I started to crochet on 12/31/2022 , and a couple of weeks later, I bought the Yarniss crochet hooks. I have been using nothing but those hooks since then, and I thought that they worked well. Well, I watched your video 3 days ago and went out immediately to Joanna's and used my 50% coupon for the last set of Clover Hooks in stock. I am currently crocheting my first sweater, I have timed myself with my Yarniss hooks, and I average 10:35 minutes per row on my sleeve. With my clover hooks, I average 6:45!! I am shocked! I appreciate your video!!
I had a bunch of vintage hooks and knew they would make my hands suffer if I really wanted to get into this hobby. After Toni and Elise highly reccomended them I ordered a set on Amazon. I'm thrilled to not need to "upgrade" ever. Just need the big size set sometime soonish 😅❤
I have tried a ton of hooks trying to find my special hook. FYI: you can donate hooks to children at school that has a stitching club, Girl Scouts or even nursing homes. All of which take yarn you don’t want as well. I have donated all of mine to a school club and Girl Scouts after giving a set to my niece.
Your crochet hook review was interesting. My favorite and only hook didn't make your list - Boye. Started with the Boye and will always stay with the Boye. It's sleek and slender and glides through my fingers like a dream. I don't have a death grip on my hook and wouldn't be able to work with all the modern ergonomic shaped hooks available on the market today.
I am curious now to know where you would rank the Boye hook? It’s the hook I use the most and like it very much, but am always open to trying something new. I will definitely be trying the Clover Amour. Thank you so much for your excellent review on crochet hooks!
I have not and am not planning to ever finish my The Woobles Pierre the Penguin set, and I am an absolute beginner. This is because, well, it’s hard and is incredibly time consuming. Is there anything else I can make as an absolute beginner at crochet? (This is my first crochet project, and I think I don’t have the skill to do the penguin set.)
The clover amor are my favorites too! They don’t bother the arthritis in my hands, super smooth, the soft handle holds up better than others I’ve tried. Soft spot in my heart for those hooks!
Yarniss is a perfect beginner’s set imo! it’s the set i started with and i couldn’t tell that the metal dragging was an issue until i had committed to crochet enough to upgrade to Clover Amours - without the comparison of a really smooth hook i couldn’t tell it was a problem! i highly recommend Yarniss for beginners bc it gives you everything you need and speed isn’t as much of an issue for beginners
It really is a nice set for beginners, but I do worry that some could get discouraged that the metal drags especially if they have a tight tension. 🧶🧶🧶
I'm pretty sure this is the set that my granddaughter is using and she loves them. I wouldn't say she is a beginner still but she's not had extensive experience either so like you say. She wouldn't notice the drag.
I am so glad you posted this! I placed an order for the yarnis a couple days ago and had no idea she would be reviewing them in this video til she did and I was so disappointed! But I’m a beginner and have only used all metal cheapy cheap ones from Walmart before so I’m continuing to be hopeful this yarnis set will do okay for me anyway
@@fourofcats5803 I hope you like them! I really did enjoy using them and was totally happy with them for ages. As someone else said above, these hooks seem to smooth out with use over time so even if the drag does annoy you at first it'll hopefully get better!
@@fourofcats5803 Actually it looks like several people are saying that they used something (an alcohol wipe, brown paper, etc) to wipe the factory coating off the hooks and that they're much smoother once you do that, so hopefully that'll work well for you too!
i bought the yarniss hooks myself, and it's fantastic personally. It's so comfortable to crochet with and all the sizes are great! What I did for them was literally wash/wipe the metal part with some wipes or just water. Mine came with some sort of almost tacky layer? It was weird, but after doing it it went away
I also own the Yarniss hooks, and I also love them. They are super durable and they slide really nicely on acrylic yarn for me. (and all different types of yarn as well)
The second set that you tried I have. At first the hooks were very grabby. So I used an alcohol swab on them. It removed that tacky feel. I love this set. Once I got the hook cleaned off they worked great.
I bought the Yarnis set when I first started learning crochet a few years ago. At the time I really like the set and found no problem with it. Then I learned more and decided to upgrade to a Tulip Etimo set. When I first tried it I was amazed at how the stitches moved like butta!! So smooth! It was a tremendous difference. I would recommend the Yarnis set for someone maybe who just wants to try out crochet to see if they like it. I also love the Clover as well. I never understood about the smoothness till I got these nicer ones. It was amazing.
i disagree. If i only experienced those hooks when i first began, I would definitely stop crocheting altogether. those hooks would turn me off completely towards the entire craft itself. and i never would have kept going to experience anything better.... simply because i would have no idea of what to compare them to.
Choosing a hook is so subjective. I have tried the prym and I really don’t like the way they feel in my hands and they are too long. My daughter has larger hands and she has used it some. The drag sometimes bothers me but I haven’t noticed it much with the set of yarnis. The shape of the hook is of utmost importance to me. The prym and all the bates hooks have that crook in the hook that hangs up every time I try to make a stitch. I don’t use them. I know you love the Furls, but they are way too big for me to grip. I lean on old standbys like clover amour, soft touch and yarnology by Hobby lobby.
My Furls glitter resin hook fell a very short distance and shattered in pieces. It's a fake wood type floor. I'm satisfied with my Odyssey but I've spent all I'm spending with them. Glad you brought up the supply problem. I'm a Susan Bates girl but use what the yarn dictates. Just ordered a furls looking resin hook off Etsy to give that type another try. Thank you for doing this. I found the same results with the soft touch etc.
I was gifted a set of the Yarniss hooks and I love them. They did come with some roughness, but I think it's a coating of some kind because with use the metal smooths out making them my favorite hooks that I use on a daily basis.
I found this to be true myself. I used brown paper from a grocery bag to smooth a hook from the set I haven’t used yet. Works well. This set is great for a beginner, but the snips dull too quickly.
14:46 it’s really interesting to see and hear other people preferences. For certain yarns and certain projects I actually like a little drag. It does slow me down, but that’s a good thing for me sometimes because when I start going too fast I make mistakes. The drag forces me to think about what I’m doing. I especially love it for sugar n cream yarn. It just slides all over the place on my smooth metal hooks and makes it harder to work with. With my Prym hooks, I have so much more control of the yarn. I just love that we have so many options and there is really a hook for every person and every type of project!
