I'm going to vote for her in November because of all these attacks from the establishment that didn't endorse her during her 2022 election. She started her term in January 2023, the same year, those who she defeated made a coalition to start a recall campaign for issues that were created by her predecessors. To make the matter worst for herself, she fired the chief of police that was involved in some shitty misconduct. Libby Schaff governed Oakland for 8 years, she has done nothing beside accelerating the gentrification of Oakland and pushing middle income folks to the streets. She could have pushed the renovation of our roads during the Covid pandemic when most people were working from home. Did nada! But because she was giving the construction contracts to her Piedmont millionnaires friends, they cheered her up. It is under her terms that the Warriors and the Raiders left Oakland. The A's also started the threat to leave Oakland if their demands were not met. So, what exactly are we blaming Sheng Tao for?
