The Mayor NEEDS to understand that graffiti is NOT hate crime, it is mental illness, substance abuse and homeless behavior.
From what SFPD anti graffiti unit told us, the taggers are mostly whites between the ages of early 20s to middle aged 40s+ doing most of the tagging. Those were the big taggers that they caught in the past.
People just have too much time on their hands or nothing to do!

I remember going to the city from my aunt n uncle's... they'll live in Pittsburgh ca. A 20 min Bart ride took you to the downtown area... was fun in the 80s ... now...gezzz