Same! I originally tried boye and I hated them. For beginning, I couldn't get thru my stitches, I couldn't pull up a loop. It was just not happening. I ended giving them all away since I bought a set after trying other brands. My favorite was Susan Bates. I'd be willing to try a clover amore. I tried their plastic one and find it works okay with some yarns, but others, its like nails on a chalk board, both in sound and overall experience. But none of the ones I tried, bothered me as much as the boye ones. And none did I like more than Susan bates
I'm so glad the Clover Amour hooks ranked #1. They are my absolute favorite. I recently purchased the packaged set , but just wish they came with a case. I looked for a nice case to store them in and didn't find one that fit the bill, so ended up sewing a zipper case with sleeves to hold the hooks and an accessory pouch built in. Have you ever done a video on storage solutions for hooks?
I agree with you! A hook case from clover would be a dream come true. Most hook cases don’t have much space for all the hook sizes. I’m always looking for a good case. For now I keep my clover in nice transparent jar but I’m afraid for the colours to fade.
I bought a glasses case that's shaped like a pencil case with a boxed end (same as the evil hooks 2nd to last - and I've since bought an actual pencil case with a boxed end lol) & they're great! I get diff size pencil cases & one has my fave hooks n small pair scissors, other has my tiny 2mm n below lace hooks (my expensive clover lace hooks are kept in an old fashioned metal pencilcase to stop damage to the fine hooks). In have bigger one to hold things like more scissors, measuring tape etc & another for my 8mm plus hooks as I rarely use them. I then make a wee loop of yarn I put thru the top of the zip (n also put one on the finger hole of my scissors) n use that to hold my stitch markers.
i purchased a pencil case from Amazon that holds all my Clover hooks and have room for more, and scissors, tape measure etc.. i have every Clover hook there was made.. even the steel ones. and they fit in there nice.. it is about the size of a lunch box or tiny smaller.
I'm still a crochet noob, and my Amazon cheap'n cheerful full set of any crochet hook I will ever need, or not need, works well for me. But, I don't know any better until/unless I treat myself to some expensive ones. While I'm learning, the set I have is perfect. I also think it's great that we all have completely different likes, needs, and dislikes, otherwise we'd all be after the same equipment which would be a nightmare! Thank you for this review. Your enthusiasm is really uplifting, which is why I started crochet in the first place - the feel good factor 🥰
I am SO late to this party but I wanted to drop in and thank you! I learned to crochet when I was a kid but only recently started making it a hobby. I ran across your videos yesterday, this one in particular has been a GAME CHANGER! I have been using basically those exact hooks in the multi pack from Amazon never realizing that the hook actually makes a difference. So, today I took my happy self to Michael's and purchased my very first Clover Amour....it has changed my life. This newbie with achy wrists thanks you! ❤
My personal favorite hooks are the set of Etimo tulip hooks that my husband bought me several years ago for Christmas,no more wrist pain like I got using metal hooks. I also have a steel hook that belonged to my great grandmother it's not used it's just a treasure😊❤
I absolutely love my etimo rose set. They are my top 1 set by far. Secondly I have some old hooks from my nanas old collection. And they are a close second. . ❤
I have the Prym hooks, and I love them, and you're right, they do seem to smooth out over time. I also have a couple of the Clover Amour hooks, and they're so good. I actually have a differing opinion of the soft touch! Yes, it's flat and really solid, but the one I got is SO SMOOTH it's at least as smooth as my Amour hooks, and I can crochet so fast with it, it's mindblowing.
I'm an in line lover myself. Susan Bates were my favorite hooks. Then i tried furls and i like them too. I really want to try their streamline metal line if it ever comes available. I dont own a clover hook but now I'll have to try the amour ones. I dont love smaller sized hooks, i prefer larger ones and love projects big or small that use larger hooks.
Susan Bates lover here. I have some Boye hooks (I can't stand the head) as well as some from Hobby Lobby. My niece gave me a set of the lighted hooks with interchangeable heads (they are okay, but not my go to hooks.) Susan Bates is my go to every time.
I asked for crochet supplies to start out in December for Christmas and it’s the best decision I’ve made. I just love your videos and content. You’ve been so helpful on my journey so far so thank you❤️❤️
I also love those hooks. And I also noticed they get smoother over time. The pointy hook is fantastic. And that ergonomic handle is super comfy It can be nice for your wrists - I think they could help you with your pain.
I am a Clover Amour girl! I started to crochet with a Boye hook..it got the job done. Next was the Susan Bates & loved them especially the rubber handle ones. Then bought just one Clover and fell in love! Although the full set is pricey..I bought my set with a 60% off coupon from JoAnne’s & have been ‘happily hooking’ ever since 🥰🧶. I did purchase a Furls resin hook (it was just so pretty & on sale) but had a bad experience. My hook had a chip in the hook head, completely unusable. Customer Service was great & sent me a replacement hook at no charge but the hook seems so fragile so I don’t use it at all. I just admire it’s prettiness. I have not tried an Odyssey as I just can’t justify the cost of the hook. I’d rather spend the money on yarn 🤗. Thank you for the great review! 😘🧶
Watched this video and immediately ordered the Clover Amour. Shockingly they arrived just a few hours later. I didn't even know it can be this much more pleasant to crochet! The hooks are so smooth, the handles are so soft, I'm very happy with my purchase! Thank you so much!
I have used the Clover Amour hooks almost as soon as they came out and I love them. I was using one as I was watching your video. I agree with the number 1 ranking.
I’m a Susan Bates girl. I love the in-line head. I’ve been tempted to try other hooks (especially ergonomic ones as I’m getting older and starting to have pain in my hands), but I just cannot like a tapered hook. All that said, I loved your video and I love your channel! Thanks for sharing your opinions!
I do love the Clover Amour and Furls Odyssey hooks also. I do have a Furls Streamline that works very nicely. I bought it on a whim as it’s a “flawed” second. The flaw is in the coloring of the resin the hook is made of. I paid a little less than the regular retail but still received a very nice hook that has a nice feel in my hand and is very smooth to crochet with.
