Such a relaxing video. Books, lovely music etc. summer is a great time for staying indoors and reading--I say this as someone who avoids heat and the sun as much as possible 🤣🤣🤣
A lovely vlog, thank you. I hope you will continue to enjoy Emily Henry's book. It's one that I'd like to read at some point, after Happy Place which I recently bought. I'm already looking forward to watching your Jane Austen July TBR!
Great video Heather. I''m now a self care life coach. From one singer to another you have a beautiful voice. I feel very vulnerable about sharing my singing outside my lessons too. What genre of song was it? I loved Gentian Hill which I read for the Historical Fiction readathon. My third Elizabeth Goudge and my third five star/
Thank you! My teacher specializes in opera, so we tend to focus on classical music, but will branch out into Broadway (which this was), and occasionally folk music or hymns.
Love that summer self care was your theme for the vlog. Also love that corner in the first shot full of books! Was that a coffeecake you made? It looked so good, I want to bake one soon too now. I usually walk for exercise but yoga would be so great for flexibility and strength. Love the singing practice, that’s so awesome. I’m glad you’re having such a nice and relaxing break. I’m so excited for Jane Austen July!
Thanks! Yes, it's our family recipe for coffee cake. That's my treat breakfast (that I usually make once a month, if I'm honest). Yoga is as close as I get to dance these days and I highly recommend it (also great for regulating my nervous system). For more on that corner of books, I have a playlist of my bookshelf tour videos.
Good morning Heather. I enjoyed seeing your daily life vlog as it covered more than just your reading. Thank you for sharing 😊

Me, too. I enjoy being able to swim at the beach or in our pool, but this was the second day of our 90-degree heatwave, so A/C it was.
Best wishes with your reading choices. I hope you get some great stories.
So very talented!
Thank you!

Thanks! The Emily Henry was pretty good, but I'm told I'll enjoy Book Lovers (and possibly Beach Read) more.
Hi Heather. I love your Sunday videos. They are really calming. Where did you buy the Jane Austen t-shirt please?
Thank you.
Thanks! I bought it from PrintsnPauper on Etsy.

@@freshparchment with the exception of opera we sing the same genres.

@@freshparchment Thanks for letting me about your bookshelf tour videos! I do need to make my way though your backlog :)
@@karlalikestoread You're welcome! And if you want any recipes I make, I'm happy to share those, too. :)
