Tainted Grail Tips and Tricks

A few tips that I have learned during my initial playthroughs of Tainted Grail: A Fall of Avalon from Awaken Realms. No spoilers, just some friendly advice for smoother play.

You are wrong regarding eating food when resting: If you do not eat food=energy drops to 0. This means you are exhausted only regaining 4 energy.

Also: if you are already at 0 energy and choose not to eat, you will lose 1 health instead.

Yeah this is important to keep in mind! It can be helpful in certain situation where you go down on energy to complete something on a timer and is already pretty healthy. That can become an option.

8:37: see page 15 of the rules. "Connected Attribute Key - this icon means the number of connected Attribute Keys of this specific type in the entire Sequence"

At 13:00. yeah, as Bech says below, it IS a negative if you don't consume food. You won't die, like in other games. But you'll hamper yourself significantly.

The 3.5 x 2.4 x 1.2 is the size that will fit in one of the card slots in the Tainted Grail insert. You have to buy a 12 pack, but I use these all the time for board game storage.