I typically don't choose the "one handle, several heads" sets because I usually have lots of WIPS going at the same time (and I keep the hook with the project so I don't change sizes mid-project). I agree that the wooden, plastic, and resin hooks are annoying with wool and standard acrylic, but when I work with a slippery yarn like silk or a satin- finish manufactured yarn, I appreciate the extra control that the non-metal hooks provide.
I have a ton of WIPs at all times, too. I don't have enough hooks to keep them with the projects and I've been known to lose them often in a skein of yarn. lol What I do is cut a piece of notebook paper at the hole, write the hook size and brand on it, and attach it to the work with a stitch marker. It saves me so much time searching for hooks I've lost. lol
I saw a tip that suggested laying your hook on your WIP, take a picture and store in a your photos library and label it Crochet Projects, WIPS, whatever. I think that’s what I’m going to do. I just left Amazon, because I’m always needing more J hooks.
Talking about the Susan Bates hooks and grandmothers... I have really old Susan Bates hooks and they totally changed the way they make them. The old ones were smoother, the head is smoother, not so sharp on the inline and they are much nicer. But I still like Susan Bates but I use the black handle ergonomic. Lol. That's why it's awesome we have choices
Thank you so much for making this video! It's brought us all here and discussing something we love! My journey has been with Boye, my first brand and I trust them. I enjoy wooden ones, too, I try to have an open mind (: Turning 71, took a break from crocheting, got my passion back!❤🙏
I've tried all the fancy ones all the TH-camrs brag about like clover, Susan Bates, even sprung fo furls which I find so heavy. However I started with metal/aluminum boye hooks n ended with the ergonomic boye hooks. Those are my go to, to this day. I rarely find people that love the boye ones as well
Just as I thought that my number one would be the Tulip Etimo (Red) in particular, then comes Pyrm which is a great one. Then my love at first yarn over with Clover Amour. Ugh! It is so worth it, so smooth like butter the thumb rest is just so perfect. All thanks to you, I discovered and finally gave in to Clover Amour because I saw your hook recos. :)
Fun video! My favorite hooks are the Boye hooks. My Granny taught me with those hooks and I still use them! While the handles are important when evaluating crochet hooks, I like learning about the hook design too. In-line vs tapered, pointed or smooth kind of info. Thanks for another great effort💜💜💜
My favorite is the Boye hooks also. I saw how highly rated the Furls Odessey hooks were so I went looking for one. Ended up buying it on eBay and paid a premium price for it. The metal was the smoothest thing I’ve ever felt in a crochet hook. It was amazing. My problem is that I’m utilize a pencil hold for crochet and it’s awful for that. It felt wonderful in my hand holding it like a knife but I just can’t crochet like that. I’m going to chalk it up to live and learn.
Just FYI. My very first set of crochet hooks when I started crocheting again, were the Yarnis set. I noticed was they had a little drag at first , but after hundreds of projects they are very smooth and though I've added many hooks to my collection, these are my go to for big projects 😊
In my opinion, the crochet hook you like most might be that way because it "fits" the project you are working on. I have found that for certain projects a metal hook is best, but certain others work best with a resin. Some are like and we psych ourselves into liking it because it appeals to everything we WANT to like, and we use it despite the fact it's not perfect. I like your ranking though, Elise. Thank you.
I love the clover amor crochet hooks they are so easy to work with. They do not snag up or split the yarn the metal is super smooth too. When I started crocheting I used the old Boyle metal hooks which are very hard on your hands and pulls and snags and splits the yarn. The Clover hooks are the best and feels very good in and comfortable in your hand. I bought mine one at a time over an extended period of time. Anytime I had a coupon at Joann’s or Hobby Lobby I would try and buy a size I didn’t have.
What you are looking for is aluminum hooks. If the hooks are made of steel or another metal, they seem to drag. You are not going to get super smooth crocheting if the hooks are not polished aluminum. You will pay more but they don't aggravate you and they will last possible a lifetime. My go-to hooks are the Clover Etimo with 2nd place going to the orange Clover hooks. I've been a sucker for the very pretty inexpensive Amazon hooks too! They do look pretty in mason jars as decoration in my craft room LOL! Thank you for the video!
Well, so don't remember where did I heard this but you can try it. When you buy a new crochet hook and its not smooth, go ahead and wash ot with water and soap. Apparently some hooks come with some kind if substance that make them scratchy but if you wash them then they become soft. I would say try it and let us know.
I've been using the Clover Amour for more than six years and I still love them as much as ever. But I also really love my Tulips and Dots. The Clover and Dots are the ones I use the most. I don't care for plastic hooks and the metal ones need to be smooth. A lot of people complain that the Dots hooks aren't smooth, but I haven't had too much of a problem. I had a problem one time of one of the Dots dragging a little, but then I just wiped it down with a microfiber cloth and now it works perfectly. I use them everyday along with my Clovers. I like my Clover Soft Touch is ok IF I am sweaty. The handle is too slippery in my hand. The Bates hooks are ok, but not my favorite. I hate Boye hooks. I have two of the Furls Odyssey hooks that I asked for. Unfortunately, I have a really hard time using them, so they just look pretty with all of my other hooks. I've got the pink handled, gold head Furls.
Just a little FYI for anyone wanting the Clover Amour crochet hook set. Joanne's has them for $87.99. They price matched Amazon's price. I used a 50% off coupon and got them for around $22.00.
I really enjoyed this video: especially learning that I really like Susan Bates hooks 😂. Very much value your opinion so love hearing it even when we differ 😊. Would love to hear prices on them to get an idea of cost associated with each of them too. Thanks for the content!
I LOVE your reviews and appreciate the time you put into letting us know what's best and what's worse!! I've learned so much from all of your videos including how to do amigurumi 😊 and have made several differnt animals and a doll. Thank you!!
I'm so glad you loved the counting crochet hook so much!! I'm new to crochet and I've wasted so much time losing track of my stitches and rows, so learning that a hook line this existed felt like a dream come true! Because it seemed like such a novelty though, I was kind of skeptical about whether it would actually work in function or if it was just a gimmick, so hearing you put it in your top three really gave me a lot of confidence!
I was intrigued! Sadly it's in a shape I already know doesn't work in my grip style. Guess I'm still puting stich markers (or bobby pins) every 20 stiches to count.
