3 Doors, No Hinges, Massive 3D Printer Enclosure

My previous enclosure wouldn't fit through my office room doors so I designed some new ones that could easily be disassembled and reassembled!
The new design also addresses some of the short comings of the old enclosure: Poor visibility, poor lighting, bulky, and it was hard to work on the printer. This design can be scaled to fit any size printer, even an Ender Extender 400xl!

hadn't seen the trick of clamping blocks on the side of plywood when drilling it/installing the threaded inserts. definitely going to use that.

Love the enclousure , just want i was looking for , for my comming 3d printer....just one problem..i do not have those tools you have to make it. The most sofisticated tool i have is a hammer.

I like it. Pretty much what I was trying to come up with, but I don’t know what I’m doing.
The front vertical wood pieces… are those 1x1 or 2x2? If you said, I missed it.

Now that it’s been a while, have the sliding doors maintained their slide? I live in coastal SC, and its really humid here. Wood swells like mad. Even indoors over time, sometimes. I might have to go the drill for hinges route.

The doors still slide great, but I did have to increase clearance on the slots a few weeks after I built the enclosure 🤔

Thanks! It muffles the sound but definitely doesn't stop it. I used 3mm thick acrylic, maybe 5mm+ thick would do more sound dampening
