Brilliant. Reminds me of the time Ian Botham walked out to bat... without his bat. He'd been drinking the night before and his team mates had dumped him in the shower running cold water over him to try and sober him up. As he strode out in his pads and gloves, but with no blade, the 12th man suddenly came up behind him and said "here Beefy, you might need this!" and handed him the missing piece of equipment. He went on to score 40 odd.

Knowing that he nearly didn't bother going to play darts basically for not reason than he really couldn't be asked and was more or less forced to go, it's hardly any suprise he forgot to take his darts on stage.

So the players actually don't bring the darts. I think it's a safety issue with the walk on. Rob cross' manager or someone from the pdc was probably in charge of putting the darts on stage. So I was told.

When you realise that all they do is move their arm and the only reason they’re good at it is because they’ve moved their arm in that motion too many times at the pub.