Thanks for the review. I agree with the criteria you use: smoothness, handle feel, shank length, ease of identifying size. I use the knife grip as you do, and do many amigarumi and other sculpted projects. My preferred head shape is the inline. Regarldess of fiber type, inline glides through stiches smoothly and does not split the yarn - for me. I do have inline and pointed hooks in my collection. The only time I use pointed is with my steel hooks as i've never found inline in those tiny sizes - my finest hook is a #14, suitable for fine sewing thread/ #100 threads. As a teacher, when i see a student still having difficulties halfway through the first lesson, i have them switch from whatever style they began with to a different style, or sometimes the alternative grip. As each of us is unique, those changes make the difference between someone having fun leatning and someone too discouraged to want to keep learning.
I can't live without my Susan Bates crochet hooks. My crochet just looks better with them. I'm not sure why, but I would give some of these other hooks, just to see how they work for me.
I have used several types from bamboo to glass and i always go back to my boyds and bates metal. I inherited mom and grandmas sets of steel susan bates. I watched another video you made and now use cosmetic blenders to hold on with more arthritic hands. It keeps the cold metal from hurting me when too hot to wear gloves. I may try another set but for now it works for me. I found a beautiful yarn bowl ceramic at our habitat for humanity large size double holder for 20.00. I believe i use the pencil hold for my hook and use flat on my 30some year old bates to flip back and forth to make stitches. Very little stress on hands and wrist this way. I also noticed the new bates seem to be aluminum now not sreel. Your information is good. I will continue to watch as i like seeing new things arise from a very old skill😊
That's great! I've heard that Susan Bates were much better back in the day and now the quality is much poorer. That's great that you added the beauty blenders it make them ergonomic! 🧶🧶🧶
i find it so funny how preferences work! i use ONLY susan bates. i can’t seem to make tapered hooks work for me, so i stick with in line. i’ve also tried ergo handles but they seem to make my hands feel worse, not better! human being are so weird and silly and different and i love that about us 🖤
I actually love Clover Soft Touch. They are very light and I like how they feel in my hand. Maybe because I don't like ingrip hooks that much and this one is very lightweight in comparison to most. I'm also a fan of wooden hooks, especially in bigger sizes. I think it shows pretty well how different preferences crocheters can have. But I totally agree with your opinion about Addi Swing! I'm curious though how it would be rated by person with serious arthritis.
This was so informative! I started crocheting when I was a high school freshman in 1969. We lived in a very small town, and the only crochet hooks available there at that time were Boye. So that was what I learned on and I’ve had brand loyalty to that company ever since - especially since I once got brave and bought a different kind while visiting another community; interestingly, it was a Susan Bates, and I detested it! So I had no interest in deviating until this summer. My grandson’s fiancée recently learned to crochet; and when I asked what she wanted for her July birthday, she said, (knowing I would love to encourage her hobby), she would really like to try the Clover Amour hooks. So I got her a set; it goes without saying that I opened the package before I wrapped it - and I fell in love. Now, hearing you put these in the number one spot, has pretty much convinced me I may want to get a set for myself. The only thing that disappointed me when I bought hers was that this company doesn’t seem to make afghan hooks; I wanted to give her every size she would ever be likely to need, from tiny crochet cotton size up through the bulkiest yarn in the market. But I had to get the afghan hooks from another company. Is anyone aware whether Clover may actually offer these? Thanks so much. You’ve gained a new subscriber today! 😊
I have the Yarniss set. I have to recommend it. If your dog gets ahold of your hook and chews of the rubber, the metal underneath still has the size number. My dog did that. I don't think she was very grateful for the sweater I made her.
I am so glad I started watching your videos! ❤ I had never heard of Furls until then and they are my absolute favorite hooks. It is so disappointing that they are so difficult to get.
The Clover Amore hooks are by FAR the best choice for this crochet enthusiast! For years I used the cheap grey plastic(!) hooks not knowing how poor they were till I splurged for metal hooks. It was just a 3 hook set, but WOW, they made all the difference. As I got older my thumb and fingers became more sensitive to the hard metal hooks so I tried out/used/explored other brands and styles. Even have a set that looks and at first glance feels like the Clover Amore. That is until I started a project with them, only to have the squishy rubber hand slowly erode(!) from the repetitious contact of my left thumbnail! More and more of the shaft became exposed, ultimately making them one of my poorest choices. Those Amores? Still going strong WITHOUT the erosion! woo hoo!
I love the Tulip crochet hooks. I got a set on Amazon that are red years ago and still use them all the time. The set I have only goes to 5mm, but they start so small (I think around 1.5mm). I find them great for Amigurumi.
Thanks for all your videos. I’ve been crocheting for 4 yrs. I seem to have a natural talent for amigurumis. I never understood what you are meant when you said that the smoothness of your hook matters. Today I forgot my favorite hook at home and try borrowing someone else’s hook and it was awful 😣. I didn’t even try to crochet with it. Thanks again your videos have been so helpful.
I ❤ my Clover Amour crochet hooks. Having learnt crocheting in later life I needed a hook that didn’t hurt my hands and these are just right, not too thick or thin. They are all I need.
I would grade the hooks almost exactly as you did with the exception of Furls. I found the Furl hooks to be too heavy and the handle too large and also, overpriced. Clover Amour is my #1. And , yes, the Clover hard handle is not comfortable. I have quite a few of them, too. Unfortunately, I was inexperienced and bought them because they were readily available. Lesson learned.
I totally agree with your opinion of the lighted hook set that are horrible. I promptly returned my set after giving them a fair try. The worst for me was the intense eye strain from the lights.
