award of the "Médaille de Reconnaissance Française" by the French Government.
1949
Picasso's lithograph "The Dove" is selected for the Poster of the Peace Congress in Paris.
1952
He writes his second play and begins work on the murals "The War" and "The Peace" for the chapel of Vallauris.
Picasso and Henri Matisse (1869-1954) sign a peace call.
1958
He acquires the castle Vauvenargues.
1961
Marriage with Jacqueline Roque.
1962-1965
Concrete sculptures.
1963
Opening of the Museo Picasso in Barcelona, which later receives much of his estate.
1968
Picasso produces the two large series of etchings "Painter and Model" and "The Lovers".
1973

1985

No, he drew anything what matched to previous draving. There is nothing to understand. There is no hidden meaning. If you are untalented you draw shit like this, because there will be "experts" who will try to find anything in it. And they think that you are intelligent, that they are intelligent because they "discovered" it. But the only thing that is real about it is that you drew ugly shit. All about surrealism.
@@4ester704 You are wrong here. Look at the Guernica, find all the hidden messages. It is true that Picasso was a good artist. All he ever did try was to draw symbolism and not whatever his reference was. He would draw stuff from different perspectives using the lines as his method to convey feelings. I personally dislike his art because although his creativity many people are quick to bash someone doing something like this, as creative I mean, showing high up their ass some artists really are for thinking that this is art but someone else's scribbles aren't.
