I genuinely think price is just as good as the top 3 mvg, taylor and Gary in there primes when he is on. Genuinely think the sky is the limit for him and he has the discipline to do it year in and year out if he keeps goijg the way he is. Love the passion and gerwyn is slowly becoming my favourite player behind Gary anderson. Love it 👌

I think in the next 2 years you'll see Clayton as a regular fixture in the top 10. He qualified for the Matchplay and slammed MVG. Future looks bright for Wales. Good combo. You can't have all tournaments last one week. And I think some of the countries are just not good enough to play 3 games. Quite a few averaged in the 70s, I wouldn't want to watch that for 3 games

Don't take EVERY small country just because they have one good player. 16 countries is more than enough. As example: England, Wales, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Poland, Austria, Australia. That's 11. Throw in five underdogs like New Zealand, Japan, South Africa, Canada, Brazil and done. With half the countries, now instead have it "First to 10". Also play four matches in advanced stages... not only Whitlock vs Price and Heta vs Clayton but also Whitlock vs Clayton and Heta vs Price. If it ends up 2-2, have them play a final one simultaneously.

Many countries are crucial to the PDC from a commercial perspective. They are not going to throw the likes of the US, China, or even most European countries out. Pretty much all PDC tournaments are for the elite players now, I'd keep the World Cup 32 players. I seriously doubt the PDC would ever consider cutting down on a tournament like that, especially the World Cup that's very important to them from a marketing perspective and growing the game around the world.

Its always the two best ranked players playing for their countries, unless they don't want to, like Anderson/Wright or simply can't because of injury etc. But i'd be very surprised if Aspinall and Durrant aren't playing this tournament next year. Because right now, Aspinall is only 28,000 away from Rob Cross, and Cross is slowly spiralling downwards anyways. Smith has to reach the final in the worlds or he will lose a lot of points. If he exits early, he may even drop out of Top-10. Meanwhile Durrant is only 60,000 away from Top-10 and still played BDO 2 years ago. Which means, he doesn't have to defend ANY money in this world championship. If he loses in the quarterfinals he gains 50.000, if he wins, he'll get 100.000 I'll eat my hat if Durrant or Aspinall miss this tournament next year.

I'm not sure tbh. Very good player but he's really inconsistent. I think he'll remain top 16 but not higher than that.