I’m with you 100%. I’ve tried and still use some of the hooks you’ve tested. My absolute favorite hook is the same as yours. You just can’t beat a Clover Amour Hook. I will mention that any hook that has the size printed on the handle is eventually going to disappear. This is another great point about Clover Amour! The size is embedded into the handle and in all likelihood will not disappear. Thank you for your review. I’ve been tempted to purchase the Yarniss set and am so happy I didn’t!😉
I wanted to love the Furls Odyssey hooks. I went berserk and bought about 6 of them. However, I cannot like the inline hooks. They slow me down and seem to catch on the yarn. I have tried to use them dozens of times, but just can't. I do love the handles though. I then bought a set of Clover. Amour hooks and I like them a lot, but I find the handles kind of short as I like a longer handle. So then I found BQueen hooks. They are closed now due to a fire unfortunately, but I love their hooks. They have a wooden handle and a metal hook that feels like a Clover. The handles are a nice size and easy for me to hold. I managed to get 7 of them before they closed. They are pricey, but I just decided that being pain free is worth the cost of these hooks. I also have Tulip hooks in pink and gray and like them a lot as well.
A recommendation especially with brand new hooks- if they’re catching and squeaking like that off the bat, take sone alcohol wipes if you have them or something similar and scrub down the hook head. Never know what may be there from manufacturing and whatnot. My absolute favorite hook (though they don’t go smaller than a 5mm from what I’ve seen so major bummer for amigurumi) is usually squeaky when you first get it but a few good scrubs and it’s like the perfect texture. Sometimes I find something Clover (I swear the soft touch is worse in this regard than the Amour) can be a bit too smooth and I’ll drop stitches a lot if I’m working fast so I like a bit of grip. But depends on the project and yarn. Sometimes I prefer resin for the light weight and that little bit of grip, sometimes I love the slip of an Amour. But on any material- give it a good scrub. My favorite hook is kind of a Clover Amour copycat made by Hobby Lobby. (Oh, they’re Yarnology and seeing you love the set you have- if you get a chance try these ones! They only sell them single) I think the packaging just says “luxury crochet hook” and there’s several different varieties that say this but these are resin or similar to whatever the material is Clover uses on their larger size hooks and the handles are all multi colored and maybe slightly larger than an Amour with a bit more of a grippy texture (kind of like a Boye ergonomic- a little more squish and grip in your hand than the Amour). It’s like the perfect blend of a lot of hooks. I find the Prym hooks interesting because I have tiny hands and tend to choke up on the hook and hold them way close to the tip (that’s the other thing about the Hobby Lobby hook I mentioned. It’s even shorter than an Amour and probably my shortest hook which may be a major negative for others!) and Prym is considerably longer than pretty much every other hook I have. Hobby Lobby does a dupe of them that’s not quite as good and obnoxiously they also keep the super hard to see sizing thing on the darn thing. I’m really big on experimenting with new hooks because I have relatively significant hand and arm disabilities and I find different hooks can make a radical difference in amount of pain I experience and how long I can work. Some hooks cause me pain within a few minutes or work, that Hobby Lobby hook I love so much I can work with all day long. So massive, massive amount of difference and while I don’t generally recommend any specific hook to folks, whenever I hear people talk about pain or disability issues I always say try lots of hooks! Tulip and particular the resin Furls (don’t think the weight of the wood ones will be a good fit for me because of their weight. I love my Yarnology because it’s so similar to Amour but lighter weight- enough so it makes a difference when working for longer periods. Just wish they did those smaller sizes!) are still on my list of hooks to try. I may have to try that whole Yarnology set too, especially to get the smaller sizes. My current thing I’m looking for- ergonomic steel hooks. I’m kind of getting into working with crochet threads and fingering or lace weight yarns but there’s not a lot of options for the steel hooks and even the smallest of the standard/aluminum hook sizes. (Can you tell I love geeking out over hooks? 😂 Loved this video!)
I agree with the number 1 pick. I have bought several crochet hooks but I always keep reaching for my Clover Amour hooks. The metal is super smooth and the handle is soft. 🧶
Good video again :) i will have to try the number one hook ....i have found the pro knit hooks to b very comfortable to work with Thanks again for yr video
i love the prym hooks! i’d never used an ergonomic grip or plastic hook before until a few months ago when i brought some so i didn’t know what to expect, but i think they’re brilliant. I never found metal hooks uncomfortable as i’d used them since i started crocheting so i only really brought the prym hooks because of their colours, but they have worked great for me. Mine have always been smooth so i’m not sure about the smoothness issue but i’m sure with a little bit of time they would smooth out :3
If you look back at vintage crochet hooks, you will find nothing like ergonomic handles or 'big and fat' ones. Why is that? Do you think crocheters back then had no idea what is good or bad for their hands? Look at jewellery or tableware done by a proper masters. Every item done by hand is a proper masterpiece. Do you think these people wasnt able to do anything as today mass production? Yes,back then wasnt so many materials to choose from, but wood, leather, later on backelite, natural resin was available. So,these big and fat round hook handles are 21st century 'treasure '. If you are holding your hook correctly, you wont be able to use these hooks, because it is tiring and very painful to your hands. When you are learning to crochet, plese, try to do it correctly, because later on you will have a lot of problems with your joints and muscles. I have weak joints, fibromyalgia pains all over my body, but with clover soft grip I can crochet all day long without any pain. I love vintage metal hooks as well. They are very sharp and best for cotton doilies. Also metal on the hook polishes over time from constant using and a bit rough surface becames super smooth over the time.
I was on the edge of my seat to hear your number 1, and they are my number 1 too! I just love my Clover Amour hooks so much. Also, they are a great ergonomic hook if you have arthritis in your hands. For thread crochet, the steel hook set I use is Boye. I like them as they are very smooth.
Thank you for your review. I would have fallen for that Yarniss set too, so you've saved me from wasting my craft funds. I too love my Clover Armor - I got the sets a few years ago and love them.
I agree with Clovers as the number one hook. I started crocheting with a Boyd 3.75 because that is the only hook my mother-in-law used, so i thought that was the correct hook to use. I made the Navajo afghan for 13 years with that small hook. I will say that they are by far the warmest afghans I ever made because the stitches are so small. 😊 Once, I started to learn more about yarns and learned to read a pattern. I realized just how much I was missing out on. I gave Clover Hooks a try, and I have never looked back. Thank you for reviewing so many different hooks and showing how many different ones are out there to try.
Thanks for this. This is a no buy month for me. When it ends I will get the counting hooks. A number of comments mentioned cleaning them and they got smoother. Now if i could find the old style very small steel hooks in an ergonomic handle! I like working with the fine threads.
