In every TV event this season, whoever knocked Michael out lost in their next game.
Clayton in the Masters, White in the EC, Whitlock 3 times... Even Germany in the World Cup.
And even Durrant in the world series finals! Lost to Wade after beating MVG.

Yep its similar to when people used to beat Phil Taylor. Chisnall played well against mvg but he had no pressure as it was his first win against him in 27 matches. Its no good playing that well against mvg and not making the final. Made the semi final matches sort of predictable.

i really really really REALLY hope Ando wins the world title. Gerwyn price has to be the most overtly arrogant player on the circuit, to hold the world title means to be a role model for the game. and that is definitely the last thing the pdc will get if Gerwyn wins.

Maybe a year ago or two years ago. I've watched him with a keen eye for this over-celebration and it only occurs when he makes a high checkout while trailing or when he wins a key leg with a decent performance. He doesn't celebrate a 57 or a double 5 checkout (unless it's a game set and match, but that's understandable).
For me Price is a likeable guy who makes things interesting.
@@LednacekZ by winning the world title, means you become the figurehead of that sport in that moment, meaning you are acting in a role model capacity to a lot of aspiring players. so it DOES mean you become a role model. when mo farrah won the olympic gold medal, he became a huge role model to the uk. to say that becoming the worlds greatest at something doesn't mean you become a role model just doesn't make sense.
I'm an Aussie and am always extremely happy to see Gary Anderson do well when an Aussies not there. Great demeanour.

My only issue with price is his gamesmanship. If you think him screaming when he pins a 86 isnt gamesmanship and its just hunger and desire how come he never screams when he is behind and pings a ton plus out. The guy is a great dart player no doubt about it but he is such a bad player for Darts.
Once I met him and he isn’t kind at all. I met almost every player and Brendan Dolan, Nathan Aspinall, Darren Webster etc.

I never liked Price until recently. He isn't an actual bully. He's just very good.
Nobody can like everybody, Price is a good player but has an annoying trait that makes you want to shoot a dart of a different kind into his neck. Roaring like something off safari is ugly and amateurish, the likes of Gary Anderson play the game with more dignity and professionalism and don't sound like over zealous amateurs every time they score a 180.

Anyone else just love bunting for no reason
Two semi-finals with massive pressure on Gary and Gerwen but they got it. Gary must go much better on double to win the final.
Bunting looked physically tired towards the end unlike Price. Bunting could do with losing some pounds at the gym.
Finishes:
Bunting-120, 117, 136, 148, 118.
Price-109, 140, 116, 131, 100, 128, 112, 103.
The final will be so challenging and sensitive because the last incident between Price and Anderson!
Any negative body language from Price will irritate Anderson badly!

Got to give credit to Bunting, his finishing was something else in this match. Price had, at 3-1 behind, an 107 average with 50% on the doubles. Who throws that AND is behind? Averages and double accuracy dipped then, and Price was able to take advantage of his higher average.
Well done to both, this match was certainly on par with the Cullen vs. van Gerwen one.
Garys experience showed through. Chizzy played his final yesterday. Should be a great game tomorrow. Whatever happens it's been top tournament. Even without the fans.

Price v Anderson, again! What a match that'll be! 🔥 I like Both Ando and Iceman, but I'm obviously rooting for Iceman...he's my fave player.
Thank god it is worth watching with Anderson and price. The sponsors would have ran away if it was chisnall and bunting. You know they would blow it though as they have never got so far not used to the pressure.