Yarniss set are the ones I’ve started out with and still use today. And I had no clue that hook metal matters. It makes so much sense now! Thank you for the review!
I've been crocheting for about 60 years and always used the Boyes or Bates hooks until about 4 years ago, when I began doing Amigurumi and my hands were hurting. My daughter ordered me a cheap set of Amazon hooks to be overnighted. My hands hurt less, and since I always have many WIPS, I ordered a different cheap set. Out of the two sets, 1 hook ended up with a loose rubber handle after much use, another hook had a real rough spot on the hook. The rest are great. Now, I struggle with thumb arthritis, carpal tunnel, and ulnar nerve damage and have gone back to doing flat crochet for the time being. I'm trying to balance a smooth hook with comfort grip and am experimenting with size J hooks with different handles. I sometime switch hooks every couple rows on my current baby afghan. I would like a Prym handle on a a Clover Amour hook!! That handle is most comfy so far. My cheap rubber handle hook has a thumb spot and is also flat on the back, where the Clover Amour has a rounded side opposite the flat. Oddly, I prefer the cheap to the Amour for that reason, although the hook is smoother on the clover. I guess I am loading my Amazon cart with a couple J hooks today. I plan on having my hand therapist watch me crochet some day soon. My first try is the Omni. Thanks for your review.
You're so welcome!! Have you checked out the Chunky Boy Craft Handle? You use whatever crochet hook you want and then put the handle over it. It looks very comfy! 🧶🧶🧶 chunkyboycraft.com/ ❤️
Interesting getting your critiques. I have only used Sue Bates since I was 8 years old. Not because I love them but because they were so available. I've been thinking about trying new hooks and this video has given me some options to explore. Thank you!
I’ve used Boye for years, but ventured out to try the Clover Amour and the red tulip ones- turns out my hand can’t stand the rubber grip on them 😢. I love how smooth both of them were, but my hand was wigging out over the feel of the grip. Great video!
Thanks for this video. I had no idea hooks made such a difference. I started crocheting at the end of 2022 and I bought the exact Yarniss set of hooks you reviewed today (and were so disappointed by). I bought some Clover hooks after this video-WOW! Crocheting is so easier with the Clover hooks. I love them. So glad I found your channel and this video.
You’re so right that we all can have such different tastes in crochet hooks. Your 10th place Clover Soft Touch is one of my favorites - but I use a pencil grip. The “soft touch” is the little grip right where my thumb goes. And the flatness of the hook means I never get turned around - whenever I pick it up my hand is already rightly aligned with the hook. I do love a good steel hook for how easily it flows through the stitches. Steel is fast. But I like a light weight hook for less stress on my hands. That’s why, although I’ve never ever found a faster hook than my Furls Odyssey, I hardly ever use it. Too hard on my hands. Really enjoyed this video! Love seeing so many different hooks and getting your takes on them. Thanks so much!
When I first started crocheting over 11 years ago, the only hooks I knew about were Susan Bates, then I went ergonomic because the metal hurt so bad. Afterwards, I would only purchase custom made, which of course got a bit pricey. Fast forward to the present, I am in love with the following: 1. Furls Streamline Resin hooks, 2. Clover plastic large hooks. Now, I also have the Prym line, also, those Hobby Lobby plastic ( for the purposes of TSA approval) hooks too, but my Number One Go To crochet hook is Furls Streamlines! I so love these hooks, and I’m always able to catch a great deal on them! This was a great comparison video.
I learned to crochet 68 years ago. My grandmother taught me. I use a knife hold. I use Boye crochet hooks, both aluminum and steel and work with all weights of yarn/thread from the large bulky yarns down to sewing thread. I have made items all the way from bedspreads down to lace trim and just about every article of clothing you can think of. A Susan Bates hook would be my second choice. I dislike any hook with a handle larger than the shaft. It is cumbersome and uncomfortable for me. A perfect example of different strokes for different folks. Happy crocheting!
hey so i bought the prym ergonomics 5mm hook and came home to watch this review hoping to not have buyers remorse about it. I was working up some roses with 100% acrylic yarn and it was dragging a bit and it was kinda bad. love the shape of the hook and it is so long for the neck and the body is so comfortable. i did notice that it eventually stopped having as much drag but it kinda squeeks a bit on the tighter parts of the flower. not too shabby but i agree with your top pick and the preference of metal buttery hooks
Oh wow!! Thanks for sharing your results!! 🧶🧶🧶
Omgosh!!! I'm off to the craft store now 😊
🤩 wow! awesome !!! I’m glad I just ordered them!! ❤ thanks for sharing!
What a great idea!!! 🧶🧶🧶
This is a really great idea, love it!
Good to know.
I’m a Girl Scout I didn’t know you could donate
As a former girl scout, thank you so much for your support!
I had the Boye on my list and then I completely forgot it!! 🫣
I am curious now to know where you would rank the Boye hook? It’s the hook I use the most and like it very much, but am always open to trying something new. I will definitely be trying the Clover Amour. Thank you so much for your excellent review on crochet hooks!
I didn't think I could use the ergonomic hooks until I used one of my mother's and now I want all my hooks to be ergonomic lol
For me, Boye is the way to go for patterns that require tight stitches. The Boye hook slides in easily without a struggle.
Me too!! Great hooks!! 🧶🧶🧶
They really are the best out there. I think Etimo’s Tulip hook are great, too, but the head is pointier which can be an issue with some yarns.
I love those hooks too. I even bought a second set.
Some of the Clover Amours have white hooks and others are metal. are the metal tips/hooks EQUALLY AS GOOD? I don't want to get the wrong ones. Thanks~
I've only used the metal ones and they are great! @@0campy
That's great to know! Thank you!! 🧶🧶🧶
I had the same experience. After a bit of use they felt smoother
That's so good to know!! 🧶🧶🧶
If you rub a dryer sheet on the metal, that works too. Only need to do once. The factory rough finish is cleaned off.
Awesome tip! I just used an alcohol swab on the Yarniss hook that was squeaky and now it's perfect!
I bought a set from Amazon, and I returned them because they were grabby. I never thought about using alcohol on the metal.
I got a set of Clover Amore for my birthday and they came in yesterday. I am in love.
Yay!!! Exciting!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I agree that smooth metal is worth the extra cost of one can afford it and they know they like crocheting! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks so much for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
The pryms are to long for me also. My hands are small.
@@MsMichele16 so do I. I think I will try the yarnology ones that E has recommended.
Hobby lobby polka dots are my favorite to use
Works well. This set is great for a beginner, but the snips dull too quickly.
me too! at first i was a little concerned about it but it was the only 4.5 mm i could find so i decided to just carry on and it was so worth it!
That's so good to know!! Thank you for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
That's great to know!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for sharing!! That's an interesting reason to enjoy the rougher crochet hooks! 🧶🧶🧶
I literally gasped when you said you didn’t like Susan Bates! I really enjoyed your review of the hooks.
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I will only use Susan Bates crochet hooks. I've never been able to crochet with Boye hooks.
I tried them, and didn't like how they'd catch on the yarn. I love my Boyes. Smooth, easy to use, and no catching on the yarn.
Bates is my #1
Oh that would make a nice video! I ended up going on a Raverly hunt for a case.
I agree with you! A hook case from clover would be a dream come true. Most hook cases don’t have much space for all the hook sizes. I’m always looking for a good case. For now I keep my clover in nice transparent jar but I’m afraid for the colours to fade.
That's such a great video idea!!! Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks so much for sharing! And it's so great we have so many choices! 🧶🧶🧶
Awesome!!!! I'm so glad you got a Clover hook!! 👏👏👏
My personal favorite hooks are the set of Etimo tulip hooks that my husband bought me several years ago for Christmas,no more wrist pain like I got using metal hooks. I also have a steel hook that belonged to my great grandmother it's not used it's just a treasure😊❤
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
The Tulip Etimo (Red) are my favorietes too!! But for bulky yarn I use the big sizes from Clover amour.
That's all I used too.
Thanks so much for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love my prym hooks...I just broke my 3.5mm though 😭
Susan Bates was my first hook. And I have tons of them and love them.
That's great!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love Susan Bates too! I’m in love with in-line hooks, though many people can’t use them at all.
I am a Susan Bates lover ..price ..not plastic don't break.the throat in line Great ❤❤❤❤
Susan Bates lover here.
You’ve been so helpful on my journey so far so thank you❤️❤️
That's wonderful! So glad you enjoy the videos!! 🧶🧶🧶
i really love prym. they get smoother over time. it’s my favorite ❤
Thank you for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Watched this video and immediately ordered the Clover Amour. Shockingly they arrived just a few hours later. I didn't even know it can be this much more pleasant to crochet! The hooks are so smooth, the handles are so soft, I'm very happy with my purchase! Thank you so much!
Oh I'm so glad!!! Yes! There's a world of difference between a good and bad crochet hook!! 🧶🧶🧶
I have used the Clover Amour hooks almost as soon as they came out and I love them. I was using one as I was watching your video. I agree with the number 1 ranking.
They are such great hooks!! 🧶🧶🧶
Same. It has to be inline or I won't use it.
There’s an Etsy shop that takes bates and boye hooks and wraps the handle to make them ergonomic. My darn yarn is one.
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Great tips! Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I keep my hooks with my projects as well!
Well that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for making this video! It's brought us all here and discussing something we love! My journey has been with Boye, my first brand and I trust them. I enjoy wooden ones, too, I try to have an open mind (: Turning 71, took a break from crocheting, got my passion back!❤🙏
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm so glad you like it too!! 🧶🧶🧶
Fun video! My favorite hooks are the Boye hooks. My Granny taught me with those hooks and I still use them! While the handles are important when evaluating crochet hooks, I like learning about the hook design too. In-line vs tapered, pointed or smooth kind of info. Thanks for another great effort💜💜💜
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Clover is my go to for sure!! I tried them once, returned them. Then I ordered them again and I absolutely love them ❤️
They really are great hooks! 🧶🧶🧶
Clover Amour are my favorites too! Prym do get smoother, but the can be good for very slippery yarn, like bamboo. Good video.
Thank you!! 🧶🧶🧶
Just FYI. My very first set of crochet hooks when I started crocheting again, were the Yarnis set. I noticed was they had a little drag at first , but after hundreds of projects they are very smooth and though I've added many hooks to my collection, these are my go to for big projects 😊
Good to know! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you.
Good point! Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks so much for sharing!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks so Lucy for sharing your experience with those hooks!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love the dots hooks too!
I found the furls rather heavy, beautiful to look at and a very smooth metal. I don’t reach for them like I hoped I would.
Just a little FYI for anyone wanting the Clover Amour crochet hook set. Joanne's has them for $87.99. They price matched Amazon's price. I used a 50% off coupon and got them for around $22.00.
Now that is a fantastic deal!! Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I used my coupons until I had collected a whole set.
I really enjoyed this video: especially learning that I really like Susan Bates hooks 😂. Very much value your opinion so love hearing it even when we differ 😊.
Would love to hear prices on them to get an idea of cost associated with each of them too.
Thanks for the content!
Oh I should have included that in the video!! 🧶🧶🧶
I LOVE your reviews and appreciate the time you put into letting us know what's best and what's worse!! I've learned so much from all of your videos including how to do amigurumi 😊 and have made several differnt animals and a doll. Thank you!!
That's awesome!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love this hook! I like to use the stitch counter to remind me of the goal count in a row (especially helpful with shawls)
I was intrigued! Sadly it's in a shape I already know doesn't work in my grip style. Guess I'm still puting stich markers (or bobby pins) every 20 stiches to count.
I really enjoyed using that hook!! 🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Excellent review. I agree with you on the Clover hook, i really love that buttery smooth shaft. Thank you for putting this together
You're so welcome!! 🧶🧶🧶
Just brilliant… you put such a lot of work and energy into your videos Elise and I and at least 14k others appreciated it ❤️
Thank you so much!! ❤️
I can't live without my Susan Bates crochet hooks. My crochet just looks better with them. I'm not sure why, but I would give some of these other hooks, just to see how they work for me.
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I wasn't sure about buying the set of clover amour so I bought one to try and the stitches are neat and so easy to handle!
Thank you! ❤
You are so welcome! 🧶🧶🧶
i find it so funny how preferences work! i use ONLY susan bates. i can’t seem to make tapered hooks work for me, so i stick with in line. i’ve also tried ergo handles but they seem to make my hands feel worse, not better!
human being are so weird and silly and different and i love that about us 🖤
I totally agree!! We all have our own preferences! Thankfully there are a lot of hooks to choose from! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for sharing! That would be interesting to know if the Swing hook works for them! 🧶🧶🧶
Wow! All I’ve ever had is the #12 set. I think I will broaden my horizons. Thank you 😊😊😊
There are so many amazing hooks to try! 🧶🧶🧶
I have the Yarniss set. I have to recommend it. If your dog gets ahold of your hook and chews of the rubber, the metal underneath still has the size number. My dog did that. I don't think she was very grateful for the sweater I made her.
Lol!!! 🤣 Thank you for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I am so glad I started watching your videos! ❤ I had never heard of Furls until then and they are my absolute favorite hooks. It is so disappointing that they are so difficult to get.
I think it's just the Furls Odyssey hooks that are difficult to get your hands on. But not carrying smaller hook sizes is disappointing. 🧶🧶🧶
2:55 ok, I couldn’t figure out why it needed a USB but now I understand; for the row & stitch count 😮😅 from Ohio🇺🇸
Yes! It's a pretty neat feature! ❤
I love watching your videos while crocheting ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
Still going strong WITHOUT the erosion! woo hoo!
My favorite too.
I love the Tulip crochet hooks. I got a set on Amazon that are red years ago and still use them all the time. The set I have only goes to 5mm, but they start so small (I think around 1.5mm). I find them great for Amigurumi.
That's awesome! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️❤️❤️
I love my Yarniss…the second set in the cute bag! Mine were very smooth and easy to handle!
I'm so glad you like your set!! 🧶🧶🧶
I ❤ my Clover Amour crochet hooks. Having learnt crocheting in later life I needed a hook that didn’t hurt my hands and these are just right, not too thick or thin. They are all I need.
I love them too! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks so much for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I have waxed rough metal crochet hooks in the past, and it has helped make the yarn pass smoothly on the hook.
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I totally agree with your opinion of the lighted hook set that are horrible. I promptly returned my set after giving them a fair try. The worst for me was the intense eye strain from the lights.
Yes. There are better hooks out there. Thank you for sharing your experience! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm glad it was helpful! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for sharing!! The BQueen hooks sound amazing!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Love it!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I put rubbery pencil covers from Dollar tree on my OG old fashioned metal hooks. Perfect.
That's awesome!! 🧶🧶🧶
I agree with the number 1 pick. I have bought several crochet hooks but I always keep reaching for my Clover Amour hooks. The metal is super smooth and the handle is soft. 🧶
Couldn't agree more!! 🧶🧶🧶
Good video again :) i will have to try the number one hook ....i have found the pro knit hooks to b very comfortable to work with
Thanks again for yr video
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Got my first Prym hook not too long ago and it’s amazing! Crocheted for 2HRS straight and my hands DID NOT HURT!
Yay! That is amazing! 🧶🧶🧶
This was fun. I've never seen such intensity of emotion towards crochet hooks. Love it! Thank you. ❤
Lol! I get a little too excited!! 😂😂😂
I am obsessed with the Prym cooks!! They are so pretty and don't cause my joints to seize after hours of crocheting. my personal favourite!
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
i love the prym hooks! i’d never used an ergonomic grip or plastic hook before until a few months ago when i brought some so i didn’t know what to expect, but i think they’re brilliant. I never found metal hooks uncomfortable as i’d used them since i started crocheting so i only really brought the prym hooks because of their colours, but they have worked great for me. Mine have always been smooth so i’m not sure about the smoothness issue but i’m sure with a little bit of time they would smooth out :3
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm so glad it's not my beginner failing that causes the constant squeak with the Knitiss! I'm going to get another set asap, thank you!
The first one seems like it’d be good for people who use the “pencil” hold. The buttons would be more convenient and visible imo. ❤
You're probably right! Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
The way I gasped over the Clover Soft Touch and Addi Swing being so far back 😂 Your opinions are lovely to hear, love your content!
Thank you so much! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 🧶🧶🧶
The Clover Amour is my absolute favorite hook. I can crochet for hours . Very glad I purchased them 😊
Same here! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Of all of my crochet hooks (and I've tried MANY) my Clover Amour are the ones I keep coming back to. 10000% agree with them being #1.
They are such great hooks!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for your review. I would have fallen for that Yarniss set too, so you've saved me from wasting my craft funds. I too love my Clover Armor - I got the sets a few years ago and love them.
I'm glad it was helpful!! 🧶🧶🧶
That's wonderful! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for this. This is a no buy month for me. When it ends I will get the counting hooks. A number of comments mentioned cleaning them and they got smoother. Now if i could find the old style very small steel hooks in an ergonomic handle! I like working with the fine threads.
The counting hooks were very very smooth metal!! 🧶🧶🧶
Yarniss set are the ones I’ve started out with and still use today. And I had no clue that hook metal matters. It makes so much sense now! Thank you for the review!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you!
I'm glad the video was helpful!! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise, You are one of my favorites. No, wait a minute, you are my favorite crochet TH-camr! I love your projects and the way you teach!
Awww! Thank you so much! 🩷🩷🩷
I’ve used Boye for years, but ventured out to try the Clover Amour and the red tulip ones- turns out my hand can’t stand the rubber grip on them 😢. I love how smooth both of them were, but my hand was wigging out over the feel of the grip. Great video!
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm usually a knitter but when I do crochet I have loved the clover soft-touch.
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I started out with the Susan Bates hooks, but I'm so glad that there are better, more ergonomic options. Thanks for the reviews, they're helpful!
You are so welcome! 🧶🧶🧶
I LOVE wood crochet hooks. After using them a few times it becomes very smooth. Love them
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
The Furls resin line are so good. Love their shape. My number one is also that Clover one. Love my Clover!!
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I've been crocheting for many, many years. I so agree that the Clover Amour hooks are best!
They are fantastic! ❤️
hey so i bought the prym ergonomics 5mm hook and came home to watch this review hoping to not have buyers remorse about it.
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
